I'm a host. I am that girl. You know, I'm here. I just love bringing people together, having fun. I like to see flash shaking. I appreciate y'all so much for having me on here. Very, very grateful. SPEAKER_08

I honestly don't know. I came to Charlotte. I didn't, I had never been here, never visited. I was like, it was between Orlando or Charlotte. And I was like, let's go to Charlotte. The school system was better. I got kids, so I was like, the school system feels better. So I came here, didn't know nothing, nobody. Found an apartment. It was full of roaches. Oh. Hell no. Who knows? They're staring at us.

SPEAKER_13

Oh no.

SPEAKER_08

They wanted to play too. They wanted to play too. So we had to move. Wheels over there. Wheels over there on the uh off of August Mark. Oh love. Oh yeah, you know.

SPEAKER_01

That's what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_08

And the city. That's what they say. Yeah, so yeah, we moved. I love it here. I love it here from my purpose here. I really enjoyed it.

SPEAKER_09

What's the name of the apartment so they know not to move down?

SPEAKER_08

And I ain't gonna call them out.

SPEAKER_13

We can't move it. I for I forgot that. Did you leave the Google for me?

SPEAKER_08

I did. Okay. As long as you left the name.

SPEAKER_11

I feel like I know the name.

SPEAKER_08

It was somewhere off of Algemar down a little click. It was like a couple apartments over there. I forgot the name though. Really?

SPEAKER_13

Yeah. Just over here cracking up. We don't know it. We don't know what the fuck she's laughing at. Let us know in the group chat later. Is that where that what would you do came from?

SPEAKER_03

Maybe.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, because I I don't do the roaches. I definitely drop a little bomb before I yeah, definitely definitely.

SPEAKER_08

I ended at least early.

Who She Is Beyond The Internet

SPEAKER_13

I love that for you. So what part of Luciana culture are you still carrying with you?

SPEAKER_08

Oh man, this is uh from the um lion. I live in a balance like every day. Um my whole thing, you know, I love whole energy. I'm just a high-end hole. I just have a good thing.

SPEAKER_13

So for those who are just getting introduced to you, who is Miss Jones beyond what we see online?

SPEAKER_08

Oh um I'm I'm I'm a genuine girl, goofy, super goofy. Um, I'm a mother uh first and foremost over everything. Um from there, you know, I'm a person that's all about positivity. Uh, I just like to I like to see people smile. I'm I'm all about that. You walk around with me, I'm I'm smiling at you, I'm making sure you're good. I'm I'm a person that hug people. That's just who I am naturally. And uh, music girl, love music. So I'm always doing something with music. Went to school for music, so that's my thing. So but yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm just I just be chilling. I just I like to have a good time. I'm always very energetic. So if you see me out, you'd be like, that girl is extra. I'm extra in private too. I be rolling around on the floor at home with the kids, doing little chem dances with them and all kinds of stuff. So that's just naturally me. I love her for beyond the uh little kin.

SPEAKER_13

No, that's me. Isn't that that's Mary J Blies? That's Mary J. Blies. Mary J. Blies, you got the love, you got the love. Yeah, that's that was no count. Oh, you're right, you're right. All right, me know. What you say? What is that?

SPEAKER_08

I'm going in.

SPEAKER_05

So you say you say you from New Orleans, right?

SPEAKER_08

Yes. All right, Louisiana. Um I'm from like Alexandria.

SPEAKER_05

Alec, where's that at?

SPEAKER_08

That's like by Lafayette. Um where's that at?

SPEAKER_05

That's because you know Lafayette.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, it's yeah, it's past New Orleans. Yes, yeah.

SPEAKER_08

You know, we be everywhere.

SPEAKER_13

We're not gonna know that. It's past New Orleans. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_09

It's past New Orleans. It's like right there.

SPEAKER_02

You're like, okay.

SPEAKER_09

Oh now. I would say it's like Huntersville.

SPEAKER_13

It's like Huntersville's uh. I would definitely say that. Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_13

You know, that's a good visual.

SPEAKER_08

That's definitely a good visual. So I don't know.

SPEAKER_05

You being from New Orleans, and then uh how long you been in Charlotte?

SPEAKER_08

I've been in Charlotte now, three years.

SPEAKER_05

Three years. So you coming from New Orleans, moving to Charlotte, how was that culturally for you?

SPEAKER_08

Well, I actually moved here from Dallas, Texas. Okay, so like from how long was you in Texas for? Three years. I was raised in Georgia. And yeah, everywhere. Everywhere. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just everywhere.

SPEAKER_05

You were born and you was born in Louisiana. Louisiana.

SPEAKER_08

Raised in Georgia. That's when I did events. I did a lot of events in Georgia. I hosted in Georgia.

SPEAKER_05

Okay.

Party Throwing Lessons And Jail Stories

SPEAKER_08

Uh, that's another story. And then what's the story? Uh I mean, it's just I I threw a lot of events. I I went through a lot of trouble during those events because it was a lot of trial and error. But um, I've been throwing events since I was 16. Um, went to jail a lot over events. And went to jail. Yes, it was a lot. My parties was crazy. Like so why you invite us?

SPEAKER_10

You know, yeah, you know, you know, look, y'all come, y'all.

SPEAKER_08

You should have just looked up in the sky and said, Y'all come up to the bounce takeover. You know, that's that's the yeah, that's it. I got the whole thing.

SPEAKER_05

Wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on. You ain't gonna dodge, you ain't gonna dodge the party. You said you went to jail with like all these parties. Like, what happened? How was it going on?

SPEAKER_08

It was a learning experience for me. I didn't have a business license. I was doing like hotel. I first started off at hotel parties, got kicked out a lot of hotels in my city, did house parties. That's where I went to jail for most of the house parties, yeah. And then um, I ended up throwing parties at venues, but didn't have a business license. So it was just like, you know, oh, selling my uh minus alcohol, things like that. So, you know, just all the learning experience from it. So finally got the business license, got everything I needed, it took off from there. I was making probably like 20,000 per party uh back in Georgia. It was it was a nice time. So yeah, Atlanta or Columbia? It was uh it was Columbus, Georgia. So that's why I'm I'm taking my Nola Mounts party there. So you know folks there clock it.

Rebranding Through Networking In Charlotte

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, okay. So when you actually I have a question Um When you came to Charlotte, do you feel like you had to soften, sharpen, or reinvent yourself to move in Charlotte spaces?

SPEAKER_08

I rebranded for sure. Um and I'm still learning for sure. Um I came here, I I really didn't get out in Charlotte till like last May, June, probably later than that for real. I started learning everybody. I'm like, okay, who's out here? Who's these people? Who's these people? And just started networking heavy. And so from me rebranding in November as a host, I started, I started getting booked. Um, Summer Sam, she was the first one to kind of like, she was like, Shout out to Sam, she's like, She was the first one, like, come on, come host with me. Come on, come.

SPEAKER_13

So from there, I went up. Nah, I just got excited because a lot of people know Sam here. A lot of people know Sam.

SPEAKER_08

So when I said she's from Connecticut, they're like, oh, really? I'm like, yeah, she's been here for a while, but that's my dog. Yeah, she's a sweetheart, man. She got me, she got me on, and then from there I started getting bookings, and yeah, I was like, you know what? I want to start back getting to the events, and I was like, but this time I want to travel with it. But I'm gonna start off in Charlotte, get my name out there, and then I'm gonna just go ahead and try to take off from there. So one thing at a time, that's all we can do. I love that.

SPEAKER_13

Because I know we met at a collab. Um, you was like, You gotta get my Instagram, you gotta get my Instagram. She was gonna get everybody get her Instagram that time.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, that's how you do it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_13

So, what made you want to be a host?

SPEAKER_08

Oh man, I I once again I've been doing it since I was 16. My very first party was a Mardi Gras party in high school. And so um, so from there, I hosted and I was like, shoot, people used to always dance with me every time I was like hype them up, you know, like throw that ass, what you doing, you know, like shit, we go. You know, so that was just like, I was like, hold on, I might got something here. So, you know, from there I just started hosting all kinds of parties and people just always turn up. Even if I'm not on the mic, you know, I'm a just a I'm just a person that connects with people. So I'm just like, you know, like what's up? You know, how you doing, you know, and what's going on? Going to see you. I like your titties, go and shake a footy, you know. Yeah, it's just I just love it, y'all.

SPEAKER_05

I love it so much. Girls love to hear other women say that.

SPEAKER_08

That's why. Yes, and that's why I was like, female hosts is kind of needed because I feel like females are comfortable around other females. Yeah, you know, like if I'm on the mic and I'm hosting, like girls will come up and dance with me, you know, and I'm sure if it's a guy, you know, then they ain't gonna like, you know, if they fuck with them, you know, it's excuse, I don't know if I can because it's no advisory.

SPEAKER_03

There's no advisor in there.

SPEAKER_08

You know, they you know they they ain't gonna, you know, they'll dance. But other than that, I feel like a female host gets them going, like, yeah, let me, you know, share them, show a titty real quick. You know, she good, you know?

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, definitely feel make you feel a lot more comfortable, a lot more comfortable. So before you became Miss Jones, who were you and do you ever miss that version of yourself? Like, because I'm assuming, even though Jones is your is like a persona of yourself, or is this who you are authentically?

SPEAKER_08

Well, I before I was Miss Jones, my name was Miss Skinny. I was skinny. I was 500 pounds. You skinny? No, I was 500 pounds. I was 500. And so, yeah, and my name was Miss Skinny, and uh, that's what's my back in Georgia party days. And I used to do it because I'm like, fuck y'all. Like my name is Skinny. Yeah, it's like, and so um, would I go back to that? I love back in that era, but I would not go back to that person. You know, that person is long gone. I lost over 260 pounds. I ain't trying to give it to that. I'm trying to get back to that.

SPEAKER_05

But New Orleans cooking and shit. And all the other shit.

SPEAKER_08

He was eating good. What you say?

SPEAKER_13

I want to know what's your astrological sign. I'm an Aries. My brother.

SPEAKER_08

What's up? What's up, Aries? What up, gang?

SPEAKER_13

It's the first time I ever heard this nigga talk to them. Yeah, it's it's dangerous. He probably too many airs like one location, it's dangerous. It's dangerous.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, we all gotta represent, you know, family when it comes to Aries.

SPEAKER_13

I don't think airie season does end kind of fast. It's like if you blink, you might miss it. Yeah, yeah, you might miss it.

SPEAKER_08

We don't let people know before. I believe it. I love me saying Aries friends.

SPEAKER_05

So, go ahead. Well, go ahead.

SPEAKER_13

That's this is why we're talking about 3333, but go ahead.

SPEAKER_11

Go ahead. Go ahead, Jazz.

unknown

No, you go. Go.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah, I mean.

New Orleans Bounce Takeover Tour Plan

SPEAKER_13

Okay. All right, so you talk about the Norland Bounce takeover.

SPEAKER_08

Explain that to everyone. Oh man, that's gonna be crazy. Uh, New Orleans bounce takeover. I'm going on tour with it, May 16th in Charlotte.

SPEAKER_14

Hey!

SPEAKER_08

May 23rd, Columbus, Georgia. And I got Greensboro, Londa, Columbia, uh, Montgomery, Alabama. I'm really literally going on tour with it. Yeah, I see. So it's uh I'm very excited. Yeah, yeah. No, I'm working on the other cities. But it's Montgomery's gonna be lit. I want to bring a space where everybody can. I feel like in Charlotte it's a lot of RB here. And you know, people have some fun here, but I want to just bring different. I was like, New Orleans bounce, people love it. You don't hear it that much in Charlotte. People will play it. They hear the um too much. They hear the ones that they always fucking hear. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, you know, a lot of a lot of people they'll play like sit on that. Uh bouncy, like bounce bouncy, biggity, bouncy, biggity, bouncy, biggity, bouncy, you know. But it's it's so much. Like me and Ria Reedy, you got hot sizzle, you know, uh you got you got super bad. You got a lot of them. So yeah, everybody'll free. You know, when you think of bounce, you'll think of free. The BJ so cold. Um, so um, I'm gonna bring that space where girls can like let loose, guys can actually dance with girls, you know, like and and not be scared of it. It's I want to bring a space people can just let loose, be free. Don't even come with lace fronts on because maybe they're gonna sweat back. You know, we here to have a good time and enjoy ourselves. And I got a lot of surprises for that night, too.

SPEAKER_13

So it's gonna be one of the things that sounds fun as hell. Are you gonna have anybody teaching them how to do the dances? Because it's there's a dance, I know how to shake this ass. Clock it. I don't know how to do them little circle shots. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, it's emotional. I need some. I can't move my ass in the circle. I can't do a promo to do, but I don't think about that. I might have to do a promo. It wasn't that funny, yeah. Teaching people how to do it.

The Perfect 10K Party Vision

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, that's fine. But I did have a question. I wanted to know um if someone gave you$10,000 and told you to throw a party that defines you, what does the party look like from start to finish?

SPEAKER_08

High energy, high energy, straight up. Um, I'm a high energy girl. Um, it would most likely be maybe a festival type shit. Uh-huh. You ain't going to sleep, hoe. Yeah, no, no, no, no. Definitely. Some artists, you know, good artists performing. I want to have like body, you know, girls and body paint, you know, uh some different shit, you know. I just want it to be fun. You know,$10,000, you know, it's it's we're gonna make it work, you know? Uh, but I, yeah, that's what I would do. It'd be something high energy. People would definitely remember, have a good time, good content for the ones that want to do content. But really, for me, it's just like, put your phone down, let's enjoy it. Yeah. Let's have fun. That's what it's about. Absolutely. I'm old school. So, like, fuck that phone. I feel that, I'm seeing.

SPEAKER_05

Yep. So, like, because I know you had mentioned um doing events and parties where people could dance, because like right now we're in an era where everybody's on their cell phones. Nobody's really interacting with each other. It's just it's crazy when you go to the clubs, right? So, when you like out here in Charlotte, what is the the spot that you that's your go-to spot that you know I'm gonna go here and niggas gonna start dancing and shit like that? What spot is that for you in Charlotte?

SPEAKER_08

Good question. Um I would probably say like I I have to say maybe alibi because it's outside, but like dancing. Okay, the last dance, okay, let me just say this. The last actual party I hosted um actually was a Prism party, Prism CLT, and that was at Sip City. And um, it ended up being like a lot of house bounce type of music. And so I have never seen so many people in Charlotte like shake ass. Like it was crazy. So I was like, that was something that I guess it'll have to be like the curator more than like the spot. Like who's throwing this event and you know, actually really dancing? Um I would also say as well, like a 704 party is one that I've been to. They always dancing to. Because that's what I love. I love people that dance. I don't like, don't sit around. Right. I don't like people who think they're bigger than each other, want to get sections and shit. Like, why would you go out like trying to be cool and shit? Like, go out and have a good time. Like, I need to sweat. I don't give a damn. You start smelling musty, get your ass on now. It's musty and bad. But you know, like you know you're having a good time, you know. Hit the bathroom, hit a little spring.

SPEAKER_05

Well, the niggas don't do that.

SPEAKER_08

No, I'm old school, so I came from a uh from the times where we didn't have that shit. Like, you know, people dance, they sweat, people throwing asses on men. Yep, you know, it was it was partying, like freak nick type shit, you know, and that's what I missed that. That's what I want to kind of bring back too. You know, I know we're getting older and shit, but you know, it's never too late to have fun, never too late to ding in.

SPEAKER_13

I want to be 20 on my dog. I cannot wait. I hope it happened. I hope so. What was your okay? So I saw you at the what was it? The thing shot. No, shut your mouth. Shut your mouth. I saw her at the summer 16.

SPEAKER_08

Oh, at Alabama. Yes.

SPEAKER_13

What was your thoughts on that party?

SPEAKER_08

Summer 16, summer 16, summer 16.

SPEAKER_13

Oh, it was young.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, it was young. It was young. The Wynd. Yeah, a lot of young people. Yeah, and and I mean it's well, they're dancing. No, no, no, they went. That's my answer. Because she said she liked dancing and women. Yeah, no, they went. They was hoping. I was looking at the after party. But everybody was tired, so a lot of people didn't come to the after party. But yeah, I I left early. I ended up going to Dope Vibes event at Penthouse. And that was being out that's bad house. I ain't gonna lie to you, though. Penthouse getting a little young too, though. Like I went on a Friday and it was packed as fuck, but goodness, there was some young folks, and I was like, ooh, y'all some babies.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, like I seen that one time, it was packed as fuck. I said, Oh, we gotta go, we gotta go.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I mean, it's still straight, though. You you gotta catch the night, you know. I was like, I feel like maybe a Sunday night, you know, maybe Saturday, that's when you get the grown and sexy.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, Sunday is definitely grown and sexy night. So, what do you think is the biggest difference between the different age groups? Like, because you mentioned young and old, what do you think is the biggest like deal breaker or biggest thing that stands out between both age groups when it comes to a party?

SPEAKER_08

Uh, young people be wanting them sections. And that's the thing. They want sections, they want content. And you would think it's gonna dance because they're young. Yeah, yeah. Yes, you would expect that. Because I know when I was in my 20s, like, I was big as hell, but baby, I would throw in it, okay?

SPEAKER_05

Whole new generation now.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, it's like, you know, people don't, they don't, they be just wanting cute, you know, this and this. When I went to a couple older people, like spice, and I'm talking like, you know, 40 plus, um, they they was up there dancing. Uh-oh, what's the place? Um 54.

SPEAKER_04

54.

SPEAKER_09

Hey, you think he's wrong, and I was gonna say K knew that shit off back. DJ, I'm sorry, okay. First of all, I ain't never heard K talk so much about the podcast.

SPEAKER_02

My man got the man said. T Gold.

SPEAKER_09

He's there writing. I never heard this nigga talk.

SPEAKER_02

He did the old man point.

SPEAKER_08

TG. That's what it is. Baby, they dance in there, and that's what I like. You come in there. What you play, they they on that flow, okay? And it's full. And that's what I like. That's what I love. Yeah.

SPEAKER_12

We love the dancers.

The Real Business Behind Promotion

SPEAKER_05

Because you know, like you had mentioned it before about the business side of it, right? Because uh when you see a promoter or anybody who just, you know, in your lane, they don't understand, like how you said there's a whole business behind it that you gotta have. Like, so break that down, the business behind the party promotion and being a party promoter.

SPEAKER_08

Oh, yes. So first is budget. Gotta go first. First and foremost is budget. What's your budget? What you trying to do? Who you trying to bring? What how far are you trying to take this? You know, so that's that's the first and foremost. Once you get your budget together, then you'll know how you can kind of move a little bit better, you know, then try to reach out to everybody. Next is be DJs, because you want to, okay, what's what's this name of what's this event we about to do? What DJ gonna bring that vibe for this this thing that we trying to do? You know, go from there. Um, from there, you know, you just you have to, it's it's really just about the main thing is network, marketing, market, market, market, promoting, promoting, promoting, promoting. Um, I come from a time we used to have flyers, put them on cars, you know, go out, put car uh flyers in in gas stations and shit. You know, really trying to, I used to go to colleges, just go to the dorms, not even don't even go there, just go to the dorms and like, hey, I got an event this day. Come on now, you know, whoop the whoop. So it's just um, it's really just you gotta move strategically when it comes to throwing an event and you gotta be organized, you gotta know what you're doing. Um, make sure you got the money on point, you know, so you won't be sitting here stressing last minute. You know, I'm a person that I like to pay my DJs early. I pay my DJs like a week in advance. And, you know, I'll let them know like here you go, because I'm not trying to do that last minute shit. You know, I also, it's not about a lot of people throw parties and they just they just throw it just for people to come and have a good time. No, these are your customers. You have to look at it in a business side, these are your customers. You want word of mouth as promotion, free promotion, and you want to make sure your customers come back with other people. So you got to make sure that those people are taken care of. You know, as they come in, hello, how you doing? I'm Miss Jones. Thank you for coming. You know, it drinks over here, this and this. I do that as a host. When I'm hired as a host, I do that for other people. And for my events, I do it as well. As well, with my events, I give gifts. So, you know, like when people come into the Nolar Bounce, I got gifts for people. Oh shit. So, yeah, so it's like, you know, you're not, you know, thank you for spending your funds, thank you for everything. I want to provide something back to my people too.

SPEAKER_05

So Miss Zone.

SPEAKER_04

You got a gift for me?

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, you can give it. Yeah, you got a gift. Yeah, gift number size. Taurus loves a free gift. Taurus love a free gift. They'll take whatever you got to give. I'm trying to give you, man.

SPEAKER_08

I take care of people all the time. Yes. Is that your love language?

SPEAKER_05

My best friend. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Best friend, Miss Jones.

Open Mic Drama And Protecting Peace

SPEAKER_09

All right, let's get into this drama. Oh Lord. You have to take a little drama. We got drama. Let's talk about this open mic scene. Have you hosted one yet? And if you did, would you host one again?

SPEAKER_08

Open mic, yes. Um, I did Thursdays at uh I forgot the damn name. Um I forgot the name too. Sound about right.

SPEAKER_09

I know his name though. I definitely know his name.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, it was it was cool. Um wasn't aligned with me. And so when I feel like my peace is disturbed in anything in business, I gotta go.

SPEAKER_03

Yep.

SPEAKER_08

You know, I can't, I'm not gonna stop. Absolutely. I don't have to deal with no and I'm damn sure I ain't finna kiss no ass. You know, I'm gonna kiss. You say what she said. But yeah, so it's it wasn't aligned with me. It just wasn't there. It was like a small issue. And I was just like, you know, it's cool. Y'all good people, love them all. Um, see them to this day is still, you know. Business person, right? Uh, you know, give my hugs, you know, y'all good, but business standpoint, I'm good, you know. So would you do open mic again? Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure. I would do an open mic again. Um, just different.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, for sure. Just different. She said, I'm gonna put my intake on it. It ain't gonna just be me following as fast.

SPEAKER_08

Since you've been here, have you heard of training day? Training day?

SPEAKER_05

No, I don't think she has heard of training day. When you came out here, like three years. Yeah, training day been done for about yeah, about three years. Yeah, it's been about three years. Training day again.

SPEAKER_13

Last year, what are you talking about?

SPEAKER_05

Last year, no, it hasn't. No, it's still uh no it wasn't. Uh uh.

SPEAKER_13

2024. Y'all know something now?

SPEAKER_05

Be in 2026.

SPEAKER_13

Shit, we are. You have to see it's okay, baby. It's okay, baby.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_13

At the same time. At the same time.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah.

SPEAKER_13

Jasmine's just talking about that. About how time is just like speaking down.

SPEAKER_05

But training day is. Yeah, but training day uh until we ended it's the one well, one of the longest um running open mics out here. Running concurrently for about nah, it wasn't the first. No, but it was running concurrently for about like five years. About five years. So we we thinking about bringing it back, but it's a whole whole different ball game with training day. It's a whole movement. Like, yeah, it's crazy. Like I can I could go training days and say, yo, we go over here tomorrow, it should be packed. Like that's how crazy the training day movement is. Yeah, but I was saying when I um got introduced to you, I'm like, yeah, my let you and see. If I bring it back, I'd be up and down where I wake up and like I'm gonna do it and I go to sleep, but I don't want to do it no more.

SPEAKER_13

It'd be the artist. It'd be like that. It's not a lot of talent out there nowadays. Nah, not right now.

SPEAKER_05

No, not right now. Now, if the niggas came that was uh did pause pot and bars, if those type of artists come, yeah, I love training day. Yeah. But I just can't get with with with this, you know, this, I can't get with this new age rap and shit. I just can't do it.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I heard now when I did do the open mic, um, I have it was some fire artists. Um, some of them actually, you know, make because I'm real big on lyrics, you know. I hear that over beats any day. So it's just like it was some pretty good people. Uh, you know, I guess you just got to find them. I feel like they more low-key and underrated more than anything. Yeah, yeah. No, I forgot their name. I follow them on Instagram, though.

SPEAKER_05

Some of them don't even come out because they like that atmosphere is not for them. They're like, I'm not going there because they feel like, no, lack of a better term, they just feel like they just under them. Like these niggas are trash. I ain't going out there. It's no shade. Yeah, it's no shade. It's just, you know, it is what it is. Go fast.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_13

Well, I have a question for uh research purposes. Um and it's very random, but I really, I really want to know. Are you a squirter or a creamer?

SPEAKER_08

Creamer.

SPEAKER_02

You are? I'm a creamer.

SPEAKER_13

Oh, around the poor creamer.

SPEAKER_02

It just, you know, it ain't gonna go. It don't happen every time.

SPEAKER_13

Okay, okay, okay. Because I'm I'm I'm trying, I'm really trying to figure out if it's something that every woman or every woman can do, or if it's something that is like it's very like specific. Yeah. Because I personally I minored in human sexuality. So I thought it was very interesting that for a very long time after gestation, um, all of us are like XX female. So we don't take that transition till after around four four months. So if men ejaculate, women should be able to ejaculate. And the only thing that I've seen that's very close to ejaculating is squirting. So I want to know if everybody can do it or if it's something that's just random. It gotta be the right thing.

SPEAKER_09

It gotta be the right dick.

SPEAKER_08

You know what I'm saying? It gotta be the right shit. Everybody can do it. Somebody that knows learns your body and willing to learn your body. Um, I feel like you're having squirted before, but it was with somebody that was with eight years.

SPEAKER_13

Eight years, okay. That sounds about right.

SPEAKER_08

My question is, what do you prefer?

SPEAKER_09

What instead of what can you do?

SPEAKER_13

Do you prefer doing being a squirrel or do you prefer being a creamer? I like creaming. Look, I don't cream on dang. That's the role. I gotta I mean it was for research purposes though. That's a lady's name.

SPEAKER_08

Are you single? Yes, I'm very single.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, nigga, single. Make sure team pong.

SPEAKER_13

But see, are you single by choice or are you single because there's nobody that is up to your caliber? Have you set a standard to where you like I need you to be at this standard, or are you single because I really don't want to deal with anybody?

SPEAKER_08

It's really, it's really by choice, uh, to be honest with you. I mean, I I've met some people, it's it's really hard out here to be honest. Ain't it? It is hard. And then it's like, oh, it's four pennies. It's hard. And it's um, that's what I need, something hard. But you know, um, but uh, but it's it's just um it's really difficult out here for real. It's it's I don't know these men. And with what I do now, I feel like it makes it even harder because a lot of a lot of guys are intimidated. Um, like, oh, you hoes you out here with all these people doing this and this. And it's like, you know, I make time for who I want to make time for, no matter how busy I am, you know. And I I would love to make time for somebody, but you know, ain't nobody really am shit, you know.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, it's hard to be at that host.

SPEAKER_05

Well, on a uh promoter's note.

Best And Worst Promoters To Work

SPEAKER_13

I mean, we can go back, you know, we can double back. All right, so how would you describe your hosting style in three words?

SPEAKER_08

Um, energetic. Uh I guess I had to go with. I mean, high energy energetic is the same. Um, attentive because I love to, I'm always watching people. Um and uh fun. Yeah, I like I have fun.

SPEAKER_13

I I will admit I did enjoy when you were at Slingshot hosting. I only saw you a couple times. I was by the slings.

SPEAKER_05

Rest in peace to Slingshot, too.

SPEAKER_13

Right, rest in peace to slingshot. But your energy was very high. You did engage with the crowd and you encouraged the crowd to kind of like keep their energy high. So I enjoyed that because I hate to keep throwing the summer 16 under the bus, but I don't know who was hosting that. Yeah, I don't know who was hosting it. I don't know where the energy was, I don't know what a vibe was. We ended up leaving early because it definitely gave you know. You know how you yeah, yeah, you know how you sit on, yeah. You just came to look good. But like when you had your man, ass was shaking all night.

SPEAKER_08

Yes, and that's what I love. Oh, it truly makes me happy. Like, that's why I know I'm living.

SPEAKER_13

What song is that? CEO.

SPEAKER_08

No, no, no, that's gonna take a Cisco for a minute.

SPEAKER_06

Shit.

SPEAKER_09

This is a good question. Yeah, bounce. Come on, come on with it, come with it. If your personality was a bounce track, what would it be? Ooh, piggy the boat.

SPEAKER_08

Um, it's a sound, it's a common that's a common by nooski baby, and it's part of the bounce. It's like, ask me how I'm feeling today. Woke up with the money on my mind, I'm okay. But if I hate a second then it's fuck with, they stay real and they relate and you do the same thing.

SPEAKER_02

You know that sound?

SPEAKER_08

That's I would say that's my that's my soundtrack for sure.

SPEAKER_13

It's called Noobski Baby.

SPEAKER_08

It's called New Orleans Mouth.

SPEAKER_13

Okay, I found it. So, what is one thing that women in this industry need to stop doing immediately? Shit. Oh man. Immediately. Immediately. Immediately.

SPEAKER_08

Gossiping. That's true. I'm not a I'm not a gossiper. I don't I don't like that. I don't like drama. Um, but I haven't seen nobody with that. I can't say like not having no clothes on. Not that. Just stop being in competition. I would say to be nature, very appropriate. Competition. A lot of girls think they like better than everybody. That's true. It's like you have to you have to really be humble in this kind of game. Yeah. So it's like I feel like that's like the main thing. Like, you know, girl, no, I'm not in competition. Let's all be together. Like, let's make money together. That's what I'm about.

SPEAKER_13

Like, it's very hard to do. Listen, I'm quick to say I'm in my own lane on cruise control. Like, I just be chilling. I'm not, I don't compete or nah uh uh because it ain't it's no need. We weren't born to be the same. I hate a motherfucker that compete. I can't stand it.

SPEAKER_05

Work who's the worst promoter, co-promoter you ever worked with out here. Antoine.

SPEAKER_13

She said she never worked with him.

SPEAKER_08

That's a crazy question.

SPEAKER_05

Nope, it ain't crazy.

SPEAKER_13

She never worked with him. He's so messy. She never worked with him. If that's what you're talking about.

SPEAKER_05

No, I just wanted to know.

SPEAKER_08

Damn. Where's promoter?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, co-promoter.

SPEAKER_08

Um, co-promoter.

SPEAKER_05

I mean co-promoter.

SPEAKER_08

I I would say who uh who hired me. That was like difficult. Um difficult.

SPEAKER_13

This is no advisory.

SPEAKER_08

What do you say Kate? Goo?

SPEAKER_13

Goo. Who the fuck is goo? Is that the nigga from Disneyable Me? Never heard of John, you heard a goo?

SPEAKER_08

Um I wouldn't say that they was like the worst, but I say the the summer 16 people. Oh when I worked for them.

SPEAKER_10

What's the name? But tomorrow I love better luck.

SPEAKER_08

Now those my boys. Those my boys. What's his name? It was the summers, it was it was a group of them. But I think the only thing was that it just it took a long time to get paid. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that was just the only thing. It was good. They was good promoters. It was, you know, no. Nothing. Yeah, it was definitely packed. No, no, they did their thing. It just on the back end, it was it was a little bit difficult. But you know, yeah, that's it.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, see, bad business throws me off. I know that for a fact. Bad business thing, I ain't fucking with you.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's true. Can't do it. Can't do it.

SPEAKER_05

So who's the best promoter that you work with out your co-command?

SPEAKER_08

Man, that's a good one. I have worked, I would say my top, damn. My top would be definitely better luck tomorrow. I love it. Them boys are straight business. And um, I wish, and only thing though, better luck, get get me back on. Like, you know, they be getting a lot of guys hosting, you know, and I I'm no, I know I'm working on my. SPEAKER_08

Y'all know I love y'all. Like, come on, I'm ready to do the next event. Come on, you know, I'm gonna promote for y'all. Y'all know how I work. But um, better luck. Um we want Miss Jones. Dope vibes for sure. I love you. Um both of them together are amazing. I have to just say both of them together because they're good together. Dope vibes and true vibes, definitely like the same. It's dope brunch and true vibes um together. And they're good people. Um, and I have worked with when I worked with uh Prism, oh no, public activity. That's a number one that's my number one. I would say public activity over everybody. Shout out to DJ Ingenious. That's family. They do the home by 10 p.m. at Infinity Live. Oh, oh yeah. Yeah, yeah. And they um they're when I tell you straight business, like take care of the people that's there. Like, I I love it. Promote like heavy. Like when I went out before I even was hired, he was like, come out here, um, come see how we do, you know, and then if you like it, we'll love to have you, you know, this and this. Would they promo with me that same day? It was great. Now that's how you did the high business. Yes, book business. Great, great business. Absolutely.

Advice For New Hosts And Where To Find

SPEAKER_13

Well, we you know, I got one more question. And no, one more question. One more question. If somebody wants to get into creating events and hosting events, what would you recommend?

SPEAKER_08

First network, network, network, network. Um the thing about me, if I go out somewhere, I'm gonna get people Instagrams and I'm gonna go talk to them. I'm walking up to them, I'm introducing myself. I'm also reaching out to folks online and on the back end, letting them know like who I am. And if you're ever considering a host or something, you know, hit me up. Um, I will say that. Um, next is just do it. You know, I did my counter light event in February. I only had like 50 people, but you know, it was, I did it, you know, and it was a start. Cruise Drama And Entitlement Online

SPEAKER_09

Alright, we're back with the bounce breakdown with your girl. Well, we talk about the drama, the news, and the fucked up world we live in.

SPEAKER_00

Fucked up.

SPEAKER_09

Alright, so my hot take of the week is it is okay to not be the center. It is okay to not be the birthday, even though, in fact, that girl was the birthday girl that day. If you don't know, Ashley Everett has been the talk of threads this week about her getting kicked off the stage on the Virgin Boage creator cruise while dancing to single ladies. She was actually on the music video or Beyonce's music video for single ladies. She was the dancer. She stated that Virgin Boach was being very racist, but that is not the truth. Because as I've seen on threads, white people were getting kicked off as well. So they're not racist.

SPEAKER_11

It was not like folks off white.

SPEAKER_09

They were off the stage. Yeah. She wasn't the only one dancing on the stage.

SPEAKER_13

It was they want to see them twerking? No, that was just you know, you know how white people.

SPEAKER_05

So they got kicked off for just the being bland? Yeah, we yeah, we trying to figure out why.

SPEAKER_13

It was a safety issue.

SPEAKER_05

It was ropes.

SPEAKER_13

They was literally in front of the rope trying to get on the other side where the DJ was.

SPEAKER_09

So niggas breaking rules. Yeah, it was safety issues. So she just said that they didn't recognize it was her birthday. She's mad, she ain't get the center. You know what I'm saying? She wasn't the center. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_06

Oh shit.

SPEAKER_09

But she'll she she went on threads to go bash motherfuckers and then it turned around real quick on her ass. Cause don't nobody ain't nobody believed her.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, because all that entitlement shit. Exactly. Exactly. But a few more details, go search up Ashley Everett on Threads. You will see everything.

SPEAKER_09

But what I want to say is, y'all, go search her. But what I want to say is Virgin Voet. Add us to the list for the next creator cruise. Because we're not going to complain like her. We're going to we're going to have fun. We seen y'all took real care of the motherfuckers. I'm saying we want some drinks. We want some food. We want to get on a cruise. We know how to party. We're not going to complain.

SPEAKER_13

I don't think we know how to act, but I'm going to speak for myself. So invite no advice. I know how to catch.

SPEAKER_05

Just catch me at the bar. That's it. Invite us. Where you at the bar?

SPEAKER_09

I don't have a time. And I did apply. What? You know they were fucking. Hell yeah, y'all see the y'all response. She said, I want to see the content, but I also want to see what I'm saying. Cause y'all was fucking.

SPEAKER_05

They got on there for free, free drinks, all free food.

SPEAKER_09

Everything was free.

SPEAKER_05

I ain't know everything was free. Yes, everything was free. Everything was free. Yes, crazy.

SPEAKER_09

Hang on the free for three days.

SPEAKER_05

Three days.

SPEAKER_13

Three months like a day. Three days is enough. Drunken is enough. It's enough. You got drinks. You got man got no drink cap. Ain't no cap for drink cap.

SPEAKER_05

They was living it up. Julio.

SPEAKER_09

Like you know them niggas was turned and drunk and fucking on that damn shit. So I don't want to see any other content, but y'all fucking.

SPEAKER_05

Ain't nobody gonna pay for it. So you know, it's gonna be on the OnlyFans.

SPEAKER_13

I ain't paying for it. I watch it on Twitter.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Twitter is free, right?

SPEAKER_09

That shit is free.

SPEAKER_02

It's free.

The Celeste Hernandez Murder Update

SPEAKER_09

All right. Let's get into my breakdowns. If you don't remember, back in September, when I talked about the 14-year-old girl Celeste Hernandez body was found in D4 VDs. However, his name David's just David. David D4 VDs. However, y'all say that is me.

SPEAKER_05

It's David.

SPEAKER_09

It was his her body was basically in his was found in his trunk of his Tesla. And you know, at that time nobody was charged for her body if they were still investigating. But like I said in September, that nigga did it. That nigga did it. Allegedly, allegedly. No, that nigga did it.

SPEAKER_05

Allegedly.

SPEAKER_09

The singer David, real name David Anthony Burts, is now facing the possibility of the death penalty after being charged with first degree murder tied to the death of Celeste Hernandez.

SPEAKER_11

Innocent until proven guilty. Yep. Uh-huh. But what's crazy about this?

SPEAKER_09

They have also seen that he had other illegal content from minors in his phone. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Celeste's death was ruled as homicide, which obtained two wounds to the torso. One wound would poorly pierced her liver, while another entered her chest and impacted the rib area. There were also trauma to her hands, including amputations to fingers. Her head was partially skeletonized. Her left eye was missing. And this nigga, this nigga, pleaded not guilty. As he should. Fuck out of here. That nigga did it.

SPEAKER_13

Allegedly. Yeah, you gotta prove I'm guilty. You gotta prove I'm guilty. I listen, I'm not justifying or the body was in this nigga trunk.

SPEAKER_05

No, it was a call. It was a call registered to him. Listen before the death. I don't want you to. You can't be loud and wrong. It was dealing with her. It was registered to him. He was in concert on tour or something when the car was found. So I don't, you know, because they're they're niggas are fact-checking, go crazy in the comments on us. So I just want to make sure that you don't, you know, spew any shit that's you know. But it looks really, really bad on him because all the evidence is pointing to him that he did it.

SPEAKER_09

You know, relationship with her before the death.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, he had a tattoo. They had like matching tattoos and shit like that.

SPEAKER_13

I'm willing to bet money is one of the people in his entourage or one of his homies. I am willing to bet money on that. And I'm willing to bet money that it's coming back to him because you know, you know, when you got like somebody in your entourage, they ain't really got nothing. So everything they got is yours. So it's kind of like guilty by association. Yeah. But we'll see. We're gonna see for his preliminary. May 1st. It's set on May 1st. So we're gonna see on May 1st.

SPEAKER_05

But what's even crazy about that?

SPEAKER_13

Because he might have unless he paid him. Yeah, he might have been having, you know, in you know, relationship. He was 14, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Exposed him.

SPEAKER_05

Allegedly. No, she was 14. Yeah, I don't know. She was 14. That that is too far. I don't know. I don't know.

SPEAKER_13

But she doesn't want to expose him. But it was already exposed. It was all on all the chat streams and all kinds of stuff. He was ending it as soon as they was like, it's all kinds of evidence already. So but that was supposedly they were trying to say that she was pregnant before anything.

SPEAKER_02

That's correct.

SPEAKER_13

And then I suppose after she passed away.

SPEAKER_05

What's even crazy about that? He did like a whole concert with like um like like a I think it was like a burial or some shit.

SPEAKER_13

It was a music video that basically was emulating him killing someone. Yeah. A lot of it was about the girlfriend. He wrote a song named Celeste too. Yeah, it's crazy.

SPEAKER_05

It's gonna be when the trial happens, we're really gonna get like the the the gist of everything.

SPEAKER_13

It's giving OJ 2.0. It's crazy.

SPEAKER_05

It's crazy.

SPEAKER_13

Do y'all know that they said that 95% of the jewelers from the OJ case like lied and really thought OJ did it? They just didn't want to send a black man to jail.

SPEAKER_05

I always said that his son did it. I was all I'm all I'm never gonna not retract that. His son did it.

Missing Teen Talk And Runaway Risks

SPEAKER_09

All right, next. All right. Next thing I want to talk about. Um the next thing I want to write down is I don't know if you have been seen as in Charlotte. And Charlotte, for the ones that are in Charlotte.

SPEAKER_13

The 16-year-old girl that was missing in Charlotte. Not everybody, not everybody's on Charlotte. Oh, yeah. We do got a demographic. It'd be some people in Lagos. Somebody in Yugoslavia.

SPEAKER_05

Uh-huh. Shout out to Yugoslavia.

SPEAKER_11

Charlotte is in North Carolina, y'all.

SPEAKER_09

North Carolina. But it was a girl missing in Charlotte, North Carolina. 16-year-old girl. Her mother put it as missing, right? That she was missing. But CMPD stated that it was a runaway. So she went to the blogs giving more details of how it could be a missing child case, y'all. Let me tell y'all. Let me tell y'all the detail. Let me tell y'all the detail.

SPEAKER_03

Wait, how does it go to the city?

SPEAKER_09

So last she was last seen. The 16-year-old girl was last seen Tuesday night, April 14th. Mother works night shift, right? She wears night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Her nine-year-old son reported that the 16-year-old girl left the home at night with the bag. With the bag, she left. Okay, remember that? She left. Left when the mother arrived home, the 16-year-old child, electronics, were left behind. But her phone is restricted to where she can only talk to parents at 11 p.m. And the dad was out of country. The phone, restricted phone, was left, y'all. Remember that.

SPEAKER_11

Who was he at? Go ahead. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_09

So she stated that the daughter could possibly have another phone. Possibly have another phone. Remember that, y'all. Her child is an all-honour student and don't have no history of running away. Her close friends didn't know nothing about her disappearance. They didn't know nothing. Nothing. Alright? So to me, those details get very much runaway. As a runaway myself, it gets very much runaway. I didn't have a history of runaway. You don't have to have a history of runaway to be a motherfucking runaway. She took a bag. And so that just that you know that it was planned. She left a phone that she could not use. Her friends are definitely not gonna tell you where she's at. But what I'm saying is, what I'm saying is thank god that she is okay. She was a nearby county in North Carolina, but a family member.

SPEAKER_13

They found her?

SPEAKER_09

They did, they found her. She was she was with a family member. I just feel like she's seen her pictures all over the blaz. She's like I gotta get my ass home. She gotta get her ass home. So if y'all think the program was strict then, the program is definitely about to be strict after this shit. The mom about to be strigger than a motherfucker. But I'm saying, but what are y'all thoughts? What are y'all thoughts? What are y'all thoughts?

SPEAKER_05

On her running away.

SPEAKER_09

Do y'all think it was a runaway or a missing case?

SPEAKER_05

Oh, that was a oh, that was a runaway.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, oh yeah.

SPEAKER_05

That was nasty work. Yeah, I forgot about that shit. Yeah, that shit was all over. She was probably looking at the house.

SPEAKER_13

Was that the one that was like in the woods or something eating cheeses and shit? Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Watching it all unfold.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Like, look at these niggas.

SPEAKER_13

I did it. I ran away back in the day. I I climbed up a tree and watched everybody. Didn't nobody come looking for me. You did all that. Didn't nobody come looking for me? All I did was go across the street to my friend. No, I c I climbed up a tree because I feel like nobody was gonna climb up the tree to look for me, and nobody was going to look up in the tree for me. So like I waited. It was a couple hours, and then when I realized well, nobody come look for me, I walk home and I was all sad and miserable. Ain't nobody asked. Interesting.

SPEAKER_05

Do do do young men run away? Yeah, I rarely I rarely hear a recount of a of a boy or running away. A couple times.

SPEAKER_13

I think that when it comes to social media and stuff, and parents automatically like parents post, like I fell out with a friend because of this. She basically, it was like a debate on my page where she felt like, okay, the girl ran away. Who cares? Let her be in the streets. She wants to be grown. And there's a part of me that I honestly can't agree. But as a parent, your child may run away, but when it becomes days and now days, you may think something is wrong. Like at this point, they could be missing. Runaways turn into sex trap. Like that's big for sex trap. So yes, it could have been I wanted to get away. I'm gonna run away and go to the mall, but now somebody really got your daughter. So that could have also played a part. Somebody's just like I just try to stay shit. When it comes to shit like that, I hope you find your baby. Like I can't press any judgment on anyone.

SPEAKER_11

No shade.

SPEAKER_13

Oh, that's uh that's over 10 days. I mean, shit, I was gonna say.

SPEAKER_05

That's over 10 days. I mean, by law, what they consider like like missing. I know it's like a number.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah.

SPEAKER_12

And it's calling in.

SPEAKER_05

From calling in after 24 hours is considered missing.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, but the word the data runaway is always a big thing.

SPEAKER_09

That shit was planned. So that's why they carried it as a runaway and they didn't really help as much as they should.

SPEAKER_05

That's why the cops looked at it as a runaway.

SPEAKER_13

But what if she was like snatched in the process of running away? Like Charlotte is a hub. So it's like you can get anywhere from Charlotte. Like it just ain't safe out here for nobody's child. So, I mean, even if it was given runaway, it should have been like treated as a missing child.

SPEAKER_05

Well, you know how some some cops, I'm not gonna say all cops, some cops just don't want to do their job to the fullest extent. They just want to look at you know the preliminaries, like, okay, yeah, man, it looks like a runaway. But like Jasmine said, that runaway, like you said, could turn into okay, runaway is somebody in the car, whoof, take your gone.

SPEAKER_13

Now you ain't gonna make it home, girl. You stuck. Yeah, fucking every day. It's fucking every day for this money.

SPEAKER_08

Yes, you know, how they get on with them and stuff.

SPEAKER_05

We can't hear you, Miss Jones.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, it is important. It's important to be in your daughter's life, especially as a mother of two girls. Like, I always ask them, Are you okay? Yeah, what's going on? Talk to me. Because you know, I always tell them whatever you feel like talking about, I'm here. You know, if it's uncomfortable, let me know what you want to talk about. Because I don't, I know how I was as a child. I wanted to run away too. And that's because my parents didn't listen. So it was just like, you know, like I want to listen to my kid. Make sure you're straight, you know.

SPEAKER_05

That's great parenting advice. Absolutely. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_08

That part, that part.

Weight Bias In Dating And Attention

SPEAKER_09

All right. So my last thing is I have a question for everyone. When it comes to dating, because I seen this on a clip. Does size and weight matters how you're treated? And I asked that because I seen a clip of a woman. She um lost weight, and she stated when that sh when she was big, she had niggas, but they didn't take her serious because of her weight. And now that she has lost weight, niggas is all on her dick, you know what I'm saying? They they they all on her ass. That's accurate. That's true. So 100%.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah. My friend, my friend lost over 100 pounds, and like she was I thought she was very attractive before she lost all her weight. But uh, she definitely gets approached more now that she has lost her weight. Um, I would say men are in general are very shallow. They lead with looks, and I'm not saying that like it's a bad thing. I'm saying it because you know, most men have a preference and they base their preference off of something, whatever it is. Uh, but there's also men out here that like uh chubby women or like chubby chasers, we call it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like there's there's like fat conventions and shit like that where like men go to the conventions to look for women that are like, because I watch my 600-pound life, and there's men that go to these conventions to find women over 600 pounds so that they can like watch her eat and like so like there's somebody out there for everybody.

SPEAKER_02

I love it, yes.

SPEAKER_13

But a lot of men love getting a woman that has gone from one size down down to another size, and it's mainly because when you lose the weight but you still maintain your curves, you're thick in the right places, so it's more so like a fetish.

SPEAKER_05

Yep. I was gonna say that a fetish. Yep. I mean, it's like the Lizzo factor for some women.

SPEAKER_13

She looked good. Yeah, she looks good. But she looked good before and after, like that. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

But self consciously, because people was dragging her on the internet, and that did something to her conscience where she felt compelled enough to say, you know what? Shit, let me lose some of this weight.

SPEAKER_13

Now, how do you know she ain't just want to get healthy? No, that's when she wanted to get it. No, she definitely said it. She definitely said it. She said it.

SPEAKER_04

Listen, I speak facts.

SPEAKER_13

She definitely said it. Like Lizzo did become insecure towards the end. She started off strong. Yeah. Because I really just said that she lost her virginity in 2024 after she won a Grammy. But that's it. No, seriously, there's a whole conversation. Congratulations on how Lizzo and Scizor are compulsive liars. There's so much evidence. Oh god, dang. So much evidence. No, I I agree. I agree. It could be, it could be, but that's not amazing for people to believe her. Like what when I was young, I said I'm never gonna have sex until I win a Grammy. And then she did. I swear to God, the comments was going crazy. You never know. You never know. I couldn't believe that. No, I don't believe that bitch. She thinks I thought I don't believe shit nobody says. I don't believe nobody for nothing. Allegedly, she was forcing them girls to suck bananas and shit on the stage. Bitch, you've been fucking. Stop playing. I bet you wanted to see them fucking too. But I definitely think, I definitely think Americans in general are very shallow and they have a preference when it comes to body weight and size. But y'all know Americans, because there's people in Africa, there's people in Africa and other countries that really love thicker women. They love thicker women. No, they love, I feel like, yeah, African descent. They love thicker women, but European European descent really loves skinnier or smaller women, and they have really been pushing that image to society to where it's like, okay, we want all of y'all to look like this, and if you don't look like this, you're not necessarily pretty. And because that's the image that's being pushed with the models and all that shit, of course, that's what everybody looks at as men, as like, okay, well, that's beauty. But in my opinion, I feel like beauty comes in all shapes and all sizes. They do say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I I mean, very, very seldomly do I find a woman that's like a hundred percent ugly. I've never, I like, I'm not gonna say I've never, but like very seldomly do I find a woman that I'm like, God damn, you're your daddy's son. But like I see a lot of women, I'm like, oh my gosh, I can see the beauty in this person. So it's a hundred percent in the eye of the beholder. A lot of people find different things attractive and beautiful. So I don't wanna attest, like, say weight that has anything to do with that because I don't think it does. But there are people out here, I ain't gonna be naive. There are people out here that as soon as you over a certain weight class, they like, ooh.

SPEAKER_02

Father.

SPEAKER_10

I don't know, that's phone as black. My thing is how big was a lady? Because also, like you said, Lex, it depends on like size-wise. Some people they do discriminate and they go about it like, oh, I'll accept a big girl, but she can't be sloppy.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, that's true. I know when I was 500 pounds, like I had a lot of, I mean, I still had like ass and stuff, so I had more guys that wanted to kind of fuck more than actually be with me. And when I actually lost weight, then it was actually guys wanting to be in relationships and shit, and they still wanted to fuck, you know how niggas is. But you know, it was more guys that actually wanted to be in a relationship, so you know that that definitely was a a journey there going through being big as hell and just underfoot, you know. A lot of guys like the big girls, though. I love girls. I I came from a woman that's a big girl. Telling you, don't you smell good, you keep yourself up, baby.

SPEAKER_05

They love I'm getting some of this lamb chop.

SPEAKER_13

Baby. Not lamb chop, I'm dead. Have y'all heard that song by Mike Epps? It goes like I love big girls.

SPEAKER_08

Yes, I remember that song.

SPEAKER_13

I love that song. I love that song.

SPEAKER_08

Like funny as fuck. It is. I just watched the show with him and Drewski. That's so funny.

SPEAKER_09

No, that show was crazy.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I would love to see a Drewski and Mike X comedy like Skid or whatever they do. That that was that was made for TV. That was made for TV. But that was yes.

SPEAKER_13

Thank you, guess. You're bound to break down.

SPEAKER_05

What would you do? So, if y'all know my what would you do with my what would you do's are always accounts either I went through, somebody else went through, or something that I saw and I told about it. This one is something that I saw. I was gonna go with yours nine. I'm gonna say that one for next week now, because I had this one on my head.

SPEAKER_11

We don't know what you're talking about.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, me and I'm gonna go.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, say that. Right. That's what I'm saying. That's it.

SPEAKER_05

It's irrelevant, but I just wanted to acknowledge that to you, you know. All right, guys. So, what would you do? What would you do if you go on vacation? And you know, you're in a a nice neighborhood, you feel that all your neighbors are, you know, friendly and you get along with all your neighbors, you feel that way, right? And you're like, okay, fam, we're gonna go on a vacation. Um, you know, let's pack our things, let's get up out of here. You got like three cars, right? Um, and y'all got a two-car garage, but you know, obviously the other car can't fit in the garage. So you say, you know what, just park the car right in front of the neighbors uh driveway or from another driveway. Like, you know how some um houses they got the streets where cars are parked differently on the just on the street. Nobody bothered them. So you're like, yo, go park on the neighbor's uh sidewalk over there. Cool, you don't worry about it. Alright, boom. So what would you do? You go on a vacation, have a good time, on a Disney cruise, you're chilling, you have a complete time, you come back home. Like, okay, now you you don't even notice it. You go to the car, you're like, okay, car two cars there, and the other relative is like, wait, wait, wait, what's my car? Park it over there. So, what would you do? This was a TikTok. Nope. Maybe you didn't say okay. What would you do? You go, you notice the car is gone, and you knock on a neighbor's door. Like, hey neighbor, uh, you know the car. Mind you, y'all was gone, say a week. I was gone for about a week. Neighbor, uh where's my car that was uh, you know, I parked the car right there, you know, in front of the drink, you know, no no no. So what would you do if the neighbor said, I had your car towed? What would you do? That was a TikTok.

SPEAKER_10

No, that wasn't a TikTok.

SPEAKER_05

It was It was. Maybe it was on TikTok, but it was a fan, it was a it was a ticket. It was. But what would you do?

SPEAKER_13

And y'all stole it. I I would a hundred percent take her to small claims court, but outside of taking her to small claims court, I would allegedly have somebody pop at least two, three of her tires. The person that towed your car? Yeah, hell yeah. Oh, you're the Karen, huh? I'm getting it back in blood. I'm getting it. There's okay, so I have a complex where there's a sign that says you can tow people's cars. Call our number and my partner had their car towed. And to this day, we have been trying to figure out who towed or who called to toe get his car towed so that we can get it back in blood. Like I I a hundred percent believe in revenge. I'ma get my lick back by any means necessary. So if you got my car toed and you're confident with telling me I got you, yeah, I got it towed. Bet, bet, bitch. Bet it up. I got you. What'd you do, Jazz? Bet.

unknown

That's crazy.

SPEAKER_13

No, it ain't. Oh, yeah. Frustri won't take over automatically. So when I'm at the door and they say, if I'm at the door and they be like, oh, I got your car told. I'm gonna be confused at first. I'm gonna be like, excuse me? You did what? Why? She said I'm gonna go. Why? Tell me why, bitch. She's gonna be like, oh, because it was sitting in front of my property for seven days. Oh, you don't own the street. Now I'm about to call the police, and I promise you, you're gonna pay for my car to get out of the soul. It's a public parking. You should have bitch. It's that more shit. It gives parking.

SPEAKER_08

I don't know. The old me would have fought for real. I would have I would have beat some ass for real. But I don't know. I'm petty, so I would have done some petty shit. I I don't know what yet, but they would have woke up the next morning to some some some bullshit. You know, that would've fucked their house up or something. It was something would have happened for real. You gotta plot on it though.

SPEAKER_13

You don't know if they got cameras, so you gotta, you know, do a couple walks with the dog. Shit. Like scope out the scenery, man. When I tell y'all I'm vindicted, listen, I I'm going to get it back in blood by any means necessary. I'ma make sure ain't no cameras. I ain't gonna make listen. Allegedly. It's all alleged. Nah, you crazy.

SPEAKER_05

It's all alleged. I ain't listening. What but what would you do, Desh? That's your boy. What would you do?

SPEAKER_13

I'm gonna I'm gonna be like, you you got what toe? You got what?

SPEAKER_09

What toe? And I'm gonna walk away.

SPEAKER_13

Yep, I knew it.

unknown

I'm gonna walk away.

SPEAKER_11

I knew she was gonna walk away.

SPEAKER_09

I'm gonna walk away. But then I'm gonna go fuck her car up. I'm gonna go fuck her car. She ain't got a car.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_09

If she ain't got a car, I'm gonna go fuck the house up. I'm gonna knock the windows down and all that shit.

SPEAKER_13

You gotta make sure you're not on camera. Yeah, not punch the dog. Hell yeah. Anybody can get it. Anyone can get it.

SPEAKER_10

Hell yeah. What'd you do nine? Roger do nine. Okay, you tell me it's crazy. Specifically. Yep, yep, yep. I'm not desperate. Damn.

SPEAKER_13

Shot fire.

SPEAKER_10

Real real shit. If you tell me, oh, I told your car and you tell me that deliberately, hey, I'm calling CPS if you got kids. I'm calling H O A. I'm saying everything. This to make your life hell, because bitch, you make it my week hill. And if you knew it was my car, why the fuck you told it?

SPEAKER_13

Well, she didn't know. From the video, she didn't know. But to be fair, when you get your car told, it's at least$300 when you get it told. And if it's like$25 a day, ain't no, I gotta get it back in blood, man. I gotta get it back in blood. I ain't no way.

SPEAKER_09

That her crazy is violent as hell.

SPEAKER_10

So if you park your car, uh so your your friend, y'all go on vacation. But if you're gonna park in a dayhouse, you park like a neighbor's not your date. And the neighbor got your car told.

SPEAKER_05

Got your car told.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, and they they see you in the car. They tell you, oh, I told you.

SPEAKER_03

What you gonna do?

SPEAKER_10

So why would you park there for seven days?

SPEAKER_13

Where?

SPEAKER_05

If it's street parking, you could street parking, you could park anywhere, like yeah.

SPEAKER_13

It might have been two cars in front of my house already, so you had to park. I want to know what she told the tow people for them to come out and tow her shit. Unless it was blocking her driveway or something. Either way, yeah, that was a stolen call. What would you do?

SPEAKER_10

Uh charges to the game.

SPEAKER_13

Charge to the game?

SPEAKER_10

Yeah.

SPEAKER_13

She said she's a recovered trash out. She's a recovered trash out. So 100%. Yeah, you right, you right, Belle. Good answer, friend. You right. You're right. Yeah, goddammit.

SPEAKER_05

So what happened was, so yeah, she went and it was, mind you, the lady that uh she was talking with was an elderly lady, right? So she was like, the elderly lady said, you know, you was, you know, you parked in front of the I didn't know what car it was, so I have to told. So the lady was like, Well, that was my my car, and um, I had to pay money to get the car, so I'm gonna see you in small cleanse cork. And he walked away. The old lady said, Bitch, close the door.

SPEAKER_10

Oh, see, that's different. Uh mind you, she an old lady. I'd have more respect and decency, but then as soon as that bitch came out, ooh, ooh. No, fuck no.

SPEAKER_09

I know how fun about that one. Old folks is the most disrespect the most disrespect. Ain't no fuck, ain't no way. I done, man, I'm gonna punch that bitch on the face.

SPEAKER_13

My nigga always told me to respect my eldest road.

SPEAKER_12

I wanna do that.

SPEAKER_13

So I'll definitely leave with that. I'll definitely come to her front door with the most respect. But as soon as she like, yeah, I got your shit told. Oh, bitch, make this black. Both white. Uh mistake.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, but if they look black.

SPEAKER_13

I don't segregate with my anger because my anger does not segregate at all. Anybody can get it. I man, I even take my anger on no children. If it was a child, I mean we I gotta get it back in blood because at the end of the day, you know better. You know better. So listen, mind your business. Because why you who who who has the time to look up the number for the toe people and then call the toe people and then come up with an excuse for why they need to tell your shit and then wait for them to tell your shit and then with confidence. Then I gotta tell you. Oh, bitch, okay. All right. All right, I got you. I thought it was a band in or something. I don't know if you're gonna be able to do it I got you. So then no one right here let's say that she's gonna take it out on the kid. Anybody give me no anybody if not? I mean anybody can get it. Anybody can get it. Y'all, you listen, y'all. If you if you know, like I know these Gen Z kids, they're gonna take us right up out of here. They gonna take us right up out of here.

SPEAKER_08

You better, you better swing. My baby was bowling, I had a few kids trying to talk about her. Oh, I tried kids up and playing her.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, these kids is ruthless. These kids is ruthless, ain't no way. Bully. I don't know.

SPEAKER_09

I I ain't even gonna touch you too much. I'm gonna just push you on the ground. That's it.

SPEAKER_08

Shame of running, I just put my feet out.

SPEAKER_09

I was in high school, I was a senior high school, and I was still bullying them kids. I triple don't focus on my feet.

SPEAKER_13

I think anybody can get it.

SPEAKER_05

So listen, that was my what would you do? So, what would you do if you go on vacation? You come back from vacation and y'all parked your cars, but one car was parked on the street in front of a neighbor's house, and then you came home, neighbors came knock on the neighbor door, neighbor said they told your car away because we're sitting there too long. What the fuck are you gonna do?

SPEAKER_13

Let nobody tell y'all shit, man. Get your lick back.

SPEAKER_04

Get it back to done.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, in 2026, man. If shite if Pooch Icey can go get his lick back, and let me push ice out.

SPEAKER_05

Like with Pooh Shad.

SPEAKER_13

Man, for now, for now, I don't think man, listen. Let me tell you. Pooh Shicey's out for what, two months? It don't matter. He got his lick back. It's the principal. Shit, he's gonna walk. It's the principal. That was a spawn of principle. I'm not saying get caught. I'm not saying get caught. But what I'm saying is make sure you let people know they can't fuck with you. And if you can't let people know that they can't fuck with you legally, just yeah, yeah, yeah, they can always fuck with you. It's like a bully. It's like a bully. When you I mean, my parents told me when I was getting bullied at school, because it was a short period of time.

SPEAKER_09

You get bullied?

SPEAKER_13

I got bullied for a short period of time. When you get bullied, if you let them get away with it, they gonna keep it going. So you might as well just get it over with and throw a punch, get in trouble. We don't care. So yeah. And get beat up. No, I I ain't never got up. Hand on the Bible, I ain't never got beat up. Never ain't no ain't nobody in life can say they beat me up.

SPEAKER_09

I swear I beat up one.

SPEAKER_13

Ain't nobody in life can say they beat me up. God damn. I've lost one fight. I was a little bit. Promise, yes.

SPEAKER_09

Several.

SPEAKER_13

I used to I used to fight me. I can't count because I used to fight niggas for my little brother. I have a little brother. And my my little brother is quiet and he I wouldn't say he's soft, but like he don't defend himself. So you don't fight younger people. That's why you ain't never got beat up. Who's to beat on little kids? Who okay? So can we can we can we point? Can we can we stress the fact that nobody has tried to put their hands on me to fight me as an adult? Okay. So you ain't looking at it. So ain't no ain't no ain't nobody tried me.

SPEAKER_05

Nobody tried you.

SPEAKER_13

If you get tried, then that's on y'all because they automatically assume you can get tried. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Exactly. I feel like Lex will fight nowadays. She'll pill. She's a cowboy hat.

SPEAKER_05

She's gonna take that shit off quick.

SPEAKER_10

She got some swords at home.

SPEAKER_13

Try me. Yeah, Lex looks like the type of person that's and I and I'm licensed to carry. Please understand. I'm not and I know my gun law. Still carry. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know my gun law. Lex don't fight, she shoot.

unknown

Pew, pew, pew, pew, pew.

Communication Without Assumptions

SPEAKER_13

I might pistol whip, but yeah. Oh, pistol whip. Oh shit. Yeah. But I feel like that's illegal. So, you know, I'm gonna do it the legal way. Because I gotta be able to, I'm not going to jail for nobody. I can't do that. Yeah, you yeah, I'm not going to jail. All right, y'all. So you already know. My name is Lex Rated. And if you've been following the conversation I've been having over the last couple of weeks, it's already been a lot of bullshit. I feel like the first week of April, I spoke about uh dating and unrealistic expectations. Last week I spoke about emotional accountability, and now I want to get into something that ties both of these things together in a very real way. Because many of the issues we've talked about don't even stem from bad intentions, they come from poor communication. And I think people underestimate how much damage assumptions can actually do. Because somewhere along the way, people started expecting others to just know things, know how you feel, know what you need, know what bothered you, and they don't know now that it's a problem. Because back in the day, you could just go and assume that somebody is upset with you and just keep it pushing. Now people are becoming a little bit more emotional and volatile with their emotions. So if we're being honest, most people are not mind readers, right? And expecting someone to just figure it out without saying anything, that's not communication. That's a setup. And then when other people don't meet the unspoken expectations, now you're frustrated, now you're distant, now your energy is off, and the other person is sitting there confused, trying to figure out what changed. And this is where passive behavior starts to show up. Not saying what you feel, but acting differently, getting quiet instead of getting clear, throwing little comments instead of having real conversations, and then calling all of this communication or your form of communication, but it's not communication, it's avoidance. Because real communication requires you say things that might feel uncomfortable, and that's what most people try to avoid uncomfortability, right? People don't avoid communication because they don't know how to communicate, they avoid it because they don't want the outcome and what comes with communicating. They don't want the conflict, they don't want the rejection, they don't want to hear something they're not ready to hear yet. So instead of being direct, they say, um, well, this is just how I communicate. They stay silent, they let assumptions do the talking instead of being specific. And assumptions are dangerous because once you assume something, you start reacting to it like it's true. You create a whole story in your head and then respond to that story rather than the reality of the matter, and now you're upset about something that may not even be real. Perception isn't always reality, and that's how situations exclate escalate. Excuse me, I was talking about the car. Not because something major happened, but because something small was never addressed. And this is where communication and emotional intelligence connect, right? Because it takes emotional awareness to say, before I react, let me clarify. Instead of assuming someone's intent, let me ask. Instead of building a story, let's get the facts because many problems can be solved with one obvious one honest conversation. Excuse me. People would rather be stay confused than be uncomfortable for five minutes. And these are facts. Nobody likes to be uncomfortable, and that's the real problem. Another thing people don't talk about is how people listen. Because communication is not just about what you say, it's about how you receive it. Are you actually listening, or are you just waiting for your turn to respond to what the person has to say? Are you trying to understand what they're saying, or are you just trying to defend yourself? Why do you feel like you need to defend yourself? Is it because a lot of the conversations fail before they even start? Or is it because nobody is actually listening and you can tell that they're not listening? Everybody is talking, but nobody is processing the information being spoken. And then both people walk away feeling unheard. And now there's tension. Not because there was no communication at all, but because it was ineffective. And if we're being real, some people don't communicate clearly on purpose. They hint, they test, they expect you to read in between the lines of what they're saying, and when you don't, they take it personally. But clear communication requires clarity within yourself. Say what you mean and mean what you say, and give people a fair chance to meet you where you are and where you stand, because you can't hold someone accountable for something you never expressed to them. It's not fair and it's not realistic. And I think a lot of people need to sit with that. Not because it's easy to say they should have known, but because if you never said it, how would they know? And that's where a lot of connections start to break down. Not from the lack of care, but the lack of clarity. So moving forward, before you assume, before you react, before you shut down, ask yourself one question Did I actually communicate this or did I expect them to figure it out? Because the answer matters, not only to yourself, but to the person that you're communicating with. And it can change the entire outcome of the situation. And that's not all I'm saying when it comes to communicating. It's all about well, it's not it's not all about calling somebody out or feeling like you're being honest or feeling like you're just being real. It's about being real about how you show up to the conversation and how you're being met in that conversation. Because better communication creates better understanding, and better understanding creates better connections. So, family, it's Lex rated. And if I made you think a little bit differently about how you communicate, then we're getting somewhere this month, and I'm very proud of y'all.

SPEAKER_02

I felt like that whole shit was based on our mooding.

SPEAKER_13

No, it's based. Like I I had on, I I plan out my month segments beforehand, and it's just crazy how things have been flowing and fall right into fucking place. I hate to do this to you. Why the fuck are you an hour late? I don't care. Hottie for a hottie, please. I'm I'm not putting it.

SPEAKER_02

My girl was dying over here, yo. Okay.

SPEAKER_13

I came here knowing she was dying over here. I ain't got it, you got it. And if he pull out that book bag and ain't got what I need, I'm getting up and walking away. It's okay.

SPEAKER_04

Yep.

SPEAKER_05

It's okay. I tell you, my girl was dying over here. She was her friend. Well, hold on, hold on, hold on. Let's let Lex Lex properly, you know, end this.

SPEAKER_13

Like I said, I had to start with properly in your segment. Yeah, you're fine. I mean, you said you you think it's based on yeah, you can't. It's based on the me and and I I will be transparent, y'all. I felt the way after the meeting. I was conflicted. I'm the type of person that will sit back and watch everything and think to myself, well, should I say something or should I just shut my fat ass up? And most of the time, I just shut my fat ass up because I'd be like, you know, some people aren't ready for what you have to say, but I love y'all. So I felt like I needed to say something. Yes. But again, the segment was not about y'all, it's about people in general. A lot of the people that I encounter, I've noticed that they listen to respond. They don't listen to actively hear you. And I've been learning just from communicating with different people that active listening isn't something that is taught to us. If I have a conversation with you and you can't start your response with, oh, so what you're saying is X, Y, and Z, and I can understand what you're saying, it it makes me feel like you weren't listening to what I said. If you yeah, they can't. Like if you can't, if you can't put what I just said to you in layman's terms or in terms that you understand and repeat it back to me, and it might just be how my brain works. I feel like you're not listening to me. I feel like it's just going in one ear and out the other. Because again, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have ADHD, so half the time I really don't be listening. Half the time it's like five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven different things going on in my brain while people are talking to me. But if I'm looking at you and I'm watching your mouth move, I'm listening to you. And if I, as somebody with ADHD, can focus on what you're saying and comprehend what you're saying, please give me the same respect.

SPEAKER_05

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

And that's a that's a big one. Because I think a lot of us, pause.

SPEAKER_05

A lot of us don't know how to properly communicate or receive the communication and then know how to, you know, give the communication back properly. You know, some like, you know, so yeah. Yeah, so can I ask this though? Yes, go ahead.

SPEAKER_10

Can I ask a question?

SPEAKER_05

Absolutely gotta ask.

SPEAKER_10

Uh so my question is more so, Marjorie, I'm personally HD myself on the spectrum. Not too crazy, but hey, crazy now.

SPEAKER_13

We all got a little bit of teasing.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, for me, I don't look at people um like directly when they're talking, unless like I have to. Like, but if I'm looking down or such, that's when I'm mainly actively listening. But if I'm like looking directly at somebody, I'm gonna zone out. So, like for your segment and everything, like, how would you take that as far as would you take that as being disrespectful or respect as well? Because I am actively listening, it's just not the way someone else would actively listen.

SPEAKER_13

I I think I think the response really uh dictates whether or not you are actively listening. Um, and I only say that because my my mother and everybody that knows me, like truly knows me, knows that when people are talking, I watch their mouths. I watch their mouths move and I I watch the words come out of their mouth, and it's it's how I focus on what you're saying. But a lot of people they get distracted by the person and what's going on, so they do look down to kind of narrow their thought process. So where you're looking, you don't always have to make eye contact to be actively listening to someone. It's your ability to be able to hear what I'm saying, not only repeat it back to me, but acknowledge that, okay, I understand where you're coming from. And this is where my thoughts lie based on where you're coming from. Because I think the big issue within our generation now is that we're leading with emotion as well as like feeling like, okay, well, I feel this way, so this is how I feel. And you're you're supposed to know how I feel based on what you make me feel like. And because all of us have different upbringings, not all of us can ignore. Knowledge or be aware of how people feel based on their personal experience. A lot of us might have had parents that didn't listen to us and always overspoke us or told us to say in a child's place to where we feel like, okay, you're not listening to us. And then a lot of us might have also had parents that allowed you to do whatever you want, but within reason. Like you can only do what we allow you to do. So when people try to control you or keep you constricted, it triggers something to where it's like you're trying to control me. Everybody has different experiences while they're coming up. So it's important to listen to what the person is saying so you can understand that what they're experiencing and be able to kind of like, okay, I understand where you're coming from. You feel like X, Y, and Z. Either I apologize or taking that into consideration, this is how I'm gonna communicate with you. It's kind of like when people started learning about those love languages and shit, and people started taking the love languages and actually adapting those into their relationship. Like if you found out a person's love language is a physical touch, you make sure to like just walk by them and you know put their your hand on their back or something. Or if you know that their love language is words of affirmation, you make sure to throw a compliment out there. If you know the way a person communicates is they need to be able to get out what they say, and they might not mean no harm by it, but they need to get it out so they can feel like they're being hurt. Sit there and listen to them. But if you also know that the way you communicate is going back and forth in like a debating style to where you have something to say to everything, be able to communicate that. Like, hey, I get what you're saying, but I don't necessarily agree. It is just all about learning people and and and being able to communicate to all different types of people. And that comes from understanding that we're not all the same.

SPEAKER_08

I also feel like it's a way, it's a way of how you communicate as well. Because if energy is everything, you can come to somebody try to talk about how you feel, but you come with it with like straight attitude. Ain't nobody gonna listen to that because you coming straight at them with negative energy, you know what I mean? So I always feel like that's also a certain way. I mean, it's great to also listen and come with people, but it's it's you gotta also present it a way that people will be like, okay, you gotta present it calmly. Some people can be like, okay, I'm gonna listen to you because you're coming at me calm. Don't come at me with no crazy stuff and expect me to listen to you, you know. So like I feel like, you know, it plays a both a good part on both to be able to understand how to communicate effectively, to be able to have that that great energy between each other to where you can't listen to, understand, and not listen to respond. So I love your sense.

SPEAKER_13

So, like, if you're trying to get a point across, maintain a calm and like, you know, tone to where it's like, okay, this person isn't becoming either defensive or aggressive. Because once you become aggressive, naturally, as humans, we just we just stop fucking listening. I talk calm. People still don't listen. I was just saying it's a thing. Like when people articulate and accentuate and talk slow as you're makes you feel like what? I have family members.

SPEAKER_10

I feel like I gotta yell for you to listen to me.

SPEAKER_09

Shut the fuck up. I have family that's literally Mom.

SPEAKER_10

I feel like you're speaking to me as if I'm a child. And it's like, no, I'm just trying to reiterate and try to enunciate to make sure that you understand what I'm saying, but also to make sure that you get it that we're just having a conversation. I'm not yelling with you. I'm not, you know, having an argument. But yeah, that's start a whole argument itself.

SPEAKER_08

I feel like that's a them problem, though. They have to kind of understand how to really take it. Yeah, yeah, you gotta understand.

SPEAKER_13

You don't know how it is or how they're gonna take it, or just certain things. It's all a learning lesson. It's all about getting it. 100%. It's like it's like Goldilocks and three bears. You gotta try different things to see what works out. I tell people all the time I'm a master manipulator, but I'm only a master manipulator because I pay attention to people and I pay attention to what caters to them. I I used to be a people pleaser. I used to be the person that would adjust who I am and how I act in order for situations to maintain sensibility. Okay. So I tell people I'm a master manipulator because uh, as soon as I figure out how you like to communicate, or as soon as I figure out what your triggers are, or I figure out what bothers you, I'm either gonna avoid it or I'm gonna push those fucking buttons. And I'm mixing my control over a situation, so it's a good it's a it's a good and a bad thing. It's a good and a bad thing. My mother used to always tell me, you never let people know how smart you are. You can be the smartest person in the room, but you never let people know how smart you are. And what I mean by that is if you're sitting back and you're paying attention to how people communicate and use how they communicate to either mellow them the fuck out or get them to turn up when you need them to, it's not necessarily a bad thing. I mean, it depends on how you use it. If you're a villain, you're a villain. But if you're out here using your powers for good, then use them for good. I think it's important to just pay attention to the people that you're around and be cognizant of the fact that like not everybody communicates the same. But just because that individual person does not communicate the same way as you do not mean that you can't learn how they communicate and vice versa. Unless it's a narcissist.

SPEAKER_08

Oh, yeah, you can't say you can't communicate at all with the motherfuckers.

SPEAKER_13

Different people communicate differently. Can't stand a Capricorn ass nigga. All right, closing it out or just going on to the next. Yes, we're definitely closing it out. I apologize for the long-winded segment, y'all. It's okay.

SPEAKER_12

I'll just fix it.

SPEAKER_13

But you you already know it's the biggest motherfucking Aquarius. I'll always make sure everybody knows that I'm an Aquarius because at the end of the day, I got a lot of shit to say. Yeah. Alright, you guys. That shit kind of long today. The the applause.

SPEAKER_07

That's what she said. That's what she thinks.

Words Of The Week Vocabulary Game

SPEAKER_13

He wanted to make sure you felt it. That's funny. But yes, it's your girl, Jasmine, like the motherfucking flower. And I'm here back with words of the week, the segment where we dress your vocabulary in silk. We talk nice, and we uh we choke on our marijuana.

SPEAKER_11

All right.

SPEAKER_13

The first word that we're gonna go into today is ostentatious.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, I heard that before.

SPEAKER_11

I've heard this before.

SPEAKER_07

That's that uh that's that Ronald Osley song.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, yep. So I think just touch me, baby.

SPEAKER_05

I don't think it was ostentation.

SPEAKER_13

No, I think it's not.

SPEAKER_04

No, contagious touch.

SPEAKER_13

No, it's not easy. It's contagious. I'm just I'm just gonna be on the city. Okay, no, no, no. Okay, y'all listen.

SPEAKER_11

Y'all really buzz?

SPEAKER_13

I'm crying. It's so contagious. Y'all funny as fuck. Okay, so the word is ostentatious. It's spelled O-S T E N T I O-U-S. It's an adjective and the Latin word is ostentare, meaning to display. So, does anyone want to take any guesses on what ostentatious may mean?

SPEAKER_07

I'm just saying, if y'all ain't heard this all, just say that.

SPEAKER_13

I feel like I feel like ostentatious means like where you're like um it's giving Leo energy where you need to be seen and you need to be put on display and you need to stand out, or you feel like you want to stand out. That's what I feel like because I've heard this word before, I've used it, but I just don't know the definition.

SPEAKER_07

Okay, I think it's in a in a sense. So in a system we listening, we listening.

SPEAKER_13

Miss Jones booty is ostentatious. That shit, ostentatious facts, y'all. That's not what it means, though, friend. Not what it means. It looked like you could. Well, it's close.

SPEAKER_10

That's him. No, I'm not. I thought you were about to say it. Uh ostentatious.

SPEAKER_13

Ostentatious. Ostentatious.

SPEAKER_10

Okay, ostentatious. I think it means more so along the lines of I wouldn't say necessarily like a display, but like it seems like something that's outrageous or like out of uh out of whack or something in that sorts.

unknown

I don't know.

SPEAKER_07

Wearing revealing clothes, borderline nudist.

SPEAKER_10

Ah, I like that one. That's a good guess.

SPEAKER_13

He's been guessing reading the dictionary. He's been does anybody else want to take any guesses before I let you know what the definition is? I feel like all of our clubs is right.

SPEAKER_05

He's been gone.

SPEAKER_13

The root word is ostentatious. The root word is ostentati, meaning to display. You need a mic, friend. Whatever that shit is.

SPEAKER_05

Look at his eyes. Right, so you had.

SPEAKER_07

You need to chill on that. Yeah, you need to chill on that. I swear to god, that shit had me sweaking.

SPEAKER_13

This shit two cups made me feel like I had a whole bottle.

SPEAKER_07

Throwing up hell and shit.

SPEAKER_13

You only like 130 pounds.

SPEAKER_07

All the weight in one place.

SPEAKER_13

Listen to my friend, y'all. Listen to my friend. Yo, come by, Switch. Get out.

SPEAKER_01

Go ahead, Stephanie. It's like, I don't know, I feel like it's like expressing yourself in like an overly dramatic way.

SPEAKER_07

I like that. I like that.

SPEAKER_13

I think he read the dictionary from the book. Yeah, and the best thing. I know I don't heard that word before. So basically the definition is designed to impress, attract, notice, often in a showy or excessive way. Yeah, swish and seven both together.

SPEAKER_02

Let's bring this. No, I know.

SPEAKER_13

Anybody want to use it in a sentence before I say my sentence? Nah, go ahead. I want to hear your sentence. He thought it was really a flex, but that nigga came off overly ostentatious.

SPEAKER_04

Overly ostentatious.

SPEAKER_07

He pulled up in his boxes or something.

SPEAKER_13

Nah, like he pulled up in his friend car, talking about, oh, that's mine, knowing it ain't yours. Oh, niggas before.

SPEAKER_07

Yes, we definitely do. We definitely do still do that. What the fuck?

SPEAKER_13

Damn space.

SPEAKER_07

If your homie lets you use his whip, yeah. I can trade whips out.

SPEAKER_13

You know what I'm saying? Okay. The next word we're gonna get into today. Everyone listening, the word is profligate. Profligate is a noun.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I think you did. Yeah. I remember that. I remember profligate. What is it? I don't know. I don't know.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

You don't go to the notes.

SPEAKER_13

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

You didn't read that one point. I did. Yeah, yeah. What it means.

SPEAKER_13

Go ahead again.

SPEAKER_04

What did it mean again? What did it mean? I don't know. Well let me tell you. Okay. Okay, blood. It's a now.

SPEAKER_13

Don't tell me I did this one too. No, I don't think you did it all this. No, I didn't do this. No, no, no. No, I don't reuse my cards, but I have a pile of cards because I wanted to do the quiz, so maybe one of them got mixed in with the other one. Okay. Yeah, yeah. But um, the next word is knobles oblige.

SPEAKER_04

Wow.

SPEAKER_13

Nobles oblige. It is. It's a noun.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah.

unknown

It's a thing.

SPEAKER_05

I'm cheating. I still don't know what the fuck it means. Good, because I wrote kind of sloppy. Noble. Nobles oblige.

SPEAKER_13

Nobles oblige. It comes from a French phrase meaning nobility obligates. And it's tied to um aristocratic values. I don't know.

SPEAKER_07

I was gonna say I was gonna say it was goddamn. That's a dude. So it's not a person, it's not a person. What did it say? Nobless obliged. Can I tell you what it sounds like? Uh oh. It might not be the definition, but it's what it sounds like. What it sound like? It sounds like Mary J. Blige, what they used to call Mary J. Blige before she knew how to give head.

SPEAKER_13

Noblist oblige. Thank you. With him, you guys. I I think it means just a legendary honoring. Honoring. Okay, I like that.

SPEAKER_04

Honoring.

SPEAKER_13

Honory. Honoring. Honoring. Honoring. Honory.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, she cheated?

SPEAKER_13

No, I didn't cheat.

SPEAKER_04

Honorary? Or honored.

SPEAKER_13

You showed us your home screen. What'd that mean? I didn't cheat. I don't take you for a cheater, but I don't know. I didn't cheat. I just I just feel like I feel like both of the words in combination have something to do with the standing or or like, you know, how you present yourself to the world, where where you're, you know, you know. I don't know. I agree. You say I'm sure. Does anybody else want to take any guesses? Someone in the comments said honoring nobles. Honoring nobles. Getting there. You get in there for honoring nobles? Nah, do you want to um take a guess? You don't want to take a guess now. So the definition is That's a word. You take a guess? You need a mic. Nobles oblige.

SPEAKER_05

Nobles oblige.

SPEAKER_13

A French phrase meaning nobility obligates.

unknown

Nobility.

SPEAKER_13

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_05

Come on, nigga, get it right.

SPEAKER_13

He really smart as hell, y'all. He be tapping in. Low key. He's a lyricist. Nobles obliged. Yeah, we know what oblige means. Nobles.

SPEAKER_01

They say nobility means.

SPEAKER_13

Nobility obligate. Sorry, it's the weed now. I'm excited. God damn. She's back, baby. Get in my lungs. I'm really honest. Somebody, somebody who I'm I'll be honest with y'all. I really need marijuana as a medical thing. Like, it really does. Like, I've been smoking for a very, very long time. And yes, it is a mask, but it's a coping mess mechanism. I'm really not myself if I don't smoke. So you guys are like, she was going twitching and shit.

SPEAKER_07

What's the word? Somebody, somebody who wants credit for doing good things.

SPEAKER_13

Nope.

SPEAKER_07

Okay.

SPEAKER_13

But I like what you're going for. Let him peek into his brain. I like it. I like it. Stimulate that brain, baby.

SPEAKER_01

Is it like coming off?

SPEAKER_05

Go seven.

SPEAKER_01

Is it uh what is it? Uh now and what is it? It's a noun, yes. It's like I don't know. It sounds like somebody, it sounds like somebody feel like that's their responsibility or something. Like a it sounds like a He trying to oblige, that's what he is.

SPEAKER_13

He's really going somewhere. That's what I'm like.

SPEAKER_01

It sounds like that person think that that's they they place. You get what I'm saying? I don't know how it really did it as far as I can go. It sounds like that's the gist of it. Yeah, like this this person feels like they are the You the birthday. You the birthday. You the birthday, you the birthday moment. It's like they allocated to do that. That's the oblige part. It's like you are the smart one. Like speak up where we're gonna be.

SPEAKER_13

I'm gonna let Nye go first and then I'm gonna tell you guys what the definition is.

SPEAKER_10

It's a sentence.

SPEAKER_05

So that's some smart drunk motherfuckers ahead today.

SPEAKER_10

Somebody say that he was dested, but Barack Obama always believed that he was Nables Obliged to become president.

SPEAKER_13

Nah. I don't think they're it sounded like it was sounded in my head. The actual definition to this word, Nabless Oblige, somebody said, or nobles giving honor. So we it's somewhere in that. We'll say the idea that those with wealth or power have a duty to act generous generously and responsibly.

SPEAKER_10

He gave seven positions.

SPEAKER_13

Pretty much. Like if you have, so it's the idea though. It's the idea that people with wealth and power have to act a certain way, they have to act generously and responsibly. Yeah, it's like we're looking up to you. You the one that gotta do it first. Like, that's that knoblish oblige.

SPEAKER_01

Like, I'm gonna guys for this.

SPEAKER_04

That's a word. What is it?

SPEAKER_13

I would say if you're gonna live amongst the rich and famous, at least understand knobless oblige. Because I'm gonna be rich and famous one day. So this is some shit I gotta know, baby.

SPEAKER_03

Gotta know this.

SPEAKER_13

I don't want to be famous.

SPEAKER_05

Me both. Yeah, you did. Yeah, yeah. You got that shit.

Hyperinflation And Living Together To Save

SPEAKER_13

I really wish y'all could see my friend because he is so smart over your name. All right. The next word is hyperinflationary, and it's an adjective. Hyperinflationary is spelled H Y P E R. I'm a cheat. Hyperinflationary.

SPEAKER_04

Hyperinflationary.

SPEAKER_13

I mean, if you if you use both, if you yeah, if you use, if you know what hyper is, hyper means to uh boost up, to increase or whatever. And then inflationary means like still got some goddamn increase. So they kind of sound like synonyms. So I mean, I feel like it means to like either boost up morale or boost up your uh not uh I wouldn't say your opinion on yourself, but like to gas yourself up. That's my guess. You got a guess? He over here bicking back boolin. I like that bicking back booling. He's picking back cooling, just if y'all ain't get that. If y'all ain't get it. All right, so um this is explaining. Right, right. Coming from um get that. The root is basically hyper, which is excessive, plus inflation, and this is tied to an economic collapse that happened in Zimbabwe. So it's basically just saying that this is relating to extremely rapid and out-of-control inflation, which is something we're experiencing right now, which is why I wanted to talk about it. I mean, gas is crazy. The price of living is so fucking high, and in North Carolina, y'all get paid$8 an hour. Ain't nobody doing this. It's like, what? I mean, I don't know where you got eight from. I at least 15. At least that's still ain't shit. I mean, it isn't eight the minimum wage. I'm just saying, I don't know if you're but really a true. I don't know. No, it's not. I feel like eight something's below ten dollars. We need to learn for the Europeans and the Mexicans and live together in one house. We can buy one mansion and how about four or five families in them. I mean, if you're trying to save money, you can't come on now. Like four, five of us in a mansion with like the baddies. A whole bunch of baddies in our in a mansion that brings up. I crossed a post the other day on the Charlotte page, and the caption literally said individualistic or collectivism, which is what this was the caption, and the whole post was Mexicans, you know, they go and buy a house or rent a house, six bedrooms. There's 12 people living in there because they're sharing rooms. Um, and they're doing this for a year. What they do is out that year, everybody chips in, but one month out the year, you don't have to pay your portion of the rent. So everyone has that one free month, and you're still chipping in. You're not you're paying a hundred fucking dollars for rent. Like, that's really the way to do it, but can we stomach it? No, because we want to argue with folks not in the house. I have OCD real bad. If the dishes is dirty and my shit, I'm mad. So it's like this one, I just can't, but can I really? That's really what the I like black folks in general, and I not to make this erase thing, but it really is black folks. But black black folks in general have like a get ahead mindset. Like, I wanna I wanna get ahead, I want to be on the next level. They don't like working together. There's a competitive mindset, it's a competitive mindset, and it's been that way for generations and generations. Like, I mean, I wish I could live with some of my family members. I don't like y'all, but like if it was like a couple of floors that separated us, yeah. Like I would five motherfuckers up. Yeah, if it was something to separate us, and I don't really gotta put up with y'all, and like you got you, you know, you can be in the kitchen from five to seven, and I could be in the kitchen from seven to seven. Like, I could I could save a couple of dollars and like sacrifice for that. But like, nah, black folks ain't trying to do that. Okay, so this is so off track. But when you guys get into a polygamous situation, it's like a family, but y'all all get to still have sex with each other. All of y'all, all of y'all depends on which levels you're in. Because there's times with the baby. There's times that you there's times you don't. That's a lot of that's a lot of H A S T D H. But you can have much of you don't know. You can all have different bedrooms, but there are common incomes in the house. Y'all taking care of these motherfucking kids. If somebody would like to have two partners, I am available. We can share income. She's serious. Let's stop. We can share incomes. We can get a house together. I co-sign, you co-sign, we live together for maybe a little bit of time. If you got kids, I limit it to three. You know? We can make something so fucking rough out here. Hit me with all the lavender relationships. Bring the money. Bring the money. Thank you. Let's work together at the end of the day. All right, my last word of the night. You know, so the definition is relating or relate. This is hyperinflationary, y'all. Let's get back on track. Relating to extremely rapid and out of control inflation.

SPEAKER_04
