You ever try to “do everything right” and still feel like the world is setting you up? We start with a real food safety fear around a cyclospora parasite investigation tied to fresh produce and the way big suppliers and salad kits can ripple through grocery stores and restaurants. It turns into a blunt reality check about what “healthy” even means when the supply chain is this tangled, plus practical talk on what to watch for and why people are fed up.

Then we pivot into culture and conscience. We break down the viral phrase “Quiet On The Creek” and what it really means when your life is too loud online. After that, the moral dilemma hits: you walk up to an ATM and there’s a bag of cash sitting there. Do you keep it, turn it in, or take a little and hope the cameras didn’t catch it? The story of someone returning a huge bag and getting a $500 reward sparks an honest debate about ethics, survival, and fairness.

The big conversation sits on the trend that won’t go away: “I’m tired of being independent.” We talk independence versus isolation, why refusing help can become an identity, and what a healthy partnership looks like when autonomy still matters. We also sit down with guest Andrea “Miss Jones087,” the admin of Ladies of Charlotte, to hear how she’s building a women’s community in Charlotte focused on respect, meetups, and real support when life gets heavy.

If you rock with real, raw talk, subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review. What’s your definition of independence right now?

SPEAKER_11

SPEAKER_08

SPEAKER_09

That's interesting. I digress. I digress. Okay, well, on that. Well, on that note, we're gonna get the um.

FDA Parasite Scare In Produce

SPEAKER_08

And we are back with the bounce breakdown where I talk about the drama, the news, and this fucked up world we live in. It's fucked up. The world is fucked up.

SPEAKER_14

It is really fucked up.

SPEAKER_10

Alright. So my hot take for the week is gonna shake the table just a little bit. Just a little bit. So I went to do this collab this past week, and I seen a mother helping her son with a business.

SPEAKER_08

And I just want to say, and it does not go for all men to have a business or a brand, because it's very a lot of successful men out here that has a lot of business and brands. But what I am gonna say is that a business or a brand will go a long way when a woman is there by your side supporting it and helping you and stepping in and helping you grow with it.

SPEAKER_11

That is true.

SPEAKER_08

I'm glad because I was about to say that I lied. But yeah, true as fuck. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_10

What you think? What do they have to do with the story? Trying to get what story? The woman with her son. She was saying that because her she she's a woman and she was with her son. Helping, you know, helping her. She was there. Yup, yeah. Yeah. Oh.

SPEAKER_14

That was the moral of the story. Yep.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, moral story is the woman that's gonna be there to help the business grow.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, okay, okay, great.

SPEAKER_10

It was a short story. It wasn't supposed to be a long story. No, I get it. I got you. I got you.

SPEAKER_14

It was like one of those um series where it's like a short, short series. That's what it was. Okay.

SPEAKER_10

Limited series.

SPEAKER_14

Round of applause. Okay, round of applause for that.

SPEAKER_10

Yep. It was a trailer.

SPEAKER_14

Yep, yep, absolutely. 30 seconds.

SPEAKER_10

Y'all are so aggravated.

SPEAKER_14

30 fucking seconds.

SPEAKER_10

I did love it. Okay. I love the part about the woman. Thank you. Okay, yeah. Yeah, that part.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah. We're just agreeing. Yep. Yep.

SPEAKER_10

Whatever, bro. All right. Anyway, let's get to my first breakdown. So, y'all, we can't even eat healthy no more, y'all. They are fucking with the lettuce and the fruits. Yep. Yep. That's crazy. We're not gonna do that. We're not doing that. We're not doing that. Anyway, you're right.

SPEAKER_08

You right. You're right.

SPEAKER_10

I was eating this on the burger. They is fucking with the lettuce and the fruits. They are. So the FDA is currently investigating one of the largest cyclospora outbreak, which is a parasite. Say it again. What is it? I was just about to say we ain't fucking wrong.

SPEAKER_14

Say it again. I'm sorry. Say it again.

SPEAKER_10

But did you practice saying the right words? I did though. You're right. Cyclospora. Cyclospora. Cyclospora. Say it again three times. It don't sound hard. It don't. Cyclospora. Shut the fuck up. No. Cyclospora.

SPEAKER_11

Cyclospora.

SPEAKER_10

You got it. I got fish.

SPEAKER_14

Okay. I got fish. Siri.

SPEAKER_08

Oh, y'all. I'm getting a box fucking nerve.

SPEAKER_10

Anyways, it is a parasite that can contaminate fresh produce and cause symptoms like watery diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite, and dehydration. You said petite.

unknown

What?

SPEAKER_10

Appetite.

SPEAKER_14

I heard it, but I just I wasn't gonna say nothing, guys. Y'all said it for me.

SPEAKER_10

And you call petite? They said you lose weight. They said you lose weight after. I might need to go get that because I need to be petite. Y'all are so aggregated.

SPEAKER_14

Well, we got a parasite that makes people petite? Right.

SPEAKER_10

It does. You need to get that. It kind of does, bro. Oh, I ain't got chicken to pay for a GLP. This girl, she had diarrhea for over 10 days. Shit. And she lost hella weight. So it kind of does make you petite. That sounds about right. Okay, so this might be TMI, but after my birthday, yes, it was about four or five days. I was gone. It was crazy. And I lettuce all my bathing suits are loosey goosey. I didn't have lettuce, but I had fruit.

SPEAKER_14

You were shitting?

SPEAKER_10

Um, I had a fruit tray, so it was like you were shitting? Bad.

SPEAKER_14

That's fucked up. Yeah, lettuce.

SPEAKER_10

I had she just said she had fruit.

SPEAKER_14

I'm sorry, I didn't hear her. I thought you had lettuce. Yeah, lettuce fruit.

SPEAKER_10

Damn.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, fruit lettuce.

SPEAKER_10

We need a hearing aid. Shit. He said you had fruit lettuce. Yeah, fruit lettuce. Yes.

unknown

Fruit lettuce.

SPEAKER_10

All right, but anyways, if y'all didn't know, we knew. Taylor Foreign. Yep. Yep. My bad. I'm gonna shut up. That was the last one. That was the last one. I'm gonna be quiet. You're right. If y'all didn't know, Taylor Farns brand was accused of the outbreak after Lincoln their shredded iceberg lettuce supplied from its central medical operation, had a multi-state outbreak and a recall of for certain lettuce products. However, there was an update that the FDA announced that the original laboratory sample was a false positive. But the investigation is still continuing. Continuing.

SPEAKER_12

Continuing, continuing.

SPEAKER_10

I said that.

SPEAKER_12

Continuing, continuing, continuing.

SPEAKER_10

I just talked fast.

SPEAKER_08

I said it though.

SPEAKER_10

At some point, we're gonna have to stop using it as an excuse. We're gonna have to think of something else. I'll work with you.

SPEAKER_14

That's a great one. Continue on.

SPEAKER_09

Continue on. I heard it. I heard it.

SPEAKER_10

I told y'all she talks in cursive. My friend talks in cursive, okay?

SPEAKER_14

That's fire. That's a fire word, though. I'm about to put on her shirt. Continue on.

SPEAKER_10

Continue on.

SPEAKER_14

Carry on, carry on, carry on.

SPEAKER_10

Because the evidence still points to Taylor Farms, and the exact source of the outbreak has not yet been confirmed. You guys should not eat anything that is Taylor Forms, Earth Bond Farms, Little Salad from Audi, Market Side and Walmart, Kroger House brand, Target private private label greens, Costco salad kits and greens, Trader Joe's chopped salad kits and fresh produce. Y'all know y'all don't stop at Trader Joe's other no pants. Y'all know y'all are gonna talk about some damn, y'all know good goddamn well. Come on now. As far as restaurants, do not eat from McDonald's, Taco Bell, Chipotle, Subway, Pizza Hut, DMC, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and Burger Kingdom. Damn. Please note that even if you wash off those fruits and lettuce, it does not wash off the cycles for a parasite. And my best, my best option to give to everyone is buy from the farmer's market or nope. Nope. They buy their fruit from the same folks. Not really. Some people grow their shit. I'm tired. Alright, go ahead.

SPEAKER_08

Grow your own shit.

SPEAKER_10

Or wait, uh, or just pretend like you don't know shit, because we're not about to act like this ain't been happening for years. It has been. It definitely has. We're not about to sit here and act like it ain't been designed. But now we're getting right, we getting diarrhea and shit. Y'all been getting diarrhea. You just thought you ate something else that was bad and not the fruit and the salad. Buy from your local garden. Yep.

SPEAKER_14

At this point, guys, we just gotta pray. Okay. Just pray we don't die, right?

SPEAKER_09

Everybody gonna die.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, yeah. I don't think prayer is gonna help us with that one. Half the food is genetically playing it. Because I mean the the the the um places that you named, that's like half of the population where they eat at.

SPEAKER_10

Taylor Farms alone sources majority of the vegetables and fruits. They everybody sells, even sprouts, even the place that be like, oh, we're vegan and and organic and fresh whatever the fuck they be saying to the folks.

SPEAKER_14

Taylor Farms.

SPEAKER_10

Yes, they buy the same shit. It don't matter. The grass is dirty too.

SPEAKER_14

Right. I mean, because the Charlotte soil here is different. It's not like in New York soil, it's like it's like clayish.

SPEAKER_10

It is. I don't think that matters. It's like it's like clayish in here. I don't think anything grows in New York. I'm just throwing that out there. I don't think anything. What do you mean? I'm talking about the whole thing.

SPEAKER_09

What you mean? No, nothing grow in New York. I don't know. Yeah, what the fuck you mean?

SPEAKER_10

I'll wait. Huh?

SPEAKER_11

You gotta wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm staying long. We're not talking about there.

SPEAKER_00

They got five up there.

SPEAKER_10

I'm talking about all New York is only but so big. New York is really big. New York is really big. It's like it's like one of the smallest stages. New York is what do you mean? New York is huge as fucking like this. Am I the only one in the picture? Wait, let's give the mic to the audience. Let's take a beat. Let's take a beat. Let's give them the mic. This show's uh no fucking one brother Queens is Queens calls 1.6 to 1.0 alone. That just means it's overpopulated, though.

SPEAKER_09

You're just talking about New York City, you're talking about New York City is small. We're talking about the whole state. The whole state. New place New York is a small part of New York, it's not the whole entire place. You got Long Island got a lot of gardens and shit in Long Island. Hear me out.

SPEAKER_10

Whole bunch of gardens out there now. Hear me out. When the last time y'all looked at a map of the US, it ain't that goddamn big. It is not the smallest state. You you wallet. You right, you right. You right, you wild, you right in New York.

SPEAKER_11

See, that's not New York slam. You wild, son. You right, you right. You wildin' beef. You wallin' be state walling, so wildin' being.

SPEAKER_09

But you gotta understand that people got it even on their balcony.

SPEAKER_10

But one of the little pots and shit. But anybody can go buy a fertilizer. I'm talking about it growing in the ground at New York.

SPEAKER_11

Who think weed was growing from? Go to New York and cross it in New York City. I don't put the trees that get still go to New York to get the weed trees. I don't believe it. I don't believe it.

SPEAKER_09

Okay, so what's the last time you spent to New York City?

SPEAKER_11

Nebby 31st.

SPEAKER_09

Hold on, hold on. Where did you go to New York City? Did you go to somebody's house? Birmingham.

SPEAKER_10

Like, come on. So you came against State and you said Birmingham Birmingham's in New York City?

SPEAKER_11

No.

SPEAKER_10

No, I'm not just saying it's Binghamton, New York, but there's not Birmingham.

SPEAKER_09

No.

SPEAKER_08

But you know, again, this girl from this girl from Virginia.

SPEAKER_14

But you make it. Abbott nigga never seen no seen stories.

SPEAKER_10

Okay, okay, okay. All right, let's get points. Bring it back. Thank you, Seven. Thank you.

SPEAKER_14

Bring it back. She's from VA.

SPEAKER_10

Probably Chesapeake. Virginia's not racist. Oh, you know what?

SPEAKER_09

Really? You wallin' B. Oh, my cousin. Say it again. You wallin, B. Yeah, yeah. Wallin' B. Wallin, son. Yeah. There we go. Alright, come on. Let's get back on track.

SPEAKER_10

Anyway. Right, finish with your topic.

SPEAKER_14

It makes sense why uh just wanna. Fuck out of here, son.

SPEAKER_10

Right. Shit, they got rats in Charlotte now.

SPEAKER_14

Big rats.

SPEAKER_11

They literally have rats everywhere. Back on track, back on track. We're gonna talk about rats. Everywhere.

Quiet On The Creek Explained

SPEAKER_10

So I'm back with but I'm back with giving the meaning of slangs that people are still confused about. The slang, you gotta be quiet on a creek. Now y'all know clear it up.

SPEAKER_09

Oh sorry, it's too hot for you.

SPEAKER_10

Now y'all know Carry on. Carry on sounding like Beyonce. Carry on.

SPEAKER_08

What's that sweet shit? Goddamn dishwasher.

SPEAKER_10

What? You fucked him right so bad.

SPEAKER_14

That was bad. That was that was real bad. Real bad.

unknown

Yo, look at that.

SPEAKER_10

Go ahead, go ahead. Okay, my bad. Yo, my bad, my bad, my bad. It's his punch now. It's his punch.

SPEAKER_14

Oh, no memory punch.

SPEAKER_10

But anyways, I'm back with giving the meaning of a slang that people are still confused about, which is the slang you gotta be quiet on a creek. Now y'all know I ain't gonna be quiet on a creek. I'm gonna help y'all out. Alright. So the phrase came from Saucy Santana, which was a story from one of his live streams about when he went fishing as a kid.

SPEAKER_02

He good. What y'all gave my nigga? What shall I gave him? I was about to say I'm smoking spice.

SPEAKER_14

Nah, I thought you were blowing kisses at me, nigga. I was like, what the fuck is wrong with this?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you smoking spice. You definitely smoking. My bad. I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_10

Oh my god. I'm sorry, but I don't know what spice is. I smoke gas. But okay.

SPEAKER_02

I was going.

SPEAKER_10

Back to the topic. Come on, well back on. Well back in.

SPEAKER_08

Anyways, the sling. I'm um the sling Quiet on the Creek came from Saucy Santana, which was a story from one of his live streams.

SPEAKER_02

Oh boy. Saucy Santa. Sauce. He got put out of streaming you.

SPEAKER_08

Anyways, about when he went fishing as a kid and he had to stay, he had to stay quiet on a creek so he wouldn't scare the fish away. Which was just a little a little fishing tip.

SPEAKER_10

A fishing tip. He made a song about the store announcing on the song. I used to go fishing as a little girl. You gotta be quiet on a creek. Shh, quiet on the creek. Yeah, don't say quiet. No, because you know they be calling the people that's gay a fish. So I feel like he's going fishing because they fish. That's good.

SPEAKER_02

That's a good correlation.

SPEAKER_10

You gotta be quiet on a creek and you went fishing. Like, I don't know. So the song dropped on July 17th. And social media has um, they've been they done ran with it, all right? So being quiet on a creek now means to keep it low-key. Don't tell everybody your business, move in silence, and don't be talking too much and start telling other people your business. So if you don't know what quiet on a creek is, is bitch, you too loud. Shut the fuck up.

SPEAKER_09

Shut the fuck up.

SPEAKER_10

That's what it means.

SPEAKER_09

Okay, quiet on the creek.

SPEAKER_08

Quiet on the creek.

SPEAKER_10

You're talking too loud.

SPEAKER_14

We had it's the birthday or you the birthday now it's quiet on the creek. Okay.

SPEAKER_10

Quiet on the creek. Anyways, this might go up on TikTok.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, it's gonna go up on TikTok.

SPEAKER_10

Everybody trying to figure out what it means. Fuck that. Yeah, quiet on the creek. Yeah, I guess you could say it to a girl, like, bitch, quiet on the creek, but I don't know.

SPEAKER_14

You know what? Listen, we gotta come up with our own shit. Cause niggas is coming up with shit. Nobody's gonna come up with our own, uh, our our own shot.

SPEAKER_09

Niggas just gonna be like, girl, shut the fuck up. You're too loud. No worries.

SPEAKER_08

Shut up.

Blind Man Sold A Car Debate

SPEAKER_08

But all right, so I got another story, y'all. It's another story. It's true though. Shoot. So this one is unbelievable.

SPEAKER_10

A Georgia family is wanting answers after a 74-year-old man, Thomas Johnson.

SPEAKER_00

Huh?

SPEAKER_08

Oh no, girl.

SPEAKER_10

Okay, I'm sorry, who is legally blind and has documented disabilities. Legally blind. I cannot see.

SPEAKER_14

See, see, Lex started it now. She next started. Lex started it. She did it.

SPEAKER_10

She oh, she has one because we've been going. All right. But he purchased a used 2013 Mini Cooper from a Heritage Volkswagen dealership in Union City.

SPEAKER_14

He was blind?

SPEAKER_10

I just said that.

SPEAKER_14

And he purchased a car?

SPEAKER_08

Let me get to it. Okay. According to his sister, Darlene Johnson says that Thomas saved $15,000 in cash over many years and paid $14,100 for the vehicle because he believed he could drive again.

SPEAKER_10

So Thomas, again, is legally blind. Okay? He's blind.

SPEAKER_14

Well, well, well, well, one eye. Okay, okay, they're about to say.

SPEAKER_10

But the other, he sees only shadows.

SPEAKER_14

Nigga sees ghosts.

SPEAKER_10

So the salesman at the dealership sold Thomas the car and drove him home because he wasn't able to drive himself.

SPEAKER_08

The salesman, Clay Johnson, seemed coherent. Coherent. Coherent.

SPEAKER_02

I ain't admitted that. I ain't admitted that.

SPEAKER_14

14,000. Right. 14,006.

SPEAKER_10

And then he told him that he could see better with glasses. Attorneys say that the sales, the sale was very legal because Thomas still had a Georgia driver's license, which he renewed in 2021. Thomas later attempted to practice driving his apartment competence parking lot before being stopped by the property manager. Heritage Volkswagen has since increased its buyback offer to $6,500. So they're selling the car back. To the Volkswagen. To the Volkswagen. Thomas says he doesn't blame anyone and admits he made a mistake. And I just want to know how are you blind and you're trying to go get a car? And then the salesman was wrong because he ain't making it no better. Because you ain't, it just gives that he wasn't getting no sales, and he sent a blind man and he just took advantage of that nigga.

SPEAKER_14

Listen, let me tell you, I used to work in car sales. If I would have sold that blind motherfucker, you damn skip, I'm selling nigga a car. That's an easy lick. Like, yo, yo, you need a car, get a car. Listen, what color is it? It's black, nigga. I need a blue. Yeah, it's blue, nigga. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Get in the car, motherfucker. Let's drive this to taste drive. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, soon as he started down that line, nigga, that's out of my hands. I probably give myself. Telling the sale.

SPEAKER_02

Tell them a cabinet. Tell them it's a labbo.

SPEAKER_14

Put the AC on, nigga. You feel it, you feel a breeze.

SPEAKER_00

That's it.

SPEAKER_10

Like you hear that? You hear that?

SPEAKER_14

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Listen. There's no disrespect to the visually impaired. I love you guys. But y'all motherfuckers cannot be going out and trying to buy no cars. You had no business. I can't do that. Y'all can't do that. You got no business.

SPEAKER_02

I can't do that.

SPEAKER_14

No business buying no cars.

SPEAKER_02

They've been trying to fuck that nigga pockets up.

SPEAKER_14

No, you know what would be dope, though? If it's like, you know, like you know how you read the books and they got the braille and shit. One if it's like a braille dashboard and just control the car.

SPEAKER_10

But it wasn't. But it wasn't. Well, it was a 2014. That'd be tough, though. Mini Cooper Volkswagen type shit.

SPEAKER_14

Oh, is it mini Cooper? Those shit's fast as fuck.

SPEAKER_10

He paid 14K for that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

He ain't got no payments.

SPEAKER_14

How much money? But we don't know.

SPEAKER_10

How much he spent for real? Shit. He probably don't know how he's spent.

SPEAKER_14

Sign us by the line, sir. 14,000. 14K. That's the government money anyway.

SPEAKER_09

He thought he could try to keep this.

SPEAKER_14

That's wow. I really know the way that's wild. Where was his daughter? That's a that's a that's that's a wild fucking story right there. Yeah, that's wild.

SPEAKER_08

That's it for the bounce breakdown.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, two things, eh?

SPEAKER_10

It was it was so much more shit going on in the world, Destiny. I cannot believe we just spent a whole two minutes on quiet on the green. Well, I'm gonna talk about your shit. You do though to be black. You do though. She said she don't like her capuches. Her skin for cutches. She didn't say that. She stopped herself. She said that don't sound like saying I should really Okay, what would you do? I'm taking it. I do.

SPEAKER_14

Okay.

SPEAKER_10

Turn turn the soundboard down just a little bit. Just a time.

SPEAKER_14

That's your ending. Oh, my bad. That wasn't your ending. My bad. I'm sorry. I thought that.

SPEAKER_10

Shut the fuck up for that shit.

SPEAKER_14

I s I saw the uh purple and I thought it was your purple.

SPEAKER_10

Come on. You're right, we haven't done.

SPEAKER_11

So before I get into my wheel, uh put the award ceremony.

SPEAKER_14

I gotta put them on black.

SPEAKER_11

Uh uh.

SPEAKER_14

And a war ceremony organization. So somebody sent me uh um a link. I'm gonna make this brief. Somebody sent me a link and was like, yo, yes, I am. Shut up. Somebody sent me a link and was like, yo, y'all should apply. I was like, okay, let me go apply. So before I apply, I want to do my due diligence. I did my due diligence, and this place, this organization is called a signal award. I'm trying. Fuck y'all niggas for charging $800, $200, $500 for submissions. That's nasty work. Fuck y'all niggas. Oh, wow. Okay.

SPEAKER_10

I don't even know who you said.

SPEAKER_14

The signal awards.

SPEAKER_10

The signal. What they awarding?

SPEAKER_14

They awarding podcasters, right? So they see. I didn't want to break it down too much. But I mean, you would need details. Okay, a little bit of details. This award organization has been around for about three or five years. And what they do is they give awards to podcasters. They break it down into podcasts or episodes, shows. It's different categories. So you can submit based on the category that you want to submit to. Whether you want to submit to podcasts, whether you want to submit an episode or what have you. But there's different tiers of pricing that they offer. You got gold package, standard package, flat, whatever the fucking package is for you to submit as a talent so they could review it and pick. If I gotta pay my money, what are you reviewing? What what what are you you not no, no? Signal awards. Fuck you. Fuck you. All right, yeah. So that was my how to get off my chest. They saw my story too. Uh uh. Yeah, fuck y'all to get it. Yeah. So what would you do? What would you do?

unknown

That was a module.

SPEAKER_14

No, that was my what you do. I had to get off get that off my chest. Oh, so the what would you do got something to do with the fuck you? No, no, no, no. That was how to get that off my chest. I wouldn't pay the 800. Just so we that could be clipped, so I could clip that and and tag. I'm sure, I'm sure, yeah. Okay, so what would you do?

Bag Of Cash At The ATM

SPEAKER_14

So my old you do's are always accounts that has been through me, something that I saw, or something that somebody told me. So this account, it was something that I saw. So what would you do? What would you do if you're casually driving and you're like, shit? Maybe you're going out somewhere, or you just need some money. You know, you gotta go to the ATM, you need some money. You driving, uh, you go to the nearest ATM. You know, you get off your car, get off the car, check the car, take a car, walk to the ATM. What would you do? You walk to the ATM and it's a bag. Next to the ATM, a bag. Okay, you're being inquisitive. You want to see the baggies. You open the bag, and I'm just gonna put an amount on it. Say there's a hundred thousand dollars in the bag. You don't know the amount, but let's just say the amount is a hundred thousand dollars in the bag next to the ATM. Stop. What would you do?

SPEAKER_10

This sounds a little familiar.

SPEAKER_07

Anyone can answer. Anybody can answer it.

SPEAKER_10

It's giving deja vu.

SPEAKER_07

Okay, giving that bag is either gonna I'm gonna go. I'm gonna pick up that bag. The ATM is at a bank, right?

SPEAKER_14

You had no, there's a random ATM. You drive in ATM.

SPEAKER_07

I assume it's gonna be a camera.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, there's cameras all over these ATMs.

SPEAKER_07

I probably might just leave that there because they're going to probably do face recognition and come and pick my ass up. I will want the money because of course I'm broke as fuck, so I'm gonna need that bread. But financially challenged. But I'm gonna want that money. But realistically, it's a camera right there, it's gonna watch me, they're gonna track me down, and I'm gonna have to give it up eventually. So that's no need of wasting my time. It might just stay right there, and I'm gonna just ignore it. So we got some comments in the chat.

SPEAKER_10

Um Belle said her and CEO twinning, number one. Who? Belle. She also said that she that money good is gone. She said she's gonna take it.

SPEAKER_14

Wanna take it? They're gonna come back. So Belle says she's gonna take it.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah. What would you do? My other homegirl said she's talking real shit though, for real. Okay. I mean, I took the camera into consideration, but I would just pay a young whippersnapper on the block ten dollars to go grab the bag. That's a crackhead.

SPEAKER_14

I ain't no young whippersnapper.

SPEAKER_02

No, just walk back. Just keep walking. No, y'all gonna walk in Lake. Don't even look down.

SPEAKER_10

Y'all don't have to pay too much. Don't even look down. Y'all don't have to. So you're saying the bag is there, and then you have the option you could take the whole bag.

SPEAKER_14

The bag is going, you go on to the ATM and there's a bag there.

SPEAKER_10

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_14

And you don't know the amount, but I'm just saying there's $100,000 in the bag.

SPEAKER_10

Hell no. Don't open the bag. I don't get walk. I'm taking the bag.

SPEAKER_02

I'm picking up the bag.

SPEAKER_09

I'm gonna take some off the top and I'm gonna keep it moving. I'm picking up the bag.

SPEAKER_02

I'm walking to the nearest dumpster.

SPEAKER_09

Let me tell you why.

SPEAKER_02

I'm taking it if there's a hundred K in there. Oh, go ahead. Let me tell you why.

SPEAKER_10

Because my aunt growing up, my aunt was a lot of my family was boosters. And she would go and she would basically just take the cash and leave the whole wallet. So it's the thing. You ain't gonna realize your money is missing, but you're gonna realize if your whole wallet is missing. The same with the money. You probably gonna see the bag still there.

SPEAKER_02

That bag gonna be flat as hell.

SPEAKER_10

Thank you. I'm taking some of this. About the time you realize, bitch, I'm gone. Fuck you.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gone. I'm taking the bag to the dance dumpster. I'm taking the bag to the dance dumpster. I'm taking at least 20k, 30k out. I ain't gonna be greedy. I'm leaving the bag in the dumpster. In the dumpster. I'm not opening the bag on camera though.

SPEAKER_14

Now again, we don't know them. We don't know how much is in the litter. I just said 100,000.

SPEAKER_02

If the police come back to me, like we saw you with the bag on camera. Oh, I threw that shit in the trash. I ain't even looking at it I just seen litter on the floor. I threw it in the trash.

SPEAKER_14

Litter on the floor. You think a nigga won't believe you that you took the money from the eight times and walked all the way to the trash cans and throw it in the trash? You just left it in. I ain't looking at it. Nigga's not gonna believe you. You ain't got me on camera looking at you. Who else? Who else? Let's hit it for the live studio audience. What would y'all do? The nigga with the pool. Dang. Anyway, if it's a clothes bag.

SPEAKER_13

If it's a clothes bag, I'm not even touching that. I don't know what the hell's in that bag. Uh-huh. Now, if it's open though, and I could peek in there and I see something.

SPEAKER_14

Okay, for shits and giggles, the bag is open. And you know it's money in the bag. The bag is open. You know it's money in there.

SPEAKER_13

Oh, yeah. That that bag going on the ride. That bag going on the ride.

SPEAKER_14

Going on the ride? Okay. Who else? Anybody else want to chime in? No? No? We good? Everybody good? Huh?

SPEAKER_10

You wanna ignore it?

SPEAKER_14

Who else? Flea?

SPEAKER_10

My boy Blea. What are you gonna do, Flea? Flea with the knees.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I'm not. It's on.

SPEAKER_14

We hear you, Flea.

SPEAKER_06

I'm not gonna lie. I'ma look around. I'm like so much shit be going on on YouTube now. Somebody might be trying to play a trick. If the bag is closed, no, the bag is open.

SPEAKER_14

The bag is open. Say the bag is open.

SPEAKER_06

Alright, so if I see the cash, I'm gonna look around. Like, nah, something gotta be up. Shit be too good to be true. Like how Jazz said, like, I'm probably gonna take like a little stack of two poo-poo, get up out of there.

SPEAKER_14

Okay. Take a stack of two, get up out of it. So the general consensus seems okay, Lex.

SPEAKER_10

Wait, I have I have one. It says uh I will walk up to the ATM, put my bag down, handle my ATM business, then pick both bags up and walk away.

SPEAKER_02

That's funny as shit. That's what you did with that sandwich.

SPEAKER_11

Yo, shut the fuck up.

SPEAKER_14

That was classic. I ain't gonna front. Got the footage. Five dollar foot law. That was wow. That was wild. That was too much.

SPEAKER_00

That was a good one.

SPEAKER_14

You gotta give this that. You gotta give that. That was a good one. That was a good one. Alright. Anybody done? Anybody done? Anybody done? No more? Nobody nobody else? Okay, so it seems like the general consensus, it seems like they will take the money, whichever way, how they would take the money and get the fuck up out of there. So this will happen. So a little Spanish king, right? Found the money. Right? I think he was he looked like he was about 16 years old, 15, 16 years old. Found the money. And he reported it to the to the to the authorities. So when he reported it to the authorities, did he get finders feed? Hold on. When he reported it to the authorities, they thank you. You know, because I guess you know how they fill the ATMs with the brinks and all that. They accidentally left the bag out there and filling the ATM, then left the bag there. So he turned it in. So his reward, it was like, it was more than $100,000. I'll just put it, it was more than $100,000, guys. His reward was five hundred dollars for finding the motherfucking bag of thousands of dollars. They gave him five hundred dollars a check.

SPEAKER_00

And he he's smiling like he was happy as hell.

SPEAKER_14

Happy as hell for that $500. But you know, he was Spanish, Mexican. Maybe they maybe they needed that money. I don't know. But he was happy for $500. So that's what happened.

SPEAKER_09

Good for him.

SPEAKER_14

That's what happened. Yeah. What would you give? We found a bag full of money and send an ITM. Pick it up.

SPEAKER_10

Would you turn it in or would you keep it? These were made by my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great. Yes, it's a family heirloom.

SPEAKER_14

Maybe he was taking that too.

SPEAKER_10

I'm taking it enough of my hands could fit.

SPEAKER_14

But he got $500 out of the deal.

SPEAKER_10

I mean, it it was it sounded like it sounded like he got played, but you know.

SPEAKER_14

He did. He did.

SPEAKER_10

$500.

SPEAKER_14

Give me $500. I done found thousands of thousands of dollars. Give me $500, nigga. At least give me a thousand. At least give me a thousand. At least give me a thousand for finding thousands. You give me five hundred for finding thousands. The fuck out of here. Huh?

SPEAKER_10

I ain't questioning you.

SPEAKER_14

Some what?

SPEAKER_10

It's disrespectful.

SPEAKER_14

Disrespectful. Highly, highly disrespectful.

SPEAKER_10

But maybe they felt like they got something. You got something like thank you.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, minor two. I would have went to jail. He said the same thing. Bread for real. Kept the bread, right?

SPEAKER_10

I would have definitely had to just go to jail.

SPEAKER_14

And been out and been up thousands.

SPEAKER_05

If it's close to an M in that bag, if it's close to a telling me, right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I'm going to see it.

SPEAKER_05

If it ain't that much money, I'm going to take my 500. This ain't the mob bag or some random bag. It's a bringing bag.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's a bringing bag. That'd be good.

SPEAKER_05

But knowing better, like shit like this.

SPEAKER_14

But you know what's crazy about that?

SPEAKER_05

I'm gonna go to jail for a year and I'm gonna come out and goddamn be up. Got them 400,000.

SPEAKER_14

Like stupid.

SPEAKER_05

And they don't say that.

SPEAKER_14

You know what's crazy about that $500? None of them gonna tax that shit. Oh damn.

SPEAKER_05

They're gonna tax that $59. This is my funny now. Yeah, bro. Hey, yo.

SPEAKER_14

All right, so that's my boy.

SPEAKER_10

Thank you for your contribution, CEO. A white quiet on the creek. Oh shit. It don't matter. It applies. It applies. I know how to use my contract.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, y'all remember. Yeah, I love it. I love it. Y'all fucking remember. I don't.

SPEAKER_10

Um try home, lame ass. Hello, everybody.

Independence Versus Isolation

SPEAKER_10

He lost. My name is Lex Rated. Wide of the Creek. Please. And this is triggered, bitches. I'm so sorry. Uh it's been a while since we seen each other, and it's okay. Because I'm still gonna have y'all triggered tonight. Because we're gonna be talking we're gonna be talking about something that's all over the internet.

SPEAKER_05

Uh oh.

SPEAKER_10

I don't know if you noticed, but right now there's a trend online of women saying, I'm tired of being independent. I don't want to be strong anymore. You got that shit from Kay. I want somebody to take care of me. Now hold on. Because I might have got it from Kay, but it don't matter, it still applies. I love that too. Um weren't we just telling everybody that we don't need a man? We don't.

SPEAKER_02

So what changed? It's been going off about five years though. I've been seeing this. It's been really like really on it right now.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, yeah, yeah. They they really don't want to do nothing. They really don't want to do nothing.

SPEAKER_02

They got enough people to sign a petition for now.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's exactly what it's like.

SPEAKER_02

They're trying to make it a fucking law.

SPEAKER_10

So were we sold a dream that sounds good until the bills came become due? Or has nothing changed and we're truly tired of having to do everything ourselves? So for years, being independent wasn't encouraged. It was marketed. Listen.

SPEAKER_14

Yo, uh, before you go, I'll be watching the clips. Yo, this nigga faces me.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, he gets on my nerves.

SPEAKER_02

Do they get he get it? I'd be so interested. His faces be wild. I'd be in because I can't talk. I don't have to get through it. Yeah, my faces speak.

SPEAKER_10

Let me let me finish. Let me finish. I got you. I got you.

SPEAKER_02

Let her cook, let her cook.

SPEAKER_10

It wasn't encouraged, or at least in my opinion, it wasn't encouraged. You know, everybody said they are independent, but it wasn't like it was a thing that everybody was doing. You got the independent woman, and then you got the soft girls. It was split up. But then there's also a small subset where people and women specifically were saying they don't need anybody, they got their own money, they got their own house, they got their own bills, and they don't really want the help of a man. Because if they did want the help of the man, they would be looked at as needy, clingy, weak, dependent. And y'all loud as fuck. And it makes you question did women choose this or was it forced upon us? So now before anybody clips this and says that I uh have an issue with women. She got an issue with men, black people. She got fuck fuck everybody who ain't me. That's what it is. That should we that should be what it is for everybody, unless you got kids. That was another bar. I'm rapping. She swears she's gonna be able to do it. Anyways, quiet on the creek. I'm not I'm not saying women shouldn't have careers, I'm not saying women shouldn't have money. I'm just asking something a little bit different this time. When did independence become synonymous with isolation? Why do you have to be independent and be by yourself? Because those two things aren't the same. Being capable doesn't mean you have to do everything alone.

SPEAKER_14

Too much smoke.

SPEAKER_10

Let's talk about Kevin Samuels, RIP my man. Hey, RP Kevin Samuels. That was the goat.

SPEAKER_14

That was the goat.

SPEAKER_10

I miss him. Um, whether you agreed with him or you hated him, one thing he did was force people to answer uncomfortable questions. He kept asking women, what do you actually bring to the table? Facts.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_10

Not because every answer was right, but because people weren't using or weren't used to having their expectations challenged. I've watched quite a few videos where a woman, and it ain't nothing wrong with this before I say what I say, because somebody's gonna feel hit. A woman would have five kids, but want her man to have no kids, or maybe one or two uh have a job, be able to take care of her and her five kids. So be able to feed what is it, eight people? That's a lot of people.

SPEAKER_14

That's a lot of motherfuckers.

SPEAKER_10

That's a lot of people.

SPEAKER_14

That EBT better be kicking.

SPEAKER_10

So a lot of a lot of people dismiss what Kevin had to say, but a lot of folks were actually listening. So years later, you scroll down social media and you hear women saying, I don't want to do this by myself anymore. And I feel like that topic is worth talking about, not because a person won the argument or is uh a right or a wrong side to be on this argument, but because the conversation clearly did not end when he passed away. So here's here's what I think happened. I think some women were told that needing a partner partner meant you were failing. So they learned to survive on their own. Then survival became their personality. But surviving and being happy, they aren't always the same thing. There's a huge difference between saying, I can do it by myself and I want to do it by myself forever. And here's the part that nobody really likes to hear. Sometimes we confuse independence with refusing help. If somebody offers to carry your groceries, that doesn't mean that they think that you're incapable of carrying your groceries yourself. If your partner wants to pay for your dinner or or um wants to go with you to buy your new car. That doesn't mean that he's trying to control you and what you spend your money on.

SPEAKER_14

Ah, control.

SPEAKER_10

Realistically, no matter what the example is, if somebody wants to protect or provide, that doesn't automatically mean that they think you're incapable of doing it yourself. That's exactly what I mean. Sometimes it just is what it is. And sometimes it's just people caring for you or about you.

SPEAKER_14

Facts.

SPEAKER_10

Now, before anybody gets in their feelings, I'm not triggered about this one at all. You might be after this one. Um this isn't just about women. Men do the exact same thing. A lot of men say they want a woman who's independent, but what do they really want? What they really mean is I want you to pay your own bills until mine get low. I want you to have a career, but don't let it come before me. I want you to be ambitious, just don't earn more than me. I want you to be confident, but don't be out here making me feel like I'm replaceable.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

So what do you actually want? Do you want an independent woman? Or do you want a woman who only is independent when it benefits you? Because again, there's a difference in those two conversations. A lot of people don't want a partner, they want somebody who is self-efficient, self-efficient enough to be low maintenance, but dependent enough to make them feel noticed and wanted and needed. So let me just wait, I'm not done. Hold all comments to the end.

SPEAKER_14

Sorry. I'm gonna let it finish. Let you cook, let you cook.

SPEAKER_10

Thank you. Here's what I think a lot of people miss when discussing independence. This isn't just about control, manipulation, or money. This is about identity. For years, women were told, don't depend on anybody, never need a man. If you rely on someone, you're weak. After hearing that message over and over again, it stops being advice and it becomes who you think you are. Psychologists call this identity and cognitive dissonance. I've used cognitive dissonance like several times in my segments. Cognitive dissonance, dissonance, for those who did not pay attention, occurs, you'll never know. Occurs when your beliefs and your reality stop aligning. So imagine spending years saying, I don't need anybody, but deep down inside, you're actually wanting a partnership. You want somebody to help you carry the load. Now, this is when your brain creates a problem because the person you want to be doesn't match what you actually feel. And that becomes uncomfortable. So, what do people do? Some of us double down, some of us change our minds, and now you're seeing thousands of women online saying, I don't want to be independent, I'm tired of being independent, I'm tired of being strong. That doesn't automatically mean they were lying before when they said they didn't need a man for anything. It might mean they finally gave themselves permission to admit what they wanted all along. Here's the part that's interesting for me. Research shows that people naturally want autonomy and connection. Psychologists call this self-determination theory. It says human beings thrive when the uh they have three basic psychological needs. And when those needs are met, autonomy is feeling like you have control over your own life, competence, feeling capable, and then relatedness, feeling connected to the other person. You notice something it's a little pattern with those three things. The goal was never to become independent, at least not so independent that you don't need anyone. The goal was to have a choice. Maybe that's where we got things fucked up because maybe independence was supposed to give people options, not convince them that they had to live alone and do everything by themselves. For me, there's a difference between I don't need you and I know I'll be okay if you leave. One is insecurity, dressed up as strength, and the other one is confidence. So I'll close triggered out with this one final question, family. Are you independent because you wanna be? Or are you independent because you thought that or you were taught that needing people was something to be ashamed of?

Relationships And Asking For Help

SPEAKER_14

Well, I before I lose my train of thought.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, go ahead and get your leg out.

SPEAKER_14

I can get my shit out. It was something that you said prior your ending, and I wanted to chime in on. I think for men, right? And I'm well, I'm not gonna say for men, I'm gonna say in my perspective. Like I like when uh uh when the mother uh is like, say there's no father father figure in the in the picture, and the mother is raising the boys, right? Yes, the boys generally seek women that are like a mother. So if the woman doesn't have no characteristics or no traits or nothing that seems like from their mother, then I fuck with him. And it's gonna be disastrous from the start.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, but there's also the opposite side of that, where the man sees his mother uh struggling and and maybe doing some things that she might not need to be doing, and he looks at his mother as a woman he doesn't want because of her trust.

SPEAKER_14

I wasn't talking about that shit.

SPEAKER_10

No, that's what I'm saying. Women, women, I mean, children raised by their mother, or men specifically raised by their mother, don't always seek women that are like their mother. There's a very small group of men that don't like their mother. That's true. Just because how she raised them. And then, granted, I spoke about it before, a lot of parents are just doing the best that they can.

SPEAKER_14

Yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_10

So you're you're teaching them what you know or what you've learned over the years so that they could use it and do what they will with it. The same thing was taught with independence.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_10

My father has been calling me independent since I was six years old. To the point where it was very hard for me to ask for stuff. I open the door for men. Not saying that has anything to do with my independence, but like, I don't know. I just like doing it. It makes them uncomfortable.

SPEAKER_14

But you know what's crazy? I think I'm just gonna say this, right? I think for every relationship, or if you're thinking about getting a relationship, I think the first question you should ask the significant other is how was your relationship with your parents? Like, what was your upbringing? Because that's gonna tell you a lot about the person mentally, uh-huh. All of that. That's gonna tell you a lot.

SPEAKER_02

I think the first question women should ask that nigga is do you beat bitches? That need to be the first.

SPEAKER_10

That's a good question. That's a good question. I don't really care if you take dick.

SPEAKER_02

I don't really care if you take bitches. Do you beat a female? Y'all need to ask the niggas that y'all don't ask.

SPEAKER_14

Y'all asked, but that's not a that's not a question a nigga's gonna truthfully.

SPEAKER_02

But you gotta look at the nigga reaction.

SPEAKER_14

You gotta check a nigga's body, like his but see, if you ask a question about the parents, you would get that out of them. You're like, you know, you know how my mom's and they were always fighting abusive. Then you should know right there. Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

You ain't never seen Anton Fisher protective. You might be overprotective. You ain't never seen Anton Fisher. I seen it. It's one of my favorites.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, it gives you the it gives you an idea. What's the comments?

SPEAKER_10

One person says, Um, I've noticed men who do love and honor their mothers sometimes have an unhealthy comparison, but that also can go both ways. So communication is key. She said, I did ask my man ex-girlfriend if he ever hit her, and she was like, No, he walks away and will ignore you. And that's exactly what I saw six years later.

SPEAKER_14

Okay.

SPEAKER_10

So sometimes I guess patterns will play a part, but it's not always. I don't think just because a man had a tr a tumultuous relationship with his parent, yes, there might be some shit in there, but it's all about how you recoup, and that means like going to therapy and looking into yourself and stuff, just depending on where you are in your life, basically. You know, because you can you can heal from things, so everyone's not always what they've been through. Yeah, sure. Can I don't know how we got here, but um it wasn't part of the it's just uh my bad. I threw that it's all right to add that shit in. It's all right. I thought you were gonna talk about how men uh really don't want independent women.

SPEAKER_14

Who I mean that's but that's seeing it depends on the type of man, you know. Because now go ahead. I'm just saying, in my prior, I had a woman that was making buco money. I didn't care. I thought it was booko. You ain't care. I think you know why? Because that's my money too. Yeah, that's my money. Yeah, so you the more you make, the more we make. Right, yeah, you know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, but other niggas won't like don't take it like that. No, I got I got I'm gonna make it. I love it. All right, nah, nigga. I would love to be doing your thing. Support that girl, support that woman. Go ahead, babe, get that money. Because you know, at the end of the day, it's both of our bread. You win, I win.

SPEAKER_02

I love it a bit of a women. I would love to be a staff dad.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, but you you you you made a little uh comment or statement, or you felt a little bit hit when I brought up the uh the looking good, but not making me feel like I can be replaced.

SPEAKER_14

That part, because some women's ideologies, right? They feel like if they are in that position, they feel like, well, this nigga, I gotta find me a high-priced nigga that's gonna be on my level. So that goes to that point. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_10

Thank you. I I that's why I was trying to get you to go. Because I recently was on a TikTok streak, and there was a young lady who was taken to Singapore. Uh, she was taken to Singapore by a boy that she said she dated years before, and it didn't work out, but some reason she decided to go out of the country with this man, and um, he left her ass in Singapore because she wanted to take a phone call outside of the room. Now, hear me out. She said she was independent, and hear me out times two. She said she had two jobs and she made good money, but hear me out times three. Why did a man have to purchase her flight home as well as pay for her hotel room while she stayed in Singapore?

SPEAKER_14

Because she's fronting.

SPEAKER_10

That's the type of independence that bothers me. Because you're independent until you do not want to pay for being independent, you're independent until it's no longer convenient or or or uh uh or or valuable to you as an individual. Shout out to my whole point I'm making it. Shout out to K. Yeah. Shout out to my best friend. Women are independent until it's time to be independent. I don't know. I don't I don't fully agree. Who the fuck is gonna be? Are situational, but when I think about it, it's just like independence. What is independence to you? Like, what is your definition of that? Paying for every single thing in your life when you go on a date, the person can't take you out when you want to.

SPEAKER_02

Just be enabled that, just being able to take it.

SPEAKER_10

Like, I'm trying to understand what the actual definition is. Because for me, I would say independence is paying for your needs, your rent, your bills, your car. They're not they're not obligated to do any of that. But when it comes to the extra stuff, like, yeah, if I want you to pay for my flight, maybe I did have some money in the bank, but I don't remember exactly the story. But I think the girl you're talking about was married. So why the fuck wouldn't my person spend the money on me to get me home? I don't think she was married. Oh, well. She said one was the ex-boyfriend and one was somebody she was talking to. Maybe not. But either still, it's just like, I don't know. Like, that's not saying you're not independent. Like, you don't you don't know what bills she bills are? You're right. But to answer your question, what that means. Y'all can't spell.

SPEAKER_08

Oh, that's not how you spell it.

SPEAKER_10

We'll never know. All right, so some of did he offer, did he offer to pay for her to get clip? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I'm sure she I'm sure she did some convincing. Because okay, the reason why I brought that up is because independence for me, um, I don't gotta try five. It's just being able to get yourself out of situations. So I don't I don't think what she did was wrong per se, but I think it was also a contradiction to say you were independent and then run and ask somebody else for help. Now, granted, that might be the solution that some people have. Like, I'm going to ask these people for help because I know that they will help me and they have the means to help me. I understand that. And maybe it was how I was raised because, like I said, my father raised me to be independent. Asking somebody else for help is the very last resort for me. Me as fuck. I will I will figure it out and work it out and do whatever I need to do to get what I need at the end of the day. I gotta struggle. So, how do you feel like that? Do you know if that was her last resort?

unknown

I'm gonna ask.

SPEAKER_10

I don't know. I don't know. I didn't get that far on the TikTok streaks. I didn't. I didn't. They very well could have. And and and listen, if I had somebody that would buy me a plane home from Singapore, like a 24- Are you a plane home? I mean, no, a flight home. A G5, G6. Both of them, both of them, both of them. I could do the plane home too. If I had somebody that could spend me that type of money or or spend that type of money on me, send me that type of money to pay for my hotel for a week. I I would love that. But the type of woman that I am, I have not attracted people that are willing to just throw money at me.

SPEAKER_08

Why? Yeah, you will.

SPEAKER_10

Because I don't I don't know. That's a good question.

SPEAKER_07

Because I'm gonna chime in on the independence thing. I'm gonna be for being independence. I'm all for that. But sometimes you do get tired because you're tired of paying all these bills, you're tired of taking for all these kids. You're left with the straight burden of being a single mother because dads get to go, mothers gotta stay. You're right. So you get tired. But don't become a burden on somebody else. You understand? Because I can ask for your money because I need your money. You understand? I don't need your money, but I need to know that you can give it to me if I ask for it. And the same thing that you should expect if you ask me is called reciprocating. It's not being I I want to be independent. I want to be able to take care of my kids, do for myself, pay for this, pay for that, pay for that. But when I ask, I want it. And I don't mean I'm asking because I feel like I'm entitled, but I feel like I need the help because I am fucking tired. And if I gotta come out of my mouth to ask you, it's because I genuinely don't have and I need. So with that being said, I'm gonna ask.

SPEAKER_14

Listen, whatever nigga, nigga, nigga, you watching this, whoever she told you to, nigga, get on your shoes.

SPEAKER_07

Don't become a burden. That's for man and woman.

SPEAKER_10

She, it's one thing you she did say she didn't need the money, though. She said she didn't need the money, she just didn't want to spend her money. So I agree with you. Don't be a burden.

SPEAKER_07

Burden, don't be a burden. Me, sometimes I will have the money. I just don't want to buy, get my nails done, because I'm tired of getting, I'm tired of using my money. So I'm going to ask him. Use a map, use a mic, eh? I'm going to ask somebody else. Hey, can you sponsor my nails? But that does not mean that I can't do my own. The problem is the bum chicken. If you can do for themselves that are expecting for a man to do for them. You can't even get your own nails done. So why do you expect for him to get your nails done? You want him to pay your bills, but if he wasn't around, how would those bills get paid? So if you can't even do it for yourself, don't have these expectations for nobody else. Not your liver. Because I'm gonna pay my own bills. But I am gonna ask that man, can you get my hair done? Can you get my nails done? And can you get my feet done? Can you get my brows done? But do I need him to do it? Absolutely not. I'm just tired of spending my money and I want his. So that's I think that's my friend said, Mike, Mike. No, no, no, because I'm not selling. I feel like I'm gonna go.

SPEAKER_05

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

SPEAKER_07

We're gonna yell me, then it should be the same thing. Then give it to me. It should be given.

SPEAKER_14

Listen, guys, I know y'all want to go back and forth, but we shouldn't have to still gotta do your interview and shit. So we don't wanna, you know, go off the tangent, you know. Okay.

SPEAKER_10

All right, I'll close it out, y'all. Y'all already know. Triggered. Triggered. My name's Lex Rated, and this is triggered. And you definitely didn't like it all.

SPEAKER_14

Every week. Every week.

SPEAKER_11

About to get periods.

SPEAKER_14

Wait, what the fuck are you drinking, kid? What is that?

SPEAKER_10

Oh my god. Let me see. Let me see. Let me see.

SPEAKER_14

That's some new shit.

unknown

Let me see.

SPEAKER_10

My tripod keeps slipping.

SPEAKER_14

I ain't even no XXL. That's I see a G on there.

SPEAKER_01

That's G fo.

SPEAKER_14

G a G fo.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's that's that's a hundred percent a guy. Let me get out in here.

SPEAKER_14

Oh, goddamn, we just throwing kids. Where you get that shit from?

SPEAKER_01

Baby?

SPEAKER_14

Oh shit.

SPEAKER_00

That's the healthy job.

SPEAKER_09

They say the ABC store here.

SPEAKER_10

All right, all right, all right, y'all. Quiet on the creek. I'm proud of you. You ain't messed me up. You ain't fucking this time. You ain't pissed me off. No, no. No, that might say that's because you're not independent, but you know, I'm not gonna piss you. I said one. Oh, one mic. One might. I didn't say I said it. Or very much independent. Um very much independent. You can answer my nigga. Okay. Y'all heard that.

SPEAKER_14

Who your who your nigga?

SPEAKER_10

Please call 911. Okay.

SPEAKER_08

Okay.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_08

All right.

SPEAKER_10

Hey you

Words Of The Week Game

SPEAKER_10

guys. Welcome back. It's been what, two weeks?

SPEAKER_11

Two weeks.

SPEAKER_10

Two weeks.

SPEAKER_11

Two.

SPEAKER_10

But welcome back to the words of the week. And this is the segment where we dress your vocabulary in silk, we give it some spice, we talk nice, and we make you the smartest that motherfucking brunch, okay?

SPEAKER_01

I feel smart already.

SPEAKER_10

The first um word that we're gonna get into today is you got your glasses on, so I can't tell if you're looking over here. You can't see my eyes? Yeah, I like these terminators. All right, so the word is an adjective and it's irenic.

SPEAKER_12

Irene.

SPEAKER_10

Irene is spelled E-I-R-E-N-I-C. It's an adjective. Before I get into the what it's derived by and the root word, would anyone like to just take a guess off of what it sounds like?

SPEAKER_02

100%. I already know.

SPEAKER_10

Irenic, irenic, irenic.

SPEAKER_02

Irenic. Is it a noun?

SPEAKER_10

It's an adjective.

SPEAKER_02

Adjective. It's it it rhymes with uh uh a word that you thought you thought about before. It rhymes with it rhymes with scenic. Ireneic scenic like a word you thought about before. Oh, like you hear a word, you'd be like, oh, that's it. What's the what's the root?

SPEAKER_10

Y'all ready for the root? Yes. Okay, hold on. Bye. I'm trying to make some shit happen over here. Okay, so the root word is the trophy. Use the trophy?

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, that's better. I'm telling you, watch this.

SPEAKER_10

Can you say that out on the mic? Don't nobody need to hear y'all struggling. It's okay. The struggle is real. Y'all struggles? It's authentic. It's authentic. All right. So um it's derived by the Greek word meaning peace. So Irene is basically um connected to the Greek personification or goddess of peace.

SPEAKER_14

Goddess of peace.

SPEAKER_10

Yes.

SPEAKER_14

Okay.

SPEAKER_10

What was the goddess of peace's name? Her name was Irene. And E-I-R-E-N-E. That's an old black woman name. So it's someone that's peaceful? That's not my granny name. Irene.

SPEAKER_14

Peaceful situation.

SPEAKER_10

The definition. You want to take the guess at the definition now? Do you guys guess? It's a person that ignored me.

SPEAKER_02

I ain't gonna cry about it. Describing a peace. You ignored me, but I ain't gonna cry about it.

SPEAKER_10

So basically the definition is No, no, I want to guess. Okay, yes.

SPEAKER_02

I guess it already.

SPEAKER_10

Okay, so you said you said Irene means peace.

SPEAKER_14

Peace, yes.

SPEAKER_10

And when I think of irenic, I think of ironic. So I feel like when it's a recurring peaceful situation. I just said the same exact shit. I'm naturally smart. You are. You got a big ass brain for you.

SPEAKER_09

What the fuck? By cheating. I didn't I didn't even look at the words this time. Did I look at the shit? No. Listen, listen. You guys are all smart. We will literally never know what them glass. I think I'm the smartest person on this fucking table.

SPEAKER_10

All right. So the definition is yes, a peaceful person or promoting peace or reconciliation. So this person would basically be like I would say in a sentence, her silence wasn't passive. It was irenic, refusing to give anger another weapon. No, the fuck it's not. Peace. No, it's definitely.

SPEAKER_14

The two Libras said that shit in unison. Oh, I like that.

SPEAKER_10

One side, maybe, but then the other one a little bit. Yeah. Does anyone want to um take a guess? I mean, anyone wouldn't use this in a sentence.

SPEAKER_14

What? Um, very irene.

SPEAKER_02

We still ain't got the fucking definition.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, we gonna say lying. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, we gotta, yeah, we gotta go. We gotta end this shit. We ain't even gonna do this in this video now.

SPEAKER_10

So the next word we're gonna get into today is a noun.

SPEAKER_14

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_10

And it's pronounced He Wraith.

SPEAKER_14

It's spelled H I R A R E T Hereith.

SPEAKER_10

They say it like with a little accent because it's a Welsh.

SPEAKER_14

Is it Hereith or Hereeth?

SPEAKER_10

He raith. That sounds like some Renaissance. It's a Welsh word. So it's Welsh Ear. Hereith.

SPEAKER_14

That's what I was saying. Is it Hereith or Hereith?

SPEAKER_10

Well pronounced it's in Europe.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, what's the root word? I need to hear you say it. Because I heard five different words. What's the word? I need to hear from you.

SPEAKER_10

You guys know gyro is not pronounced gyro. So just think of it sound like Indian food. Um Twisa sound like Indian fool.

SPEAKER_14

I mean again, yeah. We go on to the ignorant.

SPEAKER_10

No, so think of this. Hear it. Quiet on the creek.

SPEAKER_14

Hear it, hear it.

SPEAKER_10

Quiet on the creek. Quiet on the creek. The root word is basically a Welsh word. There's no perfect English translation. Yes. But the word it carries the ideas of like long, longing, homesickness, grief, yearning, or nostalgia. So that's what I would think when I think of this word. Hear it. That ain't how that was the root word. That's not even a word. That's a phrase. That's a root phrase. Well, it's not the root word, it's the etymology. So really it's okay, friend.

SPEAKER_09

Say it again. Etymology.

SPEAKER_10

Etymology. A Welsh word with no perfect English translation. It carries from the ideas of longing, homes, grief, yearning, or nostalgia. So I'm missing it. So it could be, yeah. So it's basically New Orleans. God damn. A deep, bittersweet longing for a person, place, or time that may be lost or impossible to turn to. But you can go back home. So either wrap it.

SPEAKER_11

She says she hit her.

SPEAKER_07

I heat if my sugar daddy.

SPEAKER_02

That was fire.

SPEAKER_07

God damn it.

SPEAKER_02

That was fire.

SPEAKER_07

God damn it.

SPEAKER_02

I hear I heated my favorite Eda. I heat it. I heat if my favorite Eda. I don't want to say.

SPEAKER_10

Well, did she die? You can't get her back. Right. Alright, so I would say Heath is realizing that you can long for a version of someone who no longer exists. Okay. Alright, I got one more word because we gotta get to our um potted bars and our uh the last word we're gonna get into today. Let me put these in the front.

SPEAKER_14

I'm not cheating today.

unknown

Yeah, yes.

SPEAKER_10

This word is a verb and it's ameliorate. Ameliorate is a Latin word, and it comes from melior, meaning better.

SPEAKER_14

Better, okay.

SPEAKER_10

Okay, it traveled through a front through French as a melior.

SPEAKER_14

They gotta go down.

SPEAKER_10

I know that I was trying to.

SPEAKER_14

Why did you feel it? I was trying to say what a hole at.

SPEAKER_09

I'm sorry, go ahead. You can't find a hole.

SPEAKER_07

You got it? Damn.

SPEAKER_10

She couldn't find a hole. Okay. That's what she said. Ameliorate is a verb.

SPEAKER_02

Drunk as hell.

SPEAKER_10

And it's spelled A-M-E-L-I-O-R-A-T-E. Nah, you definitely would anyone like to just say okay. To make something better, less painful, or less severe.

SPEAKER_11

Wait, what's the word?

SPEAKER_10

The word is ameliorate. And it means to make something better, less painful, or less severe. I already saw it. Side note, say that don't sound like somebody something that somebody would name their child. Right. Amelia.

SPEAKER_07

Amelia. Nah.

SPEAKER_10

No.

SPEAKER_07

Not cute.

SPEAKER_10

Um, I would say it could be cute. Forgiveness may ameliorate the wound, but accountability is what keeps it from reopening. So the dick? So the dick is the amiliate. The dick makes the thing. All right, that was words of the week, you guys. The segment where we make it a little bit smooth.

Building Ladies Of Charlotte Community

SPEAKER_14

Listen, we're gonna bring you in the no advisory way. You ready? So we're gonna ask you three simple, no advisory motherfucking questions.

SPEAKER_08

Who you are, where you from, and what the fuck you do?

SPEAKER_09

Craig, it on me.

SPEAKER_07

No, my name is Andrea Jones. Miss Jones to be exact, but I add 087 because that's my Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, all that name. Um, I'm from New York.

SPEAKER_02

I can hear what part of it.

SPEAKER_07

Do not lie. I was raised in the South Richmond, Virginia.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, and I spent a lot of my years in Charlotte, North Carolina. It's nothing wrong. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yo, yo, y'all, yo, I'm not sure. You still got your accent, that's all that matters.

SPEAKER_07

New York. New York. New Exit. Exactly where I'm from. What I do, anybody that knows me knows my nine to five. But I am an admin, the only admin of Ladies of Charlotte. I'm in the process of building my business, ladies' events, and things, CTT. And also, um, I'm not starting a nonprofit organization. I'm not gonna give the name because I want to build that up before I actually start exposing that. But if you hear the you know, the trend, ladies of charlotte, ladies' events, and things, then you kind of get an idea of what's to come next for my nonprofit. But that's what I do, and that's that's that's about it.

SPEAKER_14

Wait, before you, before we go.

SPEAKER_07

I said New York.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, I said New I heard New York, I heard that. I definitely heard that. That's the first thing I heard. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you said the occupation. I already know that. What what was that? What's that? It's not even admin, though.

SPEAKER_02

Sponsored. What's an admin though? That's that's that's the word of the day. Sponsored.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, yeah, I got a lot of moments. That's why I'm scared when homeboy got in here.

SPEAKER_02

I need to know. I don't know.

SPEAKER_07

That's why I kind of got scared when homeboy was going here talking about lights. Yeah, an admin is pretty much the person that's over a group page on Facebook. So I am an admin, the admin of Ladies of Charlotte.

SPEAKER_12

AKA sponsored.

SPEAKER_07

No, I don't sponsor nobody.

SPEAKER_10

That's what you said. You say you sponsored sponsors.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. I like your energy. I like your energy.

SPEAKER_10

Before you start, before you start, I just want to give your group credit. Yes.

SPEAKER_07

Because he was about ready to give up on a podcast. No, we're not doing that. He was about ready to give up. I was. So I had to hit up the group and ask for what I did for females to join.

SPEAKER_10

And that's when the tanking.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_11

That's not why.

SPEAKER_14

You withheld that from me. Interesting. You withheld that from me till you got in the show.

SPEAKER_07

She just called me for a perfect moment, which is not a good thing.

SPEAKER_14

That's a full circle moment.

SPEAKER_02

Full circle moment.

SPEAKER_07

Okay. That's dope. That's exactly why I am here. That's why you're here.

SPEAKER_11

That's why you're here.

SPEAKER_02

That's why you hear.

SPEAKER_07

We write it.

SPEAKER_14

They came from the ladies, they came so ladies are shouting. So how wait, so I'm listening. What's up?

SPEAKER_07

How how okay?

SPEAKER_14

I got questions too.

SPEAKER_07

Let me tell you something. You knew about this? I made a post. Oh, about auditions and I kind of come.

SPEAKER_10

And I said, look no further.

SPEAKER_07

She did. And I got it. And now she's here. Yeah. And then we did the same thing. She was in the group already, too. Let me tell you how the group works. We don't nobody knows each other. But the group brings ladies together for a friendship, for sisterhood, for networking, for empowerment, for motivation, for uplifting. Any everything you can look for is in that group, ladies of Charlotte. One thing that sets my group aside, because I know that a lot of groups out here on Facebook, I'm not the creator of any of these groups. It came before me and it's gonna come after me. But one thing that sets my group aside is I don't tolerate no negativity. I don't tolerate no disrespect. I don't tolerate no rude, mean, nasty, none of that. Because it's easy for me to be all those things.

SPEAKER_02

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_07

But what we're trying to do as ladies is sit there and be ladies. Let's sit come together as a one unit and be women. It's hard to do that, but at the same time, if you practice it, you will be able to do it. So that's what sets my group aside. Is that I don't tolerate none of the stuff that might go on in other groups, but in this group, no, no.

SPEAKER_14

I got a one quick question. What's your question? And this is for Swish. No, I want to ask my question. Don't ask my question. I'm gonna ask this question. Don't ask my question. Swish talked to me earlier. Don't ask my question. I don't want to ask my question. I'm gonna ask the question. Maybe it's not your question. Alright, don't ask my question. You know my question. What do you say to the people like Swish who feel that your group is misogynistic?

SPEAKER_07

I don't really care what people think. I know what my purpose above the group and I know why I put the group together. So would other people feel that's their business. But I know personally, I put a group together for ladies, for women, because that's exactly what I am.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_07

You understand? But when I have certain events, I will make it co-ed for men. I'm not excluding any man, but I can't tell a man how to be a man. So I cannot conduct a group for men, and I'm not men. She's gangster. She's gangster. She's gangster. I would like to include a man that can be able to do some of the same things so that the guys can have access to some of the same things that us women want access to.

SPEAKER_14

Maybe you should call it just the mini charlotte.

SPEAKER_07

You can call it the mini charlotte. But me personally, I'm a lady. I'm a woman. So I cannot lead a group of men. Okay. But I can give my insights on certain things that men might need help for. But I cannot host a group or have a group for men when I myself am a woman.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

So that was actually. Wait, wait, wait.

SPEAKER_10

Um, excuse me. Excuse me. Um earlier, CEO said uh that your group was misogynistic, and I would just like to give the definition of that word because he used it improperly. Maybe I did.

SPEAKER_07

You said it before yourself. I'm not on your back. But maybe the people at home. I don't.

SPEAKER_02

We put it on me. He put it on me.

SPEAKER_07

I knew what he was doing with that time. Pretty much excluding men, or whatever. You might not have used the word correctly, but I knew what you meant. Thank you, thank you.

SPEAKER_10

So misogynistic actually means uh prejudice against women.

SPEAKER_07

I'm not prejudiced against women because it's a women's group, but I'm that's why I said he used the word.

SPEAKER_10

I knew what you meant, but I knew what he meant. I don't think he's fancy.

SPEAKER_07

Did we did we really?

SPEAKER_05

Huh?

SPEAKER_07

I did. I knew what I'm saying. I don't know what the fuck is that. I don't know where he was getting at when he asked the question because I know men.

SPEAKER_14

That's the New York thing.

SPEAKER_07

Illiteracy for women is that's it. I didn't I'd add the question isn't really care.

SPEAKER_02

I just you have a group full of women. You have a group full of women, and you are very well spoken. I want to say that first.

SPEAKER_10

I don't think that because you're not working now, nah, we just said that's right.

SPEAKER_11

No, you got a group full of women.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. And one thing that women lack these days more than anything is accountability. Accountability. Do you take accountability?

SPEAKER_07

As far as in general, just in general in life. Me, myself, I can take accountability on anything. I can take accountability on anything that I feel like I need to take accountability on. As far as the group, I can't, that ain't my business. I just post what I post in the group, and that's just what I do in the group. I can't control what the ladies do, how they act outside of the group, but in that group, it don't have no reason to take accountability. Just as long as you're not rude, disrespectful, mean, nasty, or anything of that sort, negative. But as far as accountability as a woman myself, when I do anything wrong, yes, I take accountability. It might take me some time to acknowledge that. If it's wrong, but eventually, with conversation, I will acknowledge and take accountability of my wrongdoing. Yes. Yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_09

I respect it.

SPEAKER_07

But I ain't got nothing to do with a group. I ain't gonna do it. Okay, listen.

SPEAKER_10

So let's let's start back from the beginning. I want to know. Um I want to know, was there a specific moment in your life when you realized that women needed this type of space? Like, and when was that?

SPEAKER_07

Okay, so let me let me let me run it all the way back. I was maybe like four years, I want to say four years, two years, three, four years ago. I'm gonna lie about the exact time. But I wanted to start a nonprofit organization. And I didn't know how to come about doing the nonprofit organization. So I asked one of my friends, which she helps me with pretty much everything. She's like the the the back burner of everything. Shout out to her. Her name is Tissia. She definitely is my little backbone. She helps me with everything that I need when it comes down to the group. So I came to her house, like, yo, I want to start a nonprofit organization. And she was like, We we we will help you. You know, I'm gonna help you to get there. So we took a trip to Houston. Why do we pick Houston? On damn well, we wasn't gonna do anything in Houston but have fun. So the whole plan was to be uh take a business trip to start that. And we didn't. When I came back, I slacked on it, and then with time, I was like, you know what? I don't feel like I have the resources to actually um start a nonprofit organization. So I felt the easy way to do uh put ladies together was to start a group because I was also in one of these groups on Facebook, which was worldwide nationally, or whatever the case may be. And I just started grabbing women from there to kind of focus directly on Charlotte. But I didn't lose sight of the fact that I want to create a nonprofit organization, which will come because now I have an audience to present that to. So yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Yes, leave. Um, what have you guys done outside of the group? What um have you guys have meetups or outings?

SPEAKER_07

Okay, so the whole group in general is for any for the ladies that's in the group. If you choose to meet up, you can. I feel like if you're not gonna meet up, there's no real purpose of you being in the group because the whole purpose is to actually meet up outside the group. If you join and you understand the concept of the group, you will make it your business to meet up. But me personally, I create events, I host events for the ladies to meet up for the whole year that I had the group. I hosted these events pretty much for free. For as the donations. Um, but now I host my events on Eventbrite, and you can buy a ticket. So we have meet up at several groups, and also some of the ladies in the group have built um genuine connections and sisterhood through this particular group. Maybe other groups as well, but I can only speak for my group. But I've known and I've seen that it has happened. You go to one event that I host, and you are bound to come to another one, and it starts to feel like a family reunion. It's no longer feeling like you're meeting just a stranger, it feels like a family reunion, and that's my purpose of hosting the groups so that you can actually come out. Some people would not take the initiative to come out because they're waiting on other people to post things, but you have no excuse because I post the stuff for you to come. Now you just did not want to come, but it is there in the group. So, yes, we have done several events.

SPEAKER_14

I got a I got a question.

SPEAKER_07

It's okay. It's okay. Eventually, the time comes. Time is everything.

SPEAKER_14

There's no discrimination in the group, right? So, what if somebody hits the drawing group and they are a man identifying as a woman?

SPEAKER_07

Okay, so personal me personally, I can't see but what's between your legs. I'm only going off the face. So if you look like woman, I'm going to initially accept you as a woman. Now, when you come to events and I see that you have a little dingling or something hanging, you might identify as a woman and you might be able to make it. It is what it is. I'm not gonna make you feel uncomfortable. That is your sex, that's what you choose to identify from by. But I'm not gonna shun you. I'll let you figure out if this is the group that you want to be amongst, because some other women might not be like myself in acceptance of you. So if you feel uncomfortable and you feel like the group is not acceptance of you, you might want to remove yourself. But initially, I'm going to make you feel comfortable enough and I'm gonna welcome you because that's what you identify as. Am I gonna say transgenders welcome? Transgenders welcome. I don't I don't promote it on the page, but if that's what you identify as, and you wish to come to one of our events as a transgender or as what you identify a woman, come sit and let you determine whether you want to be amongst them.

SPEAKER_14

So listen, yes, I'm gonna put a wig on, come, I'ma request a joint, I'ma identify as a woman. And I'm gonna get in the group.

SPEAKER_07

And then if you come in and you feel like that's the group that you want to be in, stay. And then when we make you feel uncomfortable because we are actually women, women, and the stuff that we talk about, you feel like it does not apply to you, then you will remove yourself because I'm not gonna be able to do it. I was gonna be in a group that I feel like I'm not comfortable with being in, I'm gonna remove myself. But me personally, I'm not gonna remove you. People remove themselves. I don't remove them.

SPEAKER_14

I just gave niggas a spitting. A hint of how to get in there.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, hint. Go ahead, get in. But I do check those pages. So if you have like zero friends and you probably like, I do check because I'm like, yo, who is this? This might be my ex. Get out of here. Or you might be a male. I don't know. So I would I do try to check pages.

SPEAKER_02

You on some black boy max shit. What you on CEO?

SPEAKER_10

Are you on Snapchat or is it just a Facebook group?

SPEAKER_07

I just on Facebook right now because I honestly was just seeing how it would grow. And I didn't think that it would be as it is now. So me personally, I'm kind of a little bit older seasoned. So I don't know how to work all these extra Sajum?

SPEAKER_14

Sajum season? Real animated, like animated, like whatever you want to call me, I'll be that.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah. But if you want to help me expand, you can be the you can be the person behind all of that. But me personally, I some of these things I don't know how to do because I just I'm just used to the olden.

SPEAKER_10

Um I definitely want to say personally, when I came here, I joined two like Facebook groups or whatever. One is like another Facebook group, but it's so many women in there, and people don't, you know, reach out. It you does you don't feel the family. No, I wouldn't feel family. Since I've been in this group, no lie.

SPEAKER_02

I'm listening, I'm listening.

SPEAKER_08

Bye swear.

SPEAKER_10

But anyway, some of the women have come together and assisted myself because my daughter decided to go to prom last minute, very last minute. And I put a post out there and I was vulnerable and I was just like, you know, like we just moved here. Mom is doing everything that she needs to do as a mom, but this is the extra, and this shit like three days away. Like, whatever you guys can help me with. And when I say so many beautiful women came together, so many women came together, makeup, gift cards, dress, whatever. Like everything my baby wants, she got for her prom. And that really, really, really meant a lot to me because there's not a million women in this group. The women that are in here are active, right? And I went to another event as well. And um, one of the girls from the group pulled up. It was like a murder mystery thing, and it was dope. It was just nice to see, like, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Not every event everybody will attend. Yeah, and if you can come, you can. If you can't, you can't. But the whole purpose of the group is for you to be able to connect with other ladies. So I feel like if you are there to genuinely make a connection, you will make a connection in that group. If you don't, that's by choice, because I made It's my business for you to be able to make a connection there.

SPEAKER_08

And we did.

SPEAKER_07

We started from the bottom. Now we what? Started from the bottom.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, all right. Okay. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

You know, I know men not allowed in the group, but we are at the interview. We we I I'm just saying, we at the interview, so I just you feel me, I have to ask questions about the group. Is y'all in the group getting freaky? Do y'all talk about freaky dicky stuff? That's not nasty. That's not disrespectful.

SPEAKER_07

It's not nasty, but one thing I try to keep in kind of respectful about I don't want because we have all different age rings, so I don't want nobody to ever feel uncomfortable about certain things that's being posted. So I try to keep it, you know, a little bit of PG. No, we don't got we don't want I don't want too much going on for the people that are elderly, but at the same time, we just I posted that I'm looking for a sugar daddy. And it was like, oh, I want to help you. It was like go here, but there's an actual site for that. No, but I'm not talking about it. You be wanting to have actual reference from a person that actually did it. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_14

That's true.

SPEAKER_02

So like if a girl just coming in one morning and be like, I got beat to the flow last night, shit.

SPEAKER_09

We're gonna chime to that thing.

SPEAKER_11

Right, but there is a lot of positivity though.

SPEAKER_10

There is a lot of positivity where it's like, oh girl, who you know, it's like, oh, that was my nigga, my nigga put me down. It's not just like, oh, a side nigga, no, da da. Like it really be like really positive and just women have an experience of it.

SPEAKER_07

But if you chart choose to come in there with some midnight love type stuff, you can come in there with some midnight love type stuff and we're gonna chime in. But me personally, as me being an admin, me being over the group, I try to set the tone. I don't want to put anything up there that's going to make anybody feel uncomfortable and look at me like ill. But if you come to my actual page, on my page, I can say what I want because not everybody can be on my page. But as far as the group uh certain, you know, yeah, the group I don't.

SPEAKER_02

We gotta get that page.

SPEAKER_07

What did you say?

SPEAKER_14

You know, they gotta get that page, and you know, I I I put one of the you know joints in a group, but that was just one overall. Yeah, from what I've gathered, uh huh, yeah. The group is pretty positive. It's not, you know, no nigga bash or nothing like that. It's really women coming together and building connections and helping. So yeah, I have to have energy. I could I can appreciate that.

SPEAKER_07

I couldn't have the energy to bash anybody.

SPEAKER_14

I thought it was like a nigga bash, you know, some of the group, nigga bashing all day.

SPEAKER_07

I'm like, I'm not bashing nobody that's too much energy into that. I'd rather promote positivity. But at the same time, if somebody comes in there saying something about their man's and we gotta chime in, we as women gonna come together and chime in. But like I said, I'm not gonna set the tone of, I'm not gonna set the tone of bashing. That's not what I'm gonna post out there. Hey, my man did do and I did job. But if somebody wanted us to come in and chime in on a situation, yeah, then put post that there. We we're gonna we're gonna be there. But you personally, but me personally, I ain't doing it. I'm not putting that out there. No, no, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_10

We love that. Honestly, all together. Um, if you guys have any other questions, do y'all travel?

SPEAKER_07

Um, I want to because look, let me tell you, if you can't conduct your hair in Charlotte, I don't want you beside me overseas. But then guess what? I gotta get locked up out there. That takes more to get back home. So I try to feel everybody out. If you have not conducted yourself as a lady here in Charlotte, do not expect to come with me overseas. What is a lady? Nobody's allowed.

SPEAKER_02

Nobody's allowed.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah. I feel like you should be able to not like a child. Don't sit just because of age, just because you're 35, 36, 37, that does not mean that you are a grown adult. I feel like you should be respectful in public. I feel like you shouldn't be standing mean mugging at this person, telling me that you don't like her. How you don't like her, you don't know her. You don't like how she dressed, you don't like her hair, because you don't know her hair. So I feel like if you come to me and you like I don't like her, you mean mugging, or you automatically using bitches? What do you mean? What do you mean? How you gonna call me a bitch and I just told you it's ladies of Charlotte? You don't even, you haven't even seen the people in the group. You haven't even, you know, presented yourself to anybody to even put the title of bitches. So if you use the word bitches obsessively, then I I feel like you're not even on the level of being a lady. I feel like if you judgmental, you are not on the level of being a lady. I feel like if you don't know how to conduct yourself in public uh without the attitude, without the lady. Certain things that you should be able to do from a child that your mom should have taught you, you should know now as a lady. So I feel like if you can't do those certain things, you can't come behind me overseas. So now that the group is over a year old, now I feel like I want to expand being a travel agent, so therefore I can be able to start booking groups in a trip. I mean, trips in a group, but um, I needed to fill out certain individuals. So when some people inquire, I can be like, eh. You were turned up in that damn party. Yes.

SPEAKER_14

This is all type of record. But I do admire the shebang. Because it's gonna be real.

SPEAKER_11

I like the shebang. The bang. The bang. Uh oh. I just had our.

SPEAKER_14

I'm sorry, I just had that shit.

SPEAKER_10

It's mad, baby.

SPEAKER_14

The shit was so crispy. I just had to.

SPEAKER_10

But honestly, we've loved having you here. I want you to let these folks know again, um, you know, just what it is that you do, sum it up, and then also let them know where they can find you, okay? Okay.

SPEAKER_07

Um, I'm Andrea. It's Jones087. Queens, New York. Um, Queens. Definitely from Queens, New York. But was raised. I was raised in South Richmond, Virginia. And I also spent many, many years in Charlotte, North Carolina. Thank you. Um, I'm an admin, you know, administrator over Ladies of Charlotte. No other letters in the front. Just Ladies of Charlotte. Charlotte Lit Group. Yes, the little group. Yes, definitely. All positivity. Um, and also, like I said, my business is to come. It's already in process. Ladies' events and things, and all things. And also, uh, my nonprofit organization is definitely to come, but I don't want to speak on the name because uh, yeah, I gotta make sure that's um legit before I speak on it. But yeah, you can find me on Facebook, Andrea. No, don't follow my page. No, what's the Facebook?

SPEAKER_02

What's the Facebook?

SPEAKER_07

Oh, mind your business. It's not that, that's not that. But you can find ladies of Charlotte if you are a lady, ladies of Charlotte, no extra words in the front. Ladies of Charlotte. If you identify the if you identify as a lady, shit, I won't know until actually comes to an event. Then I'll be able to be like, oh, oh, we got an extra shadow. But come, come, come. Come, come, come.

SPEAKER_02

You got a security guard. You got a security guard.

SPEAKER_07

Stop not escorting nobody out. They're gonna make themselves feel uncomfortable because they don't want to be there.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah. That's it, that's all. We love it. Thank you for many. What?

SPEAKER_14

Oh shit, my back.

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_10

SPEAKER_14

SPEAKER_10

SPEAKER_14

SPEAKER_00
