Jay Breezy On Charlotte Hip Hop And Building A Brand
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Somebody puts a “Parking Violation” on your windshield and your stomach drops. Then you read it and realize it’s a music promo, and you’re laughing while you pull your phone out anyway. That’s the kind of creative, gritty, Charlotte energy we get into with our guest Jay Breezy, one half of the Wicked Boys and an artist who’s serious about craft, motion, and getting seen without begging for attention.
We talk Charlotte hip hop from the inside: what “North Charlotte” really means, why the city doesn’t have one unified sound, and how that can be both a blessing and a challenge for independent artists trying to stand out. Jay breaks down his influences, how he writes, why he’s not a “punch in” artist by default, and what he’s pushing right now, including “Get It Get It.” We also talk about the DJs who helped put his music in the right rooms and the ones who actually share the game instead of gatekeeping it.
Then the conversation takes a turn you won’t forget. Jay tells the full story of seeing two little girls running toward traffic late at night near Sugar Creek and WT Harris, making a U turn, and staying with them until help arrived. It’s a real life moment that says more about character than any bio ever could. After that, we jump into our wild group segments: business professionalism, rollout culture, news, aliens, serial dating, words of the week, and a Pot And Bars freestyle run that ends on a powerful note about grief and love.
If you’re into Charlotte, independent hip hop, music marketing, and unfiltered roundtable talk, hit play, subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave us a review with the funniest or realest takeaway you heard.

SPEAKER_01Yes, sir. Let's get it.
SPEAKER_14All right. We're gonna ask you who you are, where you from, and what the fuck you do?
SPEAKER_01First off. First off, I am Jay Breezy. One half of the Wicked Boys, aka Mr. Pop My Shit till they stop my shit. And I doubt that's gonna happen. You know what I'm saying? I'm straight out the city, straight out of Charlotte, North Carolina, motherfucking line. You know. And uh I am an uh I would like to say uh I think I'm a decent artist. You know, I think I'm a I think I'm a decent artist. No, no, stop, stop.
SPEAKER_14You cutting yourself short, brother. Stop. I already know your record already, okay? Stop. Stop, stop. Okay? I need you to retract that and say that again, sir.
SPEAKER_05There's no advisory, okay? Say it again, sir. Say it again, sir.
SPEAKER_01So pretty much they don't want no humble shit.
SPEAKER_14No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_01We don't do humble shit.
SPEAKER_14We never do humble on this show. Never.
SPEAKER_01Well my slogan is I don't just rap, I do this shit. You know what I'm saying? That's what I'm talking about. And that right there say enough.
SPEAKER_14That gives the explosions. That gives the explosions, man. So being for Charlotte, 704, man. Tell us, like, for the people that I've been here for 10 years. How long have you been here, Jazz? How long you been here? Seven short months. Seven short months, that's how long you've been here. Eight months. How long you been here? Seven months. You fresh out here. Seven fresh. But I'm fresh back. Seven years, right? No, seven months. Seven months. Yeah, she came back seven months. You fresh too. Your entire life. So most of my life.
SPEAKER_01Most of my life. Most of my life. A lot of people don't know. Like, if you haven't known me since like elementary school, then you wouldn't know that. I was originally born in New York, New Jersey.
SPEAKER_10Oh, shit. Okay. You were up north. You know.
SPEAKER_01You know, I was sticking with you. I was originally born in Neuk, New Jersey.
SPEAKER_14Okay.
SPEAKER_01I've been here in the city since first, second grade. So.
SPEAKER_14Well, yeah, you vested.
SPEAKER_01This is where I'm from, you know what I'm saying? Like, this way, this is where I'm from.
The Heart And Roots Of Charlotte
SPEAKER_14So being that you've been here from first to second grade, like, like, I don't think I've really asked this question. Like, just tell us, like, Charlotte. Like, what is the roots of Charlotte? Where's the heart of Charlotte? Where's the soul of Charlotte come from? Like, let me know that. For people that want to come out here, for me, that's been out here for 10 years. I don't even know what the post is.
SPEAKER_01I think a lot of people would say that. A lot of people will say the whole city is really the heart of Charlotte. You know what I'm saying? Because for real, for real, you can't really just call one side of the city the heart of Charlotte because every side of the city is known for so much shit. You know what I'm saying? So you really can't just pinpoint it to one side of the city or where the heart of the city is at. You know what I'm saying? Me, I'm from North Charlotte, but I be on Battysford. And you feel me? You feel me?
SPEAKER_05I went over to Betty's Ford not too long ago and I was riding, riding. Ended up on a low side street, about to roll up trap house, right to the left. Three niggas fine as hell standing outside. Okay. I was like, yeah, I know where the hood at, okay. But I had to get up out of there.
SPEAKER_14I heard Betty's Ford is wrong.
SPEAKER_05I didn't scared of the hood. That's where we are. I never scared of the hood, but I don't know the hood here.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, as a matter of fact, that's where I did uh my Thanksgiving feed the homeless drive at. I did it right there, right there in the heart uh of the Ford. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03It was cool. There was sad music, they had a whole bunch of pause, menopause. Tacos, it was catered, it was very nice.
SPEAKER_05That's what sucked. I love that one. Tacos. We love tacos. We love tacos.
SPEAKER_01It was a bunch of food out there. Yes. Like I said, it was it was like a few days before the Thanksgiving. So we had a lot of food out there.
SPEAKER_14It was a great turnout. Yeah, what food do you have? Yeah, turkeys?
SPEAKER_01We had it, we had everything. We had turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, macaroni, yams, you know what I'm saying? All the classic. Everybody was invited.
SPEAKER_02We wasn't invited.
SPEAKER_01Everybody was invited. It was, yeah, yeah. It was for the community, I think.
SPEAKER_05By the way, I say the homeless driver right there. That was at Thanksgiving. Around Thanksgiving.
SPEAKER_01It was around Thanksgiving, like a few days before Thanksgiving.
SPEAKER_12All bad, bro.
SPEAKER_01It's all good, man. It's all good. Trust me, more coming. More coming.
SPEAKER_05I'm waiting. So I seen you pick the pen up at 15 and started writing. So what made you wanted to pick up the pen and decide you wanted to wrap at 15?
SPEAKER_01Honestly, and I've said this before. My partner is my nigga name is Rojack, for y'all who don't know. Whoever who knows Ro Jack, he he a he a vet here in the city or whatnot. That's been my childhood, friends since like elementary school. You know, I know Bruss started rapping around like eighth, maybe ninth grade. I ain't start rapping until like around 10th grade, maybe. Like ninth going in in the 10th. And he used to be one of them dudes, you know. Remember back in high school, everybody circled around a trash can, beating on and rapping and whatnot. You know what I'm saying? He was one of them niggas. So I went home and wrote a rap one night. And I came back to school the next day and I spit it for him. And he liked it. And I've been rapping ever since. Yes. Show down memory lane. Yeah, my partner, my partner is definitely a big reason of why he started. Rojak. Rojak. Straight out of the shot.
SPEAKER_14North Charlotte. Like what's North Charlotte? Because I'm be getting, okay, East Charlotte, but you got album.
SPEAKER_10It's like North Lake.
SPEAKER_01Listen, you never come out of here.
SPEAKER_05I ain't from there. I ain't from there. I don't want to tell you. I don't want to tell you what I thought North Charlotte was.
SPEAKER_01North Charlotte. North Charlotte. North Charlotte is Parkwood, Siegel Avenue, Allen Street, Parsons Street, 17th, 18th, Union, Lola, Umstead, Kenneth, 20th. You know what I'm saying? That's North Charlotte. Belmont. That's that's North Charlotte.
SPEAKER_14So what's what's South Charlotte?
SPEAKER_01So what's your North Charlotte?
SPEAKER_05South Charlotte. It was Concord. No, I thought it was two. I thought it was two.
SPEAKER_01Nah, see, that's North Charlotte. What I said, y'all just staying on the North Side. The North Side and North Charlotte is two different things.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_14So what okay, so that was you said what is your North Charlotte? Mallet Creek. That's north.
SPEAKER_05I'm in the mallet Creek area, and I thought that I was in North Charlotte, but Concord Mills Mall. Yeah, that's North Side.
SPEAKER_14So are you in North Charlotte? Because you in North Charlotte. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_05That's what I thought. But that's also going towards Concord.
SPEAKER_14So what is the worst part of Charlotte to be at? Like, what is the worst part of Charlotte to walk at night? Like if you're a walker and you decide to walk. Where is the place in Charlotte you shouldn't walk at night?
SPEAKER_01I ain't even gonna hold you. I ain't even gonna hold it. You better stay off the Ford. Betty's Ford. I keep hearing about the forward. You better stay off the Ford, man.
SPEAKER_14You can't walk on Betty's Ford at nighttime.
SPEAKER_05No, because I definitely, I told you I felt the vibe over there. I was like, this were the real niggas at over here.
SPEAKER_14From Betty's?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but it's different from my little small town and the real niggas. I knew them all my life. I don't know these niggas, but they it was some real niggas over there.
SPEAKER_14Betty's forward. Betty's Ford. You can't hang up.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, oh yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Especially right off that exit. Especially right off that exit.
SPEAKER_05So they be saying stay away from Sugar Creek area. Yeah, sugar creek.
SPEAKER_01Sugar Creek.
SPEAKER_05South Charlotte.
SPEAKER_01They starting to clean up Sugar Creek a little bit. It seemed like, you know what I'm saying? They started to clean up Sugar Creek too.
SPEAKER_05I don't know why I stopped over there. He was singing Michael Jackson. They said I'm still up at the gas station. I don't do it. You know what? I had to get lemonade for Destiny. No, that's not that's not important enough. I didn't realize where I was until I realized where I was.
SPEAKER_14I'm sorry, what's the conversation?
SPEAKER_05Being on Sugar Creek. Being on Sugar Creek.
SPEAKER_14Is that all the hookers be at? Yeah, yeah. Oh, okay. I keep hearing about Sugar Creek and the hookers.
SPEAKER_05Hey, yeah.
SPEAKER_14Yeah. Have a hooker be at. And somebody called me like, yo, nigga, I'm on Sugar Creek. I know what you're doing. I know what you're doing, nigga. Okay.
SPEAKER_01What stop?
SPEAKER_14So Jay Breezy, let me. Where did you get the name Jay Breezy from?
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna keep it all the way hot with you, bruh.
SPEAKER_14You gotta keep it high. It's no advisory. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01I ain't like I didn't earn that name or anything like that. I just wanted a name that sounded somewhat cool. Sounded somewhat decent.
SPEAKER_14So it has no correlations like your real name?
SPEAKER_01It has no correlations. Well, the Jay, the Jay does, you know what I'm saying? My real name is James. Okay. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, but other than that, that's all it was. It wasn't no deep thought into it, no deep background meaning, or none of that shit. I just wanted the name that sounded somewhat acceptable.
SPEAKER_14So how'd it come about? Like, when you sleep and woke up like breezy. Breezy.
SPEAKER_07Where did that shit come from, nigga?
SPEAKER_03Like, did you have names before Jay Breezy?
SPEAKER_14Yeah.
SPEAKER_01My very my very first stage name was a name that was given to me by my partner in Ryan, my boy Sincere. He named me Bling Bling Slim.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right.
SPEAKER_10Right. I'm happy. Bling bling slim.
SPEAKER_06Should have seen baby girl face. Because she was like, nigga, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_01What the fuck?
SPEAKER_10Bling bling slim. Bling bling slim. Bling bling slim. Shout out my dog, man. I'm dead. That's a white.
SPEAKER_14I'm glad you went with Jay Breezy.
SPEAKER_01I'm glad you went with Jay Big. Did not like that name. And he knew that shit, too. I did not like that shit. He tried to set you up.
SPEAKER_14What was his name again?
SPEAKER_01Oh no, I wasn't blinging. And that was back when we first started rapping. So that was little dusty childhood days. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_05You were inspired by like cash money, like the bling bling thing. He was like, okay, let's put this together. He tore on slim. We're going right off the bling bling. That was a separate.
SPEAKER_01That's been so long ago, I don't even remember. I just know that that's the name that that nigga gave me. Or at least was wanting to give me because he he knew I wasn't going for that shit. He knew I wasn't going for it.
SPEAKER_05You know what I want to hear? So not only do you be rapping, but you be saving people.
SPEAKER_03It was I want to hear the story. I mean, I heard the story, but I want them to hear it. A hero? Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_14But hold on. It's a different thing. Do we be singing or we be sanging?
SPEAKER_05No, he be saving people. Oh, saving. I thought you said singing. Saving two little girls the other night.
SPEAKER_14Oh shit. You be saving people.
SPEAKER_05Oh, hero. I do want to hear it. Oh, you a hero, nigga? I was very inspirational. It was very nice.
SPEAKER_14This nigga had to get his water for that one.
SPEAKER_05He's a hero.
SPEAKER_14I thought you said he was saving holes and shit.
SPEAKER_05Oh Lord. So you're not saving holes. But he's saved. Don't save the hoes. Oh, thank you. Yeah, tell it.
Saving Two Little Girls
SPEAKER_01I won't be able to do that. So interesting. A couple weeks ago, well, it's been probably probably about three weeks now. Um I was on my way home. And on my way home, I stopped at food line to get some uh food for dinner. My old lady told me to stop and grab some stuff for dinner or whatnot. So I'm coming out of the food line of a parking lot. And while I'm coming out of the parking lot, there's an apartment complex directly across the street. I see, I had been smoking too and took a few shots and shit. So I'm like, I know I'm not tripping because I see like two lights running towards the street. So as I'm turning out, I'm still got my eyes focused on these lights. Come to realize they're not lights. They're two kids. Oh each one of them has a light. Oh they're running towards the street.
SPEAKER_00Oh.
SPEAKER_01So it's some some type of some type of flashlight type shit. Not like the regular flashlight you would think, but it's some it was it was like box shape. You know what I'm saying? I maybe, I don't know. I ain't never seen it before. I just knew it was a light. It was two, it was two lights. It was two kids, it was two bed baby girls. They were four and two. Yeah. So when I realized it was two kids, I busted U-turn. Got out, I parked my car. As soon as I parked my car, the older one, like I said, I I initially thought they were three and one, but come to find out later they were four and two. So as I'm parking my car and I open my door to get out, the four-year-old dart across the street. Crazy. This and then this this is all like it's like nine o'clock, like nine and nine thirty at night. It's cold as hell outside, too. You know, so she dart across the street, so I'm trying to get her attention to come towards me. As I'm doing that, the younger one was still across the street, hadn't even crossed yet. So the little girl, the young one, she comes out, she starts to she starts to jot across the street. I tell you no lie. Every time I done told this story to people who done asked me, I tell you no lie. If that little girl would have taken maybe like two more steps, she would have been out of here. Because it was a car coming from the opposite direction. Car didn't slow down or stop or nothing. So that just I just thought the car they didn't see him.
SPEAKER_14Right.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying? And these kids didn't have on nothing. They only had on diapers. Two two little baby girls. All they had on was diapers. So the car go past, so I run and I scoop up the the younger one. A chick, she saw what was going on, so she pulled over behind my car and she got out, you know what I'm saying, to help out a little bit because she was confused just like I was. Like, where the hell do these little kids come from? So I done scooped both of the little girls up, but and I say this every time too because this ain't just talk down on it or nothing. Like I can smell those kids before I even pick them up. You know what I'm saying? I can like I I got kids, you know what I'm saying? I know what it's like to change that diapers and all that type of shit. I can tell them diapers hadn't been changed in hours.
SPEAKER_14Oh my god. Who the fuck is the parents?
SPEAKER_01All all all this time, no, nobody showing up. So me and the girl, we contemplating on what on what we should do. You know what I'm saying? I was a foster care child, you know what I'm saying? I done been in the foster care system, you know what I'm saying? So my first instinct is not to call the police because I know DSS gonna get involved. That's not my first instinct. Plus, I don't really I don't like the motherfuckers anyway. So me and her contemplating about a good 10-15 minutes on what to do, because it looked crazy. It wouldn't look crazy, especially nowadays, for a nigga at night to just stop his car in the middle of the street, snatch up two girls, put them in his car, exactly. That shit that shit would've look crazy. That shit would look crazy. And all I'm doing is helping, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_05Shouldn't look crazy butt, this day and age.
SPEAKER_01So we we finally come to the conclusion that we're gonna call the police. We're right in front of food line and we're right in front of uh a Zaxby's, but we're out on the street. So I tell her we're gonna we can put the girls in in my car and we'll just pull over right here in the Zaxby's parking lot. We did that. Called the police. They let them know, they let us know somebody was coming. I told her though. I was like, I can't leave these little girls in my car smelling like that. I can't I just can't leave them with them diapers on like that. So I was like, I'm gonna walk over into the food line. She told me, don't forget the wipes. I'm like, bet. I said, but real shit, I don't feel comfortable changing these little girls. I don't. She was like, don't worry about it. I'll do it. Say no more. So I go get the I go get the uh diapers, go get the wipes, come back out. By the time I come back out, the officer done already pulled up. So I gave the girl the diapers and the wipes, cop asking me what's going on. I done told him, you know what I'm saying, pretty much what I done told y'all. Um he commended me, thanking me, all that, you know what I'm saying? He even asked me a few times if I wanted to get the girls out of my car to put them in the back of his car. And I was like, nah, man, we ain't even gotta do all that. Like, like, like, nah, yeah, nah. The little girls, I I can't even tell you that they was traumatized because they were so young and innocent, they was oblivious to how serious the situation was. Like they had no clue what was going on. They was in my backseat there jumping around playing. You know what I'm saying? Like they had no all all this time. Still nobody came to claim these kids.
SPEAKER_14So nobody, so until today, today nobody claimed these kids?
SPEAKER_01Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Somebody came that that night. Oh I was with them little girls. I stayed with I stayed with them little girls from the time when I saw them. I want to say for probably about an hour.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Probably about 40 about 45 minutes to an hour.
SPEAKER_14This is just before somebody came.
SPEAKER_01Before the officer let me know that they had located a family member. It was about 45 minutes to an hour, damn.
SPEAKER_14Okay, so when you uh found these these two young girls, where where were they at? Where was this?
SPEAKER_01I don't know how familiar y'all y'all are with Charlotte.
SPEAKER_14Somewhat.
SPEAKER_01Davis Lake area. You know, you know with the food line and the and food line and the Zach Spees. It's like right there near the corner, near the intersection of Sugar Creek and WT Harris.
SPEAKER_14Clock it.
SPEAKER_01Right there with the McDonald's and the gas station, every shit. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_14Uh-huh. That's very unfortunate. What clock it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that cause no sir.
SPEAKER_14But that's amazing, man. Cause let me just get around applause for that. Oh, yeah, there's a mouth, there's not a lot of disimerance out that I would be then. I mean, I'm lying. If if I saw a kid and pamper, anybody would get the fuck out with a kid and a pamper. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01But I would hope. You know what I'm saying? I definitely would hope.
SPEAKER_05I knew what he was doing, facing you there, and then also placing the female there too to make sure that their you know immediate hygiene needs were met. Like, that's very unfortunate. Some scumbag ass parents out there, man. How would you not realize your one your two year old and your four year old were missing for it came eventually dirty diapers, though?
SPEAKER_14Eventually.
SPEAKER_01It's crazy. That's They came they came eventually.
SPEAKER_05And you got to see them and eyes on the parents too?
SPEAKER_01I wasn't sure who the parents were. I just saw the group of people out there. You know, and um That's very unfair.
SPEAKER_05I would have cursed on parents out there.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_01Nah, you know, like they ain't say shit to me. You know, them people they ain't they ain't say shit. They ain't say nothing to me.
SPEAKER_05What's up, nice? You girl.
SPEAKER_14Now I want to check in. She in Florida somewhere. What's she at?
SPEAKER_05She's in Charleston. In Charleston.
SPEAKER_14I thought she was in Africa somewhere. She's somewhere every fucking day.
SPEAKER_05I swear.
SPEAKER_14She's in a new fucking country every day. Yes.
The Parking Violation Marketing Play
SPEAKER_05Love our girl. SD Westy. Okay, back to the musica. Yes. Okay, let's talk about this because you know, I just got listen, I just got two book. I got PTSD on the trigger. Now she got PTSD. Yeah, look at this shit. She got PTSD. You got that camera.
SPEAKER_14Park in violation. Like, I remember when I saw this shit.
SPEAKER_05I kind of want to put one out.
SPEAKER_14And uh it went, like, are you familiar with training day CLT? Yes. Okay, good. So somebody sent this to me from on Training Day CLT, and it was like, yo, this nigga, it was going crazy. We send it on to the page. I'm like, who the fuck is this nigga with this shit? It's like, yo, parking village. I was like, yo, that is fucking fly. Like, I know Chuck T designed this, right? Did he? No. No. So, okay, so where how did where this come about? Because I saw somebody else trying to duplicate this, but I know you are the originator of this, right?
SPEAKER_01I would say I'm the originator in probably the Carolinas.
SPEAKER_14Okay.
SPEAKER_01Um, I got the idea, actually. My partner has sent me, I think it was an Instagram post. He sent me an Instagram post of another artist doing it. I think the artist might have been from somewhere like Texas or something.
SPEAKER_14I mean a couple of these, you know what I'm saying? Lord. So remove that shit. How can he do that?
SPEAKER_01So when when I saw it, put that up there. That's ghetto intervention right there. Yeah, yeah. Nah, like I said, my partner has it. My partner has sent me the post of somebody else, I think from Texas, who did it. But his looked completely different, but it was a parking ticket. So I was like, bruh, shit, I'm about to be the first nigga to do this shit in the city, bruh. I'm about to be the first one to do it.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, this shit went to the city.
SPEAKER_01Sent it over with Dad. That was it right there.
SPEAKER_14Like, just imagine you coming outside, right? And you go to your fucking car and you got a parking violation. Look at this nigga. Look at this nigga swish. Shout out to Swish in the cooling.
SPEAKER_01I done got plenty motherfuckers with that shit.
SPEAKER_14Like, I mean, you look at it, it looks so fucking authentic.
SPEAKER_01I done got I done got plenty motherfuckers with that shit.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, you like, like, like, like, who, like, what make you laugh? Nigga, if I'm coming outside and I go to my car and I see this shit on my motherfucking window. Exactly. I'm like, you niggas nobody that was like mad at you for this shit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I done had people hit me in my DM and shit, you know what I'm saying? Ultimately, they end up laughing about it, you know what I'm saying? Cause it ain't doing you no harm. You ain't paying shit. All you're doing is paying some attention. That's about it.
SPEAKER_14But that is genius. That's yes. I was about to say that's genius marketing.
SPEAKER_05It looks exactly like this in North Carolina. That's the other one on the car.
SPEAKER_01Well, no, no, I don't know. I don't know what the actual parking tickets in North Carolina look like. That's just some shit that came up.
SPEAKER_05And then people would be really opposed to be like, oh shit, I got a ticket. Because have you ever seen sorry, have you ever seen people with the dollar bills or$100 and it's on the floor, fold it up, and you go grab it and it's there? Whatever. That's fire, too.
SPEAKER_15You should you should do some content to where you at you like dress up and actually have be waiting on people outside with the ticket on their car that that'd get a reaction.
SPEAKER_01Yo, that's an ideal.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, like you an actual fucking parking cop or some shit.
SPEAKER_03That'd be mad funny. See, that's how niggas get a touch.
SPEAKER_14Where nigga gonna get a touch of much?
SPEAKER_15No, where they gonna get touching.
SPEAKER_14You don't get a fucking toe truck? No, no, right. That's too much. Like niggas go get a mixture. We do know somebody with a toe truck now. You know what I mean? With a badge and be like, yo, give me one. I'm about to slide. Citation, bitch. Ha. There you go. Good money.
SPEAKER_05Stream my shit right now.
SPEAKER_14Stream my shit right now.
Solo Moves And Group Dynamics
SPEAKER_05That's funny. So do you enjoy working solo or better with a group? Because I know you said you was part of a group.
SPEAKER_01I think now. Like I've always been used to working in a group, especially when it came to me and me and my partner. But um I think we've always done solo shit too, but I think I like doing the solo thing. You know what I'm saying? Because I I move when I want to move. I do what I want to do. I do it how I want to do it, when I want to do it, you know what I'm saying? So I think I like the solo aspect of a movie. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, because you see what happened with Destiny Challenge.
SPEAKER_01But I don't think that's a that's a surprise to anybody that knows me, though. You know what I'm saying? Anybody that knows me, I don't that that's not a surprise.
SPEAKER_14Yontae dipped on them bitches. She said bye. She left them. She went solo, nigga. What do you mean? They're cool though. Huh? They still cool. They cool, but yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying? Like, like my my people. Oh DM FOL type thing. Damn right. Show that. Damn right.
SPEAKER_14That's like uh what's that group with a Marion? What's the name of that group? BTK. BTK. Marion said, you know what, nigga? I'm out. We'll do my solo thing, but we still cool. You know what I'm saying? Shit like that.
SPEAKER_01Oh nah, Marion don't fuck with them niggas.
SPEAKER_15Marion don't fuck the niggas.
SPEAKER_01Hold on, fuck with them niggas, man.
SPEAKER_05Did you see Lil Fizz at that tour? Is Little Fizz there? Right there, right there. Oh man. Yeah, they all didn't. I saw mad pictures and the videos of D D Fizz at the top. I was like, okay, I seen the inner.
SPEAKER_15I seen the interview. I seen the interview. He was like, he he he definitely feels some type of way, but he knows how to suppress his feelings to make money. He's that it's a time and place of everything. So exactly. Yeah. He said, don't think I ain't killed a motherfucker in my head ten times. Uh-huh. But I know how to put that shit away for the money.
Does Charlotte Have A Sound
SPEAKER_14For the money shit. You know what I want to know? I always ask artists that's um like kind of like homebred, like you from Charlotte. Uh we got the baby out here that represents Charlotte per se, but I heard he's not actually from Charlotte, he's from a different county.
SPEAKER_05But he's not from Charlotte.
SPEAKER_14That's neither here nor there, huh?
SPEAKER_05I didn't know he was not from Charlotte.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, he's not from Charlotte, Charlotte, but he reps Charlotte. Uh so what is like, huh? No, he's not. He's like what he was saying is, but he was born in 1606. No, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_01Hey, I'm gonna speak on it as soon as as soon as he finished.
SPEAKER_14I saw, like, I I'll be reading the comment. They he says he repped Charlotte, but he wasn't actually bred in Charlotte. He just actually, you know, maybe he's from Salisbury, and then he comes in Charlotte, like, hey, I rep Charlotte, but he goes back to Salisbury some shit. Okay.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no. So what was the question?
SPEAKER_14Huh?
SPEAKER_01So what was the question?
SPEAKER_14Charlotte's sound. Because some people say that baby is not Charlotte's sound.
SPEAKER_01We don't have a sound.
SPEAKER_14I don't think they have a sound. Everybody say that. That's that's crazy. Everybody say that.
SPEAKER_01Everybody telling you that? And it's not even just everybody. If everybody from the city is telling you that, so is that a good or bad thing?
SPEAKER_05Um what about me?
SPEAKER_01That I'm really not sure. You know what I'm saying? Um I think I think the artists that's that's coming out of the city, the ones that's really doing their thing, is doing their thing. You know what I'm saying? But as far as just like a one collective sound of where you can be like, oh yeah, but that's a Charlotte nigga. Yeah, nah, we won't won't got that. We ain't never had that though. No, no, I ain't never had that. We ain't never had that.
SPEAKER_14Pete Pablo from Charlotte.
unknownI could tell you.
SPEAKER_01And Pete Pablo here from Charlotte.
SPEAKER_14Damn. See? See? He's not Pete Pablo not from Charlotte. Man, RP Dunk Cartel. See, he's not from Charlotte. Duncan's from Charlotte. Like, is Freddie Pete? Is he from Charlotte? Yeah. He's from Charlotte.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Frank from the city. For real. And I'm I'm gonna keep it all the way band with you. Like I said, we don't have a Charlotte sound. But when I listen to Frank, I hear Charlotte.
SPEAKER_14Charlotte. Okay.
SPEAKER_01When I especially especially especially the streets of Charlotte. Right. When I hear Frank, I hear Charlotte.
SPEAKER_14100% P. 100%.
SPEAKER_01100%.
SPEAKER_14Because I mean that's the thing, right? Because if you go to uh different states like New York, LA, Chicago, even, like they have a distinct sound. Like, you know, that nigga's from New York, that nigga from Chicago, that nigga's from LA. But like I that's why I ask like, is it a good or bad thing? Because if you hear an artist, you'd be like, where this nigga from? And you're like, I represent Charlotte. Oh, okay. They got another nigga, I represent Charlotte, whole different sound. So it's like, yo, what is the sound? So I guess it's like a good or bad thing.
SPEAKER_01I guess I guess it ain't a good idea. I guess you could look at it from either one of these two ways. It could be a good thing because it could be a good thing because people will just recognize you from that city. But it can also be a bad thing because people recognize you from that city and be like, nah, that city they don't really produce good artists like that. You know what I'm saying? As like people here, people in the city don't don't none of us sound alike.
SPEAKER_15No, facts. You know what I'm saying? It's like everybody sounds none of us sound alike. It's like a lot of people sound like other people from different states, and then you got people who sound like they self. Now that's true.
SPEAKER_01Do got some motherfuckers here that sound like other folk.
SPEAKER_15Yeah, from every state in the world.
SPEAKER_01Nobody in Charlotte sounds like everybody in Charlotte.
SPEAKER_15Yeah, there's no one sound. It's no one sound because but but it is people that sound like other people from other states, and it's people who sound like themselves, but it's not one sound that everybody gravitate towards that was originated from here.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_15Correct.
Influences And Finding His Voice
SPEAKER_05It could be due towards um, you know, influences and stuff like who they actually listen to or whatever outside of music. So who are some of the people that you listen to and who are you influenced by when it comes to music and beats and stuff too? Because I know that plays a huge part in music.
SPEAKER_01Yep, beats definitely play a huge part. And if I ain't feeling the beat, I really can't even rock with it too. You know, but um, I ain't gonna stun. I still listen to niggas that I grew up on. Like I don't really like an I don't really like a lot of this new music. This shit's some bullshit for real. It is. My favorite, my top three favorite art. I give you my top four. My top four favorite artists of all time. No particular order, but Eminem. Okay, Pac. Tip. Okay, DMX.
SPEAKER_14Okay, okay, Uncle D. I like Big E.
SPEAKER_01My favorite four of all time. You said why I like Pac. Pac was that nigga, man.
SPEAKER_03He a Biggie fan.
SPEAKER_14I'm saying I like Biggie too. Me being a Biggie fan got nothing to do with me and my disdain for Tupac. So what is it?
SPEAKER_01I think I think I think the biggest difference, I think the biggest difference people noticed between Biggie and Pac was Biggie rapped.
SPEAKER_14Pac a rapped too. Pac you fell. Yeah, Pac is an uneposition.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying? Biggie rap, Pac you fell.
SPEAKER_03I can hear DMX and your music because I was literally just listening to one of your singles, and you started off with Pinch, and I was like, but I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_05It gave me that. It gave me that row developed too much.
SPEAKER_01I don't even I don't even like to use that bitch word a lot either, man. Nah. I love it. I don't. I ain't that kind of niggas, man. For real, for real. Now don't give me stint. Don't don't don't get me wrong. It's it's warranted in certain situations, but I'm just not a nigga that just bitch this and bitch that.
SPEAKER_15Bitch this, bitch, that, but acting like a bitch.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna keep it real. If you buck up at me, that's lines for it. Bitch. That's reasons for it. Dead ass. Because you should already know you you you can't fuck with me. So you shouldn't even you shouldn't even be be ready to cross that line like that, knowing that you can't fuck with me. Regardless of how much you may feel that you can. You can't fuck with me. So just calm it down. Well, they gotta take it all the way up there, you know what I'm saying? Well, they gotta take it all the way there.
SPEAKER_14So what's Jay Breezy's sound then? What is your sound?
SPEAKER_01I don't think I have a sound. To keep it real. Um I'm I'm just that diverse and versatile with it though. You know what I'm saying? I think I think when when the people that know me, when they hear my voice, like they know what my voice, but damn, but like you never know how I'ma come on a track. You never know how I'ma come. I could come this way on one track, and then you may think I'm gonna come that way on the next one, and it's completely different.
SPEAKER_05Do you feel like you're different from other Charlotte artists?
SPEAKER_01Different as far as what?
SPEAKER_05As of like your your style, as in like rap and rapping.
SPEAKER_01For the most part, yeah. Cause like I said, none of us sound the same. None of us sound the same. So for the for the most part, I think I definitely sound sound different.
“Get It Get It” And Craft
SPEAKER_05So if you have one song that you could you would want to go viral right now, like a club banger, something for the ladies to shake their tail feather to, what would be the title of that song and when can we find it? Because I'm gonna listen to it on the way home.
SPEAKER_04Hey, yo.
SPEAKER_01The song I got out right now that I've been pushing is called Get It Get It.
SPEAKER_09Get it, get it. We listen to that.
SPEAKER_01That's that shit right there. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_09She's getting it right now.
SPEAKER_01Honestly, my mindset when I was writing that song was something completely different. I was uh I was really just trying to switch up the style, you know what I'm saying? Swag on the track a little differently. But when I got finished writing what I was writing, I ain't really like it. So I just scrapped it and I just that's be get it, get it came out of nowhere. I just I wrote something completely different. Completely different.
SPEAKER_15You ever be like hesitant about that? Like when you like, because I know it took you a little second to write whatever you had first, you gotta be like, damn, do I really want to stall the way over? Do I really want to get rid of this shit? You ever be like that?
SPEAKER_01It be like that, but I'd be more so worried about the finished product. You know what I'm saying? A lot of niggas just be putting, just be, they they just get high set whatever the fuck they feel like. For real, man. They just be getting on the mic and saying anything, and nah, I I actually care about the quality of my craft, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_14Are you are you a punching rapper? I'm gonna say rapper, MC, or are you let me get my shit together and knock the whole song out and see?
SPEAKER_01Nah, I'm not, I'm not a uh a punching artist. Now don't get me wrong. Don't get me wrong. I've done it, I've done it a few times when I've collabed with uh uh a few other people or whatnot. And uh, but me personally, I I prefer to have my shit already ready. That's what I'm saying. So I can get because it's it like you can have fun with it, but at the end of the day, it's still about business, though. You know what I'm saying? So I'd be ready to get in the studio to handle my business so I can get the hell up out of there.
SPEAKER_14Who for you, other than you, who are your top three Charlotte artists out here that you will want to work with?
SPEAKER_01Can we switch up the question? Let's just let's just say let's just say the top, let's just say the top three that I think is doing their thing like that. Cause I'm I'm I'm gonna keep it real. I am I'm not really I don't really be caring to collab and this ain't no disrespect to nobody. You know what I'm saying? I say this in the most humble way. I don't really be giving a fuck to collab with a lot of people like that. You know what I'm saying? I really don't. I really I really don't. It's cool. Don't get me wrong, it's cool. I've definitely reached out to folk, whether I got an answer back or not. Right. You know, but I just don't, I don't, I don't be pressed.
SPEAKER_14You reached out to that you ain't gonna answer back.
SPEAKER_05He's trying to get the juice.
SPEAKER_01Good question.
SPEAKER_14This is not who maybe you should have done that research.
SPEAKER_01Who have I reached out to? It's been so long, too, man. Cause like I said, I don't I don't be I don't be pressed the door, you know what I'm saying? I don't it's been so long, man. I don't even fucking remember. Liza you're giving these motherfuckers safe answers right now.
SPEAKER_06Who's your safe answer, man?
SPEAKER_01But I will say though, I will say all right. So top three artists that re I'll rephrase the question to what's that you said that you were what I say I said this somewhere else too. Right now, I'm thinking I think Frank is definitely goddamn he yeah out here right now. You know what I'm saying? For real. Yep. Frank Shade.
SPEAKER_14Shadezy.
SPEAKER_01Hell yeah, Shadiz. Oh, whoa. Shadeezy. I can whip the yams up three ways, baby. I can cook the yams up three ways, baby. I can whip the yams up. Come on, man. That's a Charlotte classic right there, man. Y'all don't know Shadiz.
SPEAKER_15About this. No Shadizi. I can't speak. Y'all know Shadezy.
SPEAKER_06Come on, man. They used to call my boy the Carolina Jeezy. Y'all don't know about Shadizy.
SPEAKER_14If we got Carolina with Shadizy, I don't know. I don't know. What's happening? I mean, I don't mean not probably button.
SPEAKER_01Because it definitely don't, because just because you don't know him, it definitely don't mean he's not one of the top and he ain't doing his thing. You know what I'm saying? So definitely. Third one, I give it to a female.
SPEAKER_05Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I give it to a female.
SPEAKER_05I feel like I know what it is. Tim, why y'all say oh like that?
SPEAKER_01Big Tootie doing her thing right now.
SPEAKER_05Oh, shout out to Tootie, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Big Tootie, she she she popping her motherfucking shit right now.
SPEAKER_14Let me tell you about Tootie. Big Tootie. Tootie, she came through the training day circuit, and I was gonna through training day, I was gonna put together a mixtape. Like Unsigned Queens. I'm mad that shit never came to fruition. But we was all in here, we was all in here, it was all over there. I remember it was all over there, we was talking. I was like, yo, Tootie. I was like, yo, you got it, bro. Like, if you hone in, because her voice, she just, it was just something about her aura and her voice, and I I'm like, yo, you got it.
SPEAKER_01She got the energy. She got that energy. She definitely got the energy. She definitely got that energy.
SPEAKER_14So run, let me go. I'm mad I do the unsigned Queen's tape shit.
SPEAKER_05All right, so what's next for you?
SPEAKER_01As far as what? Okay. Okay. Yeah, yeah. Actually, actually, I do got a I do got a project um I'm about to drop. I I don't have an official date for it yet, but um I do got a project I'm about to drop. In between that, I will be dropping, you know what I'm saying, different little songs, different visuals to it or whatnot. So that's that's that that's pretty much it. I'm just making new, making new content, making new art, making new music, getting ready to drop it, give it to the people. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_14Yes, that's what I'm telling you.
SPEAKER_05Oh, he taped it. Oh, he taped it. No, because I was gonna talk about it. I was in the shit.
SPEAKER_14That's why you asked me for the time. It's fucking shit. So yeah, tell right quick. Tell us about Blank Out. We don't know about that.
SPEAKER_01Blank Out, that's a uh that's an album, but I think I dropped that back in 2023.
SPEAKER_142023.

SPEAKER_14Shit. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Hey, look, as long as I got the promo, people gotta get it.

SPEAKER_14Gotta get it.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, I dropped that back in 20 to 23. Um, really wasn't no thought into it. Just go on a motherfucking, just go on a track, blanking out. Every track. Every track we blanking. Every track we blanking.
SPEAKER_05Crash out with that.
DJs Who Really Support Locals
SPEAKER_14I got one final question. I think this is a key question. Because a lot of artists that came through this platform, and I don't think we really hone in on this question. How do you feel about the DJs out here and pushing the local independent artists out here? And who is that one DJ that you feel like hones in on independent artists the most?
SPEAKER_01DJ be easy. That's a great question. When it comes to the first part of the question, um how do I feel about the DJs? Um I don't really. You know what I'm saying? And that ain't a bad thing. You know what I'm saying? That ain't that ain't that ain't a bad thing. You know what I'm saying? I got I got DJs that I actually do rock with, you know, but as far as like as a whole, you know, I I don't feel about it like that. You know what I'm saying? Um I always I always gotta give shouts out to DJ Prince I.
SPEAKER_14Oh, Prince I, yeah. Party Punishers. Yeah. OG OG in the game.
SPEAKER_01He was he was one of the first DJs to really like start playing my shit. You know what I'm saying? And get my shit known around, you know what I'm saying? Shout out to Prince I. Yeah, shout out to um shout out to Print Prince Eye. I got a relationship with Prince Eye. Shout out to uh DJ Trap. I fuck with Trap. Yep, shout out to DJ Trap Trap. That's my dog. No, right? Yeah, Trap. Um shout out to uh CP, the people's champ. You know what I'm saying? I fuck with bruh. I don't know how to um easy. DJ B Easy. Yeah, yeah. We've we've uh we've Communicated and done business. I don't think I've met him in person though. You know what I'm saying? But we've definitely been communicated and did business. But um I really ultimately too gotta give a shout out to DJ Chuck T, man. Like DJ Chuck T, that's the big homie right there. That's the big homie. That's cool. That's the big homie right there. That's the big homie right there. And he ain't selfish with the he ain't selfish with the goddamn game that he be trying to give. He ain't selfish. If if he sees some type of potential in you, and he sees that you got the grind for it, you know what I'm saying? He'll try to do what he can to put you in certain situations, give you certain opportunities, man. So big shout out to people, Chuck C. Big shout out to Chuck C.

SPEAKER_05Any more of that stuff, you guys? I don't need no more.
SPEAKER_14I don't need my stuff. Okay.
SPEAKER_05You don't. What's the stuff? I was thinking the same thing.
SPEAKER_14I was like, It was the stuff that she had in the cup. She said she got no more.
SPEAKER_05Stop touching.

SPEAKER_10Presentable.
SPEAKER_05Okay. I'm dead.
SPEAKER_10Not presentable. You're the only one that looks presentable over here.
SPEAKER_05The whole suit. He won't tell niggas why he got this suit on. No, right. Why you got that suit on?
SPEAKER_15So for uh the vibe tonight was Kaye West at the uh BT Hip Hop Ward cipher. You ever see the good music cipher? I just need them glasses, but I ain't had the time to grab the glasses. But that's my vibe tonight. Wild afterwards. Tight shit. Alright, tight shit.
SPEAKER_05Wild. Okay, so we are not doing birthdays anymore. What?
SPEAKER_14Fuck them birthdays, nigga. Fuck them birthdays.
Keeping Business Professional With Attraction
SPEAKER_05Damn. Happy birthday to whoever birthday it is today. But we're not doing birthdays. It's a birthday every day. Whoever your birthday is to happy birthday, motherfuckers. We are going to start off with hot takes of the week.
SPEAKER_14Hot takes of the week.
SPEAKER_05So I just want to make a statement for the men. For the men. I love y'all dearly. I love you guys. I really do. I really do. I do though. I do though. Okay. But when it comes to wanting to do business with women, some of y'all, not all, some of y'all want, some of y'all men have to do better and learn to keep it professional. Because that is how y'all lose good business with women.
SPEAKER_15They ain't talking about us, K. They ain't talking about us. They definitely ain't talking about us.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, y'all do good. Y'all do good.
SPEAKER_14But you know, these niggas be having it the hardest in terms of trying to keep it professional, especially if you're doing like the door shoots. Like that shit is hard. They naked and shit. You gotta sit there and be like, click.
SPEAKER_05I mean, if they not a baddie or you're not attracted to them, then you probably won't. You just be like, yeah, I gotta edit this hoe. I mean, everybody ain't bad though, right? K? Like, you ain't just always getting the baddies when you do the shit.
SPEAKER_14Cause you gotta look at their face when you edit this shit. Trying to be none of that.
SPEAKER_15Imperfectionist. Females is the best at editing. Nobody's catching up.
SPEAKER_14But more so than none, it you know, it don't be it don't be the niggas all the time. A lot of the time it'd be the woman that don't be trying to keep a professionalist.
SPEAKER_05No, all the time. No, all the time. Because y'all being like lawsuits out of the foul. You can be talking really professional, and they be like, so, you know, what you doing later, you know. I like I like how you're looking at video and your story, like calling after business hours. Yeah, like what you doing that for? What are you doing that for?
SPEAKER_14But why are you that's why you get emails out? Why are you giving out your phone numbers?
SPEAKER_05I give out my fucking email. I'm gonna give out my Instagram fast. I don't give out my number, but I give out my Instagram. Because if you have your number.
SPEAKER_14You got a mic for the audience? Yeah, give them an email. What the fuck are you giving me your phone number for?
SPEAKER_05Niggas don't be checking email. Who knows? I checked my email. I shouldn't check my emails off. But I have a business line. I have a business line.
SPEAKER_03It came with it, it was a deal.
SPEAKER_14But that's how you keep it strictly business from professional. You'd be like, yo, this is my email. If a nigga like my email address, email me, boo, boo, boo. So a nigga know, oh okay, cool. But if you're like, yo, yeah, call me. Oh, here's my number. A nigga like that. Most of the time you say that. So let's let's not say it's just the niggas.
SPEAKER_05But you say the woman can don't keep a professional, but most of the time. Sometimes they don't. It's the man that comes first.
SPEAKER_14Now, majority of the time it's the man, yes. And then that's when the female starting getting away from the money. Wait a minute.
SPEAKER_03Your phone number is on your resume. I'll be quick to freaking check somebody.
SPEAKER_14I don't put my Google voice number.
SPEAKER_05So when you have a resume for jobs, it's show it's a Google number, not your personal number.
SPEAKER_14Google voice number. That could that can go to my real number if you check it. It goes the same way. That's smart. That's smart, right? That's smart. Why would I do that? It's me.
SPEAKER_05I got a text now number. Does that count? Oh my god, remember text now. I still got now ho. Hey yo.
SPEAKER_14Well, yeah, people act like is not both ways, but I but I get it. Some niggas are not unprofessional. Yeah. That is true.
Lotto Rumors And Rollout Culture
SPEAKER_05Alright, real quick. Quiet down, quite down, quiet on the time. Alright, real quick. I have seen that Lotto is stirring up something, and she made a post that's gonna be, you know, posted at midnight. I think it and the video is basically her walking to a little baby cheetah and feeding in, you know, in a bottle saying she didn't go missing. She had to give us time to miss her. Home to the studio, studio back home. And then she said, listening to every beat and feeling every kick. I think she's pregnant. What y'all think? What y'all think? What y'all think? It's not AI no more. It's not a new album, and everybody's gonna be uproar because of the AI thing that she just did. So one of the singles is gonna be that video that we ain't get to see yet with her pregnant belly. But I think she's really pregnant. Yeah. No, it was AI, AI, prosthetic belly, whatever it was, is gonna tie into the album. I do not think that girl is pregnant. It's not the good time for her to get pregnant right now. She's smarter than everybody. It's not the good time for anybody to get pregnant. She's everybody got pregnant.
SPEAKER_15Drop some music. I'm not trying to do these Cardi B rollouts, Lotto. Well, you can rap. Just rap, nigga. You ain't gotta do this Cardi B. She can rap. She makes good songs. You don't gotta do a rollout. You fire. You don't gotta do the rollout.
unknownLike, come on.
SPEAKER_05She wants people to speculate.
SPEAKER_15You got 21 Savage walking up against the wall and shit. Like, drop some music.
SPEAKER_14I mean, that's genius level marketing, though. I love it. I love the marketing for that.
SPEAKER_15Why is hip hop turning into this though? Why do you have to how much one of the better?
SPEAKER_14I mean, that's part of a rollout, though. It's a rollout. Just started being like a big thing. But you see Kanye's rollout? He got the drones and shit all over the place. That is fucking genius. Spelling bully.
SPEAKER_15He's been on his been on some goaded rollout shit.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna say this. People getting their rollout ideas from Summer. Summer is the rollout rollout goddess, okay? She was the first person to really start pulling up. She would have like a big ass. It was somewhere people start trying to break in or whatever, but she'll pull up mad places. This is like right after COVID.
SPEAKER_15Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_05And um, she does a lot of just different things or whatever.
SPEAKER_15But anyway, um I'm I'm gonna let you go there. This is I just feel like the rollout is becoming more important than the music. But the rollout is the case. People are paying more attention to the rollout and not giving a fuck about the album when it dropped. Oh, you remember when she did that? That's a problem. They don't give a fuck about the music. That's only, that's only if the music. Especially if they ain't got no single. If they ain't got no single, nobody listened to the album. He said that's how they got no single, nobody listened to the album. What do you mean?
unknownThey paying attention more to his rollout.
SPEAKER_15When they coming to the city, signing albums more than they did to the album. I listen to every day.
SPEAKER_05So I can't speak for everybody.
SPEAKER_14Not from what I saw, people's like.
SPEAKER_15The new album.
SPEAKER_05The new album that just came out. I am a J. Cole fancy.
SPEAKER_14I think the rollout is what got people to listen to the album, though. That's what the rollout, that's what a good rollout is about.
SPEAKER_01It has to actually be good music for people to continue listening to the album.
SPEAKER_14Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01Regardless of who it is.
SPEAKER_14Right. Right. Because you can have a great rollout and people go to the album like this shit is trash. And the best thing about the whole album was the rollout.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's true. But Cardi album was actually fire. So we talk about her rollout or whatever. But her album was actually fire. She on tour right now doing her thing. She doing her thing. Okay. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_09Absolutely.
SPEAKER_05Alright, so let's talk about the Oscars. My guy, Michael B. Jordan. Snort. Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor for his duo role, and Center's becoming the six black man to win the award, along with Denzel Washington, Jamie Fox, Will Smith, Forrest Whittaker, and Sidney Porter.
SPEAKER_07Something else.
SPEAKER_04Y'all know I don't know how to pronounce shit. We don't want to get into this.
SPEAKER_07That's nasty.
SPEAKER_05Y'all that nigga left.
SPEAKER_04I know exactly what I think. Exactly why they always do me like this. Like, y'all know from New Orleans and I can't pronounce shit, but the goddamn street names in our cities. Like y'all fucking irritating. Y'all got it.
SPEAKER_05Yo. Y'all know what the fuck I meant. We know what she meant. That shit was crazy. Y'all is fucking irritating. You don't read this to CEO before you leave the house? No. I was rushing. Next. That was funny.
SPEAKER_14I want to smoke.
SPEAKER_05I was Russia.
SPEAKER_14That was probably the all-time best one. What have I brought? Wit taker.
SPEAKER_05I see why. I see why she said it though. It looked like it, right? Wit taker. Right, right? I'm just I know some whinker. I know some winner.
SPEAKER_14There's no way. There's no way. Okay, it's fine.
SPEAKER_05Anyways, he won the first. He he was the first to win for playing twins, and it was his first occ his first Oscar.
SPEAKER_14Yes.
SPEAKER_05He did his thing. Because that movie Centers was good as things. Okay. He played his motherfucking part. Overrated. Not even just centers. Any movie that Michael B. Jordan plays in, you know it's gonna be good. Like he's just a good ass actor. He knows how to play his motherfucking role. He does. He's a great one.
SPEAKER_03So that he could walk different because he was playing two different personalities. Like the mental. Like, nah, he deserved that shit. He deserved it.
SPEAKER_15He Ben deserved it, but outside of him getting out. He Ben deserved it for sure.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, yeah. I mean, that was his like, you know, lead role in that joint. And I I like it because he didn't have to do nothing out of the norm to wear no dress, you know, he had to kiss it. He was C D, yeah, he did that.
SPEAKER_05So the black man. See, we love men. We love the men. Well, I love you.
SPEAKER_15We didn't love Wick to Wickter. I hope he goes out like Denzel too, because you know they never had no Denzel went out with it.
SPEAKER_05You butch that nigga.
SPEAKER_14You hate that nigga.
SPEAKER_05No, I don't. You hate Whitker. I just can't pronounce your name. If you Lexa every week, though, Des. You heard Des Lexa every week though? Every week though. Alright, shut up, Let's. Bro, well, let's, you not here.
SPEAKER_07She here. She here. She's here.
Gas Prices And Political Heat
SPEAKER_05Alright. Alright, that's the next one. Did y'all see the gas prices? The gas prices is crazy. And they have increased since the war started with Iran. The oras, the oil prices have been rising. My bad, y'all got now. I can't say that word either. Y'all ain't clapping about that though. I didn't even know what you were trying to say, bro. What's the word?
SPEAKER_15What's the word?
SPEAKER_05The oil prices.
SPEAKER_15That's it. You said it right. You said it right. Keep going.
SPEAKER_05Y'all get them on the heart. Y'all heard them.
SPEAKER_15Thorough prices. Go ahead. But y'all, y'all get them about that though. What was it? Therapeutic? What's the word therapeutic?
SPEAKER_05She said, she said, I'm gonna come back number once in a week because my phone. Y'all excited cracking the fuck up, bro.
SPEAKER_14What you said?
unknownI didn't know what's going on.
SPEAKER_14It's like uh it's like finesse two time say milk, the murk. The murk. I'm just tacking the milk.
SPEAKER_03That is crazy.
unknownThe earl.
SPEAKER_15That damn Switzerland accident.
SPEAKER_05Anyways, anytime there is a tension in the major oil producing um regions or cuts in production and drives pieces prices everywhere. So now US drivers are now facing the highest prices in gas that we haven't seen in like two and a half years.
SPEAKER_02I knew I wasn't tripping. Yep.
SPEAKER_05Gas has jumped so high that it's damn near five dollars for diesel.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_05And I heard in the West Coast, it's about like$8.
SPEAKER_07Damn.
SPEAKER_05And many eyes are on the White House because before the war started, President Donald Trump he bragged about keeping gas prices low. And now it's when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money. When it's making a lot of voters now, his voters that, you know, voted for him basically hate him now. Because I've seen a clip on social media of this um this news went up to a lady and asked, you know, do you want to give a message to Donald Trump? And she stated, You're a worthless piece of shit. I voted for him three times and apparently I'm an idiot. Damn. She was correct. Correct. I would hurt. Yeah.
SPEAKER_14Correct.
SPEAKER_05Definitely.
SPEAKER_14But you know what's crazy about that too? They had a uh clip when I guess, you know, he do the the the congregational speeches or whatever. And uh one of the uh the people asked him, so uh how do you like with gas prices, your how did your counselors advise you on he's like I don't got nobody advise me or nothing. Right now it's high. It's gonna go back down. Typical Trump answer.
SPEAKER_05I heard it's supposed to not go back down until 2027. So until then, I am not going out.
SPEAKER_142027.
SPEAKER_05Mm-hmm. That's what I think. It's not gonna that we're most likely not gonna see gas prices go down until 2027.
Aliens, Reading, And Comprehension
SPEAKER_14Wait, did y'all see the joint with the uh the guy? I guess I don't know what um what branch he served, but uh they was like he was like they broke his hand or something because he was talking about why we doing this this war with Iran, and they was who? He was a Marine. Yeah, that shit was crazy. Like he was just going crazy. And then all the Congress people in front didn't even turn around and look at what was going on. It was crazy. Like this this yeah, shit's going fucked up. If you pay attention, shit is fucked up right now. Anything about the aliens on them cards?
SPEAKER_07The aliens, yeah.
SPEAKER_14He's in the courtroom, yeah, yeah. They treated him dirty, like this is a veteran right here.
SPEAKER_15The government just released the UAP. Yeah, they're dirty. They just released the files on the aliens. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_05I believe in alien. This nigga talking about aliens. I believe in it.
SPEAKER_15They just released the files on the aliens. I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_14I'm extremely all these planets out here. We gotta do it. I believe in the alien.
SPEAKER_05I mean, you're not talking about it. No, Area 51 is real.
SPEAKER_15They just dropped a domain called alien.com. Like you can type it up now.
SPEAKER_01So we don't really know if it's really aliens.
unknownYeah, ain't nobody been up to the city.
SPEAKER_01Are we really that naive to really think we are the only living here?
SPEAKER_05We're definitely not the only ones. No, we're not the only one.
SPEAKER_14Us. Yeah, I agree. We are aliens.
SPEAKER_15That's all I'm saying. They they the government is telling you that they're about to release the files. That's how really well.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna be friends with them aliens.
SPEAKER_14I mean, like, is a story. Like, if we really just sit there and do research, the shit is out there, but people are too recep unreceptive to the truth that they don't want to believe it. Because it's just nah, it can't be true. And it's true.
SPEAKER_01Not only the fact that they're unreceptive to the truth, people just don't like to read.
SPEAKER_14That too.
SPEAKER_01People just do not like to read.
SPEAKER_15That too. And they don't like change, and they don't like the unknown.
SPEAKER_05I know there's um there's parts of Arizona where people have had different sightings with the air the lack of literacy.
SPEAKER_14Yep.
SPEAKER_01That shit is crazy.
SPEAKER_14We can't we can't hear your money.
SPEAKER_07Absolutely.
SPEAKER_14Can't hear you. Money, we can't hear your money. Yeah. Like the people who say that's the case.
SPEAKER_01I'm so sick of people using incorrect grammar and incorrect punctuation and shit. That shit is gr that shit is crazy.
SPEAKER_02Oh, well, y'all gonna love words of the week. It's not even just that, but it's like if you it's one thing to say C Spot Run, you can read that, but if you don't understand what Spot is doing, you don't understand what the fuck you just read. So that is what we are lacking. We don't understand comprehension no more. That is what is missing. Can we talk about it? Comprehension. Good Lord.
SPEAKER_05Let's say a legend is a huge impact on believing in aliens and evolution.
SPEAKER_14Yeah. Like again, it's so much planets, and and then they found another planet. It said Earth 2.0 that they just discovered.
SPEAKER_05That's crazy.
SPEAKER_14Like it's crazy. So just imagine who's living on Earth 2.0. They said it's a habitune planet. I want to go back. Just like this. So you think people ain't living on that shit? You hear about that shit? Nah, you're not gonna be able to do that.
SPEAKER_15They're living above us right now.
SPEAKER_01They're living above us. Hey, I just heard about that shit like a night or two. Alias is real, man. They're here. That shit's crazy right there.
SPEAKER_03What?
SPEAKER_01The dolphins ain't what's the dolphin named Gerald Dude got kidnapped by some dogs.
SPEAKER_15Oh, yeah. The dolphins by dolphins. They was giving him oxygen through some shit. They was giving him oxygen that keep him keeping him alive underwater, nigga. Keeping him alive underwater, nigga.
SPEAKER_01And look, from what was told to me, from from from what was told to me about this story, when he came back up, when they found him, doctors did test on his insides, and his lungs were consistent with him being underwater.
SPEAKER_15They was giving him oxygen, nigga. The dolphins was they was communicating through uh what bubbles or some shit. How was they communicating?
SPEAKER_05It was the clicking.
SPEAKER_15Yeah, the clicking, the clicking.
SPEAKER_01It was like some something. Like clicking and telethapy, you know what I'm saying? Dolphins? Yeah, dolphins.
SPEAKER_14It's illegal like dolphins are very smart creatures. Like dolphins.
SPEAKER_06Look, when he told me about this story, he told me to go look up the type of all that they have in the house.
SPEAKER_15Hey, Bubba was telling me about this shit the other day. I'm looking at them like, bro, I want to hear that shit. That's crazy. I'm bummer here talking about it like I know.
SPEAKER_14What's this?
SPEAKER_15They just told me about this three days ago. I'm listening to them, like, my boy just told me Tuesday.
SPEAKER_07I gotta look at the shit. She's still talking about the alien just happened. Okay. She just said something else. She's talking about the aliens.
Bounce Breakdown Wrap Up
SPEAKER_05I was just saying, aliens are crap in the ocean and not in space. All right, back on track, back on track. Alright, so.
SPEAKER_13It's crazy, Moddy.
SPEAKER_05So that was it with the bounce breakdown, and it's a girl, no la death.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, it's a girl, no la death.
SPEAKER_05My cousin ain't getting paid today, but it is okay. Okay. She got a new song dropping tomorrow. Make sure you got a plan. Cause she got a new song with Lucky Day. Yeah. Yeah. You guys are all that.
SPEAKER_13It's a cousin.
SPEAKER_05Shut the fuck up. You just mad because Tink is my cousin.
What Would You Do With Roaches
SPEAKER_14I like cousin. Alright, what would you do? So if y'all familiar with my what would you do and my What Would You Do is always accounts that I've been through, that somebody else been through, or something that I saw. So this account this evening is something that somebody else went through, and I was like, yo, I gotta put that on the what would you do?
SPEAKER_15Hey, you ain't through that. You went through it a little while. What's up? Because, man. You don't want us to know your business no more.
SPEAKER_14Y'all want us to know your minutes no more? Like, I bought my mom's car. That's nothing I'm I'm not proud of, man. It's a good story, though. It's a good story. It's a great story, yeah, but I'm not proud of that shit. But that's what I do about me.
SPEAKER_15You'd be surprised how many people always blew up their mom's car. You'd be surprised.
SPEAKER_14But this one was something, an account that somebody told me, I was like, that shit is crazy. So what would you do? What would you do? I'm gonna try to make it quick and prompt and efficient. What would you do? You go to the club, after leave the club, you're drunk as hell. And you know, sometimes niggas, you're not leaving the club, you go do your roller decks, and you just text the chick. First chick that responds, you like, alright, I'm on it. So you get at the club, you drunk, say that first chick that responds, yo, yo, yeah, come through. Alright, boom. You go do shorty crib, you have a good night, go to sleep. In the middle of the night, like, you know how sometimes you have those dreams when it feels like something is really happening, but you think it's not real, but it's really real. So you like you in a dream, you're like, you feel like some shit is like happening, but you like you wake up, and you wake up, and it's roaches.
SPEAKER_07Oh nah.
SPEAKER_14Crawling over you. Like small roaches, big roaches crawling, crawling all over you. Stop. Crawling all over you. What would you do at that point?
SPEAKER_05Who else we got again?
SPEAKER_14We got you went to the girls' house. Yeah, you went to the girl's house.
SPEAKER_05I'm getting up. Up out of there. Like, what is it? What are you on? You're not cleaning up, or you you gotta roach and festive apartment, getting the fuck up.
SPEAKER_01The first thing is reacting to swiping them goddamn bugs off your ass. After that, I'm gonna keep it real. I don't even want to talk no more. I don't even want to talk. How bad is she?
SPEAKER_15How bad is this bitch? I'll defend it.
SPEAKER_10I'm giving it a gangster. I'ma give it real, every trip. I'ma keep it real, every drill.
SPEAKER_01He ain't lying, though. He ain't lying.
SPEAKER_05This nigga stupid, bro. He ain't lying.
SPEAKER_01He ain't lying, depending on how bad she is. Niggas will still take a damn.
SPEAKER_05That nigga said, How bad is she? What you do it again? What you gonna do?
SPEAKER_14That's nasty work. Bad is she. You not bad roaches off?
SPEAKER_02I am a phone. I am a phone.
SPEAKER_14Alright, so what would y'all do? What would y'all do?
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna go.
SPEAKER_05Niggas not taking into account. Alright, switch walk around with a book bag. I'm telling you.
SPEAKER_03So he's gonna put the book bag down, and now you're gonna take the roaches in your car and your pick roaches in your house. Listen, I'm from Miami, alright? Roaches? They travel around for fun.
SPEAKER_15I'm already in there. I'm already in there.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. Especially the small one. You better be in there.
SPEAKER_12You gonna be chillin' on the couch for roaches? Swish?
SPEAKER_05Wait, hold on. What would y'all do?
SPEAKER_03We got all right, alright, okay. I said I know how to get rid of them. So I'm gonna get rid of them.
SPEAKER_05I'm going to bring the bait. I'm gonna bring some Clorox and we're gonna just, you know, get it. No, that nigga ain't that. I might like him, but I'm gonna only do that if I like him, though. You must like this. That nigga, that nigga gotta be clean though. That nigga clean though.
SPEAKER_04It ain't gotta be that fun.
SPEAKER_15Hold on, hold on, hold on. That's the equivalent analogy to what he said. Just one second, this is one second, this is one second. This is for the ladies in the room. If you chillin' at a nigga crib, and ladies in a room, if you're chillin' at a nigga crib and a nigga crib is clean or whatever, whoo whoop, y'all chillin'. And the roach is you just happen to see a roach crawling on the wall. One roach.
SPEAKER_05One roach. I'm gonna be like, yo, go kill that. Go kill that. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_14We need a mic, we need a mic.
SPEAKER_02And we can say I'm a southern girl. If you got one, I'm sure it's a palmetto bug, aka water bug. That's fine. Yeah, one. I know the difference between that and German cockroaches. What the hell? No, we're talking about the real roaches roaches. You can Google it right fucking now if you want to see what it is. And you will know the difference between that and a palmetto bug. You will not.
SPEAKER_15I ain't gonna lie, she's bad.
SPEAKER_02Um, I just want to rebu rebuke what you're saying of, you know, badness and God forbid.
SPEAKER_15God forbid. And I know, and I know, I know, I know you, you, you would never have no, never had no roach in your crib. If I'm at your crib, I get quartered on the city. If I'm with Clarissa, if I'm with Clarissa and she got roaches in her bed, I don't give a fuck. I'm the dead homies.
SPEAKER_02There's no way you can be pumped. There's no way. You comfortably do what you came there to do initially with bugs. I'm gonna crap. Probably not at the end. You know you will be distracted. You're not gonna give her your best dick because you're focused on the roaches. Yeah, not crazy.
SPEAKER_15Not at her crib, not at her crib. Not at her crib.
SPEAKER_02Stop lying! If I'm in a moment though, my niggas though, I swear to God.
SPEAKER_06You uh I'm from the trenches. If we talk about just a few roaches, or we talk about an infestation. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_15I'm from the trenches, Tlant.
SPEAKER_06If we're talking just about a few roaches, then still roaches out terrible. I'm out. Well shit. I ain't gonna tell you a nigga gonna make some shake. Yeah, nigga gonna make some shake.
SPEAKER_05I'm from the trenches.
SPEAKER_14So anybody else before we I want to say one.
SPEAKER_05For me, if I was going to if I was at a guy's crib and he had one, like Swish says. No, it's not one.
SPEAKER_14You had a you gotta I just said, I just said you got little roaches and big roaches pulling on you.
SPEAKER_12You got both the buttons the little ones and big ones.
SPEAKER_05If I woke up and there was roaches calling all over me.
SPEAKER_08Oh no, we ain't gonna.
SPEAKER_05I'm definitely I'm gonna swipe them off. Uh that's the first thing. I gotta swipe them off. I'm gonna tell them, like, yo, let me get a towel, bro. I gotta go. Like, you can keep the clothes.
SPEAKER_07One towel. I can't see a bunch of roaches.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna be butt ass naked. I'm gonna be butt-ass naked because I'ma take one towel. I'm not taking my shit. Yes. A towel? You can't see shake it up. I'm not gonna clean the towel.
unknownWhat the hell?
SPEAKER_14I'm only a book on my booze, so I have to drive it. Let's get let's get to two more, two more, two more. What would y'all do?
SPEAKER_08Hey, bruh, I ain't even gonna count, bruh. I'm probably gonna if it ain't hey bruh, I'ma probably roll like two blunts, put my book band back in the car. You feel me? Wait, you gonna roll two blunts while the voters calling on you? Nah, I'm gonna roll my shit while I'm standing up, sweet. What you talking about? You feel me? I'ma roll my shit while I'm standing up. Yeah, I'm gonna take my shit back in the car and I'm gonna probably go back in there and see where it goes, but I'm probably gonna hit in the bathroom. Like, what? That's the same activity. I'm gonna go hit, I'm gonna hit in the bathroom, gang. Oh no, I'm from the hood. We stand up, roll up. What you mean? On the back.
unknownYou just think that the bathroom is in the hall.
SPEAKER_08Nah, but you can see more in the bathroom. It ain't no carpet, it ain't none of that. If this little motherfucker crawling on the counter, I can see him. You feel me?
SPEAKER_04What you gonna do if he's crawling on the counter?
SPEAKER_08I'm standing up. I'm probably gonna beat her over on the sink. So if it's crawling on the counter, it's crawling on you. It ain't crawling on you. Them your castles and shit. Hell no. Them your roommate. Y'all had a horny ass. You gotta stand up. I'm just saying if I was gonna go that far. I'm in his nigga. I'm not gonna go that far, but if I was.
SPEAKER_05Oh no. It's always a nigga.
SPEAKER_12Alright, one more, one more, one more person.
SPEAKER_04Y'all fucking a dirty ass.
SPEAKER_05One more person.
SPEAKER_15I'm just a boy. I'm just a man.
SPEAKER_04First of all, I'm immediately screaming. Y'all can see that. And I'm leaving. I can see that. And they're never here after again. That's it. Y'all nasty. Y'all nasty as hell. Nasty as hell. I'm judging y'all.
SPEAKER_02No, Paul. No, but you okay with seeing them?
SPEAKER_08They do. They do. So this was the end. Hold on.
SPEAKER_14Out of sight, out of mind. So this was the end result of the story. They ain't gonna believe this shit, right? So the nigga, he got up. He got up. He said he got up. He's like, Y'all, I got the fuck up out of there, bro. Got the fuck up there. I was punching shit on the way out. Got the fuck up there, right? So he said, yo. So he said when Shorty woke up the next morning, she texted nigga, like, yo, where you was at? He's like, think she got roaches. He said she denied that she had roaches. She was like, You lying, because niggas. I used to lie that she got roaches. Niggas never said I had roaches. He's like, Are you crazy? I was punching all my way out of here that there was roaches. Check the floor, check the carpent. Probably dead roaches over there. So I ain't no roaches here. You lying, nigga, because I had niggas over here before. I ain't never had no problem. He's like, yo, Tor. The bitch was delusional. He was like, yo, it looked like somebody put the like the C said, he said it looked like somebody put the spray can in there and get the roaches out, and it was all out in the apartment. Oh the bog. The bog. The bog shit. And a whole bunch of roaches out. And she trying to say that she don't have no roaches.
SPEAKER_15Yeah, like it really depends on how bad she is. Cause I done went, I done went to a joint crib, but her shit her shit was looking crazy. I ain't seen roaches, but it was smelling bad. She was looking crazy. Like the house was looking crazy. Her kids was even looking right. She letting the kids go outside with the shoes off. I done text my baby mama. I said, look, call me and blank on me. Like I forgot to pick up Juju or something.
SPEAKER_14Listen, I grew up in the P. My baby mama called me.
SPEAKER_15My baby mama called me five minutes later, right?
SPEAKER_07Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_15You gotta get juju. What the fuck? She did so good. I forgot. I told her to call me. Like, I'm like, nigga, nigga, you done got a mad around. I'm like, how you forgot that? She said, Swish. You just told me to call you. I'm like, oh yeah. Your ass won't be. Got me a body there, though. Shout out to you. Shout out to you for that, gang.
SPEAKER_14But yo, man, that was my mom, would you do? So what would you do? Male or female, you at the club, you hit the text, you're like, yo, I'm coming over. You go over, try to do the thing, go to sleep, you wake up, whole bunch of fucking roaches closing up on you. The fuck you gonna do? Like my man Switch saying if she's bad enough, he gonna hit.
SPEAKER_15Not at the house. Not at the house. At my crib. I'm gonna take it to my house.
SPEAKER_14It's roaches, it's roaches. Let's go to the bathroom. Like my man says, let's go to the bathroom. We're more roaches.
SPEAKER_05I'm still sweet as that. That bitch is nasty. I don't even like dirt. I wish I would.
SPEAKER_02Thank you. They don't think I'm not gonna do that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, nigga. You gotta see that in the bathroom.
SPEAKER_14Wait, what was the creative tape on the head?
SPEAKER_05The bathroom looked nasty.
SPEAKER_14So you gonna wake up and like it's gonna be a car? Nope.
SPEAKER_05Bathroom where she got roached. The bathroom in the kitchen is so important. Yeah. But you don't want to bring it back to the kitchen. Yeah, car. Yes, you are because it wouldn't even have been me. The first thing I'm doing is going on in the bathroom. How the bathroom looks.
SPEAKER_02Yes, they do. Yes, they do. Yes, they do.
SPEAKER_05They get out, they get on that bag. As soon as you open that bag out home, it's coming out. Don't let it be a pregnant one. Don't let it be a pregnant ride. Don't let it be a pregnant one. Don't let it be a pregnant one.
SPEAKER_10All them babies coming out.
SPEAKER_14All them babies. They look like 40, 50 babies. Right in your bag. You know how embarrassing that is if you go on a travel trip and you don't know you got roach, and then you go get your bag on the carousel, you tap that bitch, a roach is plant up that bitch. I seen it happen.
SPEAKER_15Embarrassing. I ain't gonna lie. When you got your own crib, you don't even like going to people's house with dirty. I ain't gonna lie. I ain't gonna lie. Alright, we got the next set.
SPEAKER_07Let's go, you ain't gonna lie. You ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_05Perfect, me not right quiet on the set.
SPEAKER_03Hey, hey, it's me, Bellamy. Come on. And this is unapologetically opinionated. Argue with your mama. Don't argue with me. I didn't shade you, the facts did.
SPEAKER_05Period.
SPEAKER_03Facts did.
SPEAKER_05So my first one is serial dating is so important. And when I say dating, I'm I'm not talking about texting. I'm not talking about being on the phone. I'm talking about going on outings, seeing how this person interacts with others. Like the things that I was dealing with when I was 21 is not the shit that I'm still dealing with at age 28. And I know it has like a negative connotation, but you ain't gotta fuck all these niggas though.
SPEAKER_14I was about to say that you fucking all these niggas?
SPEAKER_05No, you ain't gotta fuck all. If you want to, not if you want to. If you want to, you can fuck them.
SPEAKER_14I don't I don't condone that.
SPEAKER_05But that's not gonna end lead you with the end result that you want as a woman, which is to be with a healthy partner. So if you go off and fuck on all these niggas, go ahead, bitch, that's your choice. But they're not looking at you more than a piece of meat.
SPEAKER_03You see how they holding on to that one little part. Okay, like I'm not I'm I'm not I'm not saying you have to. Okay. If you want to, then fine. But it's really figuring out what you are willing to accept and the things that you're not willing to accept, regardless of the sex.
SPEAKER_05Yes. That's all. Granted, clock it. Where's that?
SPEAKER_07I just started precious.
SPEAKER_05I guess I guess it was definitely an unproblem opinion. I'm with you, girl. I'm with you. Hey, yo. Clock it. Clock it up for next time.
SPEAKER_07We just want to hold the soundboard.
SPEAKER_05We're just on this on soul. I want to ask the men, how do y'all feel about serial dating? I mean, y'all be doing that anyways. So, how y'all feel about it?
SPEAKER_15I think it's good. I think it's good for the soul. I think that's a good thing. I think you just need to like just figure it out. I think instead of just playing with one person and and then still talking to other people, that's that's retarded. Like, play the field until you find what you want. You know what I'm saying? If you never find what you want, it's what it is. People die at two years old and never ever know what love is. So it ain't that deep.
SPEAKER_07I'm saying that's real shit.
SPEAKER_15Like, people obsessed over love. That's real G shit, though. That's just real, just be happy. Be happy. You feel me? Because love is is is hard to find. And like real truth is hard. But being happy. Not being being happy without being happy at the cost of somebody else's feelings.
SPEAKER_03Are you also telling them that you are dating other people as well?
SPEAKER_05He's definitely dating other people.
SPEAKER_15I'm saying whatever I got going on ain't nobody's business. You know what I'm saying? That's what I'm saying. Y'all nosy as fuck. End of the day, niggas nosy. Ain't none of y'all business.
SPEAKER_03But don't you shouldn't feel supposed to be big on communication.
SPEAKER_15We big I'm a humongous on communication. I feel like you sh you just you shouldn't feel bad for just just you know being happy. Just being happy. Just whether you data. You don't have to fuck everybody, because everybody is not deserving of especially if you got some good shit, everybody ain't deserving. So don't fuck everybody. But enjoy your life. Don't don't feel responsible for nobody else's emotions. You feel me? Because misery love company.
SPEAKER_01I think I think a lot of people don't understand that. And I think people, I I think they peep people really wouldn't really understand it until you've really been in like a long-term relationship. Because everybody initially looks for love and happiness, right? But love don't always equate to happiness. If you don't if you if if you've been in like real relationships before for periods of time, you understand love does not equate to happiness. Nope. For real, it doesn't. Relationships don't don't last off happiness. You know what I'm saying? It don't. It don't. That the most the most happy the most happiest times out of y'all relationship is the very beginning stages.
SPEAKER_06After that, once y'all done been together two, three, four, five years, man. That shit ain't fair. I love you, but get the fuck out of my face. I love you though.
SPEAKER_01So therefore, I always therefore love isn't love does not equate to happiness. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_05Y'all remember on that dipset album? I can't remember if it was Cameron or dipset. He said, you know, when you first meet a bitch, you gotta slap a bitch. So she knows what they expect. So she knows what they expect. And it's a thin line. Wait, wait. That's a DV case. We know sometimes.
SPEAKER_12No, that's not literal.
SPEAKER_05It's just meaning however you come in a relationship or you meet the person, continue to be that same way. If you came in aggressive, she liked it, nigga. Like, don't change up. If you came in soft, don't try to change up later. Like, I don't know. Stick to what the fuck you presented in the beginning. Stick to what it is you presented, because people be quick to switch up. I promise you.
SPEAKER_15I want you to see me how you met me.
SPEAKER_05Okay, so the fact of the matter is key five niggas at least on you. Leave them in the pocket. And make sure that they are benefiting you in some type of way, either they like putting you onto something like stocks, money, finances, education, books, music.
SPEAKER_06Low-key she gives the game, though. Because it's already like that. Low key, she she she giving the game. No lies.
SPEAKER_05Nah, especially not at this big old age. Like, come on out. It's either you doing something or you getting the fuck on.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Uh oh.
SPEAKER_03Stimulate. You're not you're not doing it. Lock it. Woo! Lock it.
SPEAKER_14Look at the look at the background speaking.
SPEAKER_04May the best man win. Any of y'all want to speak on it before we move on? She said, may the best man win.
SPEAKER_14It's all it's just red. It's all in L.
SPEAKER_04What that means. Oh, okay. Okay. Um, I definitely think serial dating is good. I think um we give too much to ourselves when we meet one person. Um we don't have to plan a life with every person we meet. Um, I do think you need to be transparent. Like, um, yes, I would like to talk to you. However, I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket. I'd like to keep my options open. If this goes anywhere, then of course, yes, it will become exclusive. Easter is coming up.
SPEAKER_15Ain't no wrong with a couple eggs. Easter is coming up.
SPEAKER_04Hey, so diamond, right?
SPEAKER_14So, what if a nigga that you just met and he has the camera model and just slaps the shit out of you? What? You heard me. You heard me.
SPEAKER_15Dominant going for that.
SPEAKER_14Same shot. And he got the camera on syndrome, and he meets you, like, hey, my name, and you know, and just slaps the shit out of you. Out of me?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, yeah. Out of me?
SPEAKER_04What camera said, just what Cameron said?
SPEAKER_05When you first meet a bitch, you gotta slap him.
SPEAKER_04Because that's jail time. Like, I'm not incriminating myself.
SPEAKER_05I ain't say I gotta be in front of other people now.
SPEAKER_04That was just a way of like saying, yo, just however you meet me, continue to be displayed. Absolutely not. That's not gonna end well at all. You can't put your hands on me.
SPEAKER_05We're gonna be in that bitch tussle. And and and and and um it's Bellamese, a beautiful fucking soul, and we was talking about unapologetically appearinated.
SPEAKER_14Hey, let's get a round of applause for Apolog what shit. Unapologetic, can y'all niggas say that shit five times?
SPEAKER_15No, it's a funny.
SPEAKER_10You can't even pronounce it. You know I was coming with that one. I know. Yeah, funny as hell. Whitker is funny as fuck.
SPEAKER_12Alright, well, shoot up that bitch. Hey, you funny as fuck.
Words Of The Week
SPEAKER_05Yo, you funny as hell. Okay, we are moving on to the words of the week, you guys. Um, I know my girl over here was talking about just having some kind of intellectual ability when it comes to conversations and just, you know, knowing a little bit. So this is gonna be words of the week, the segment where we dress our vocabulary in silk and we give it a little bit of spice. Spice. We talk dirty, but we keep things not censored. This is no motherfucking advisory. No advisory.
SPEAKER_15I feel smarter already.
SPEAKER_05All right, so the first word we're gonna discuss today is eidolon. Eidolon is a noun, and it's spelled. Switch, get off your phone. I thought he was Googling. E-I D O L O N. Idolon. Idolon. Yes. Does anybody want to take any guesses before I go into what it's derived from?
SPEAKER_15Is that one title? Is that is that one? There you go.
SPEAKER_05Mm-hmm. You heard my girl, person, place, or thing.
SPEAKER_15Idol now.
SPEAKER_05Someone that you idolize. It's not, but that actually sounds good. Someone that you come like. That's what you say. Same thing she said. Idolon. And it's basically derived derived from a Greek word meaning image. Phantom. Um also itis is from form or appearance. So those words together. Idis, which is form or appearance, and these are Greek words that the main word is derived from. So Iodon means image or um phantom. But yes, okay, so basically, this is um an idealized person or a ghostly image. Oh I was about to say that. Why are you telling that? I was just about to say that. You are? I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Frank. I'm sorry, Frank. So idolon is basically an idolized person or a ghostly image. I know I was gonna say a ghost. So I would say Instagram got folks chasing idolons instead of real life. Ooh. That is fact. That's fat. That's a bar and a half. Alright, so um, the next word we're gonna get into today is geled. And gelad is an adjective. It's spelled G-E-L-I-D.
SPEAKER_14Gelled.
SPEAKER_05G-E-E-D. I'm thinking like angelic, like you know whimsical, whimsical. Okay. Is it something like togetherness? What's the word again? Gelled. G-E-L-I-D. It's an adjective.
SPEAKER_15Oh, that's real soft. You soft everywhere in your body. You're real soft, everywhere in your body.
SPEAKER_05Okay, it describes a person, place, or thing. That would be describing, but that's not the word. Anyone else want to take any guesses? It should be loud. What was that, baby? I'm gonna use it in a sentence. The sentence is her gelad sear could have iced the whole drink without a freezer.
SPEAKER_15A mean mug.
SPEAKER_05Kind of like a meme mug, yeah. So the it's from uh um the Latin word gelatus, meaning cold or icy, and gelou, which is frost. Cold ass motherfucking. So to take, yeah, pretty much um the definition is an extremely cold or icy stare. So it can be literal or emotional. So you can be cold as fuck emotionally as well. You know, you're in that relationship and you you over it. You just like nigga, don't even look at me. We get another motherfucking hour. Or you could be staring at a snowman. Staring at a snowman? Staring at a snowman. Bro, what? What tough crowd, tough crowd. Get out of it. All right, um, the third word we're gonna go into today is mumpsismus. Sorry, mumpsimus.
SPEAKER_14That sounds sound like some shit you get dying.
SPEAKER_15That's what happens whenever you go over to somebody else who got roaching. You get you get mumpsus into the right.
SPEAKER_05That's what it sounds like. Mumus. You'll get mumpsimus, which is a noun. Mumpsimus is spelled M-U-M-P-S-I-M-U-S.
SPEAKER_14Mumpsimus.
SPEAKER_05Mumpsimus. What did you say, friend? It sounds secretive. What I've been saying was agitative. Yeah, but anyone else want to take any guesses? It comes from a medieval Latin word, which is um basically misreading of some pessimists. So basically, back in the olden days, a priest refused to correct himself after being told he was wrong. A narcissist.
SPEAKER_14Someone who sticks to wrong beliefs.
SPEAKER_05He knows how to read, y'all. It clearly says someone who sticks to a wrong belief despite evidence. You always like, oh shit, believe this thing.
SPEAKER_12It was right. It was right. It was right.
SPEAKER_05Does anybody want to use it in the sentence? So mump mumpsimus, mumpsimus. Do you want to use it in a sentence?
SPEAKER_12Nope.
SPEAKER_05Um, I would say she googled it, got proven wrong, and still doubled down. Mumpsimus energy for sure. Mumpsimus. Just too confidently incorrect. Yeah. You gotta go to Chatiano.
SPEAKER_15Wait, what did you say? She didn't say nothing of importance.
SPEAKER_04I said that swish.
SPEAKER_05I did hear that.
SPEAKER_10That's why it wasn't important. It ain't funny.
SPEAKER_05Alright, I got one more word for you guys today. And this one is a doozy, so you guys gotta listen, okay? The word is Viva Sepulture. Viva sepulture. It's not Latin. It's spelled V-I, V I, S E P U L T E R E, and it's a noun. Viva sepulture.
SPEAKER_15That's a compound word.
SPEAKER_05It's not a compound word, it's just the one word. Vivis sepulture. What is it? So vivid sepulture.
SPEAKER_15It sounds like a smart animal, a smart zebra. Y zebra? I don't know. I just I see I see strikes when I hear the word.
SPEAKER_05Vivus sepulture. Okay, it's um comes from a Latin word vivis, meaning alive, and sepultura meaning burial. A tool? A tomb? A tool. A zebra fur. It does sound like a tool, but it's not a tool. Someone that's dead on the inside, someone from the audience said, that sounds very good. Actually, that's kind of leading in that direction. So basically, this word is the act of being buried alive, and that can be meta um literal or metaphorical. So you could give somebody a mental burial any day, you know what I mean? I would say staying in your comfort zone took too long. I'm sorry. Staying in your comfort zone too long can turn into kind of a vifus sepulchre. Vivus sepulcher.
SPEAKER_14So that's shit five times.
SPEAKER_05Vivus selpeture, vivid selpture, vivid selfure, vivis selper, vivis selpure. I almost fucked up. It almost doesn't matter. Yo, okay. But anyway, that was your uh vocab upgrade for the week. The segment will make you a little bit smart.
Pot And Bars Freestyles
SPEAKER_15Yes, you dumb mother. Smart already, nigga. You see, we got in a building. We got heavy hitters tonight. We got we got AKM and the K.
SPEAKER_14Wait, that's eight, wait.

SPEAKER_02Oh shit. AKM, nigga.
SPEAKER_10Like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_14That's like a dissent uh beat. You got AKM here.
SPEAKER_15Yeah, yeah. He picked the beat. AKM picked the beat. So he gotta go first. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, AKM gotta go first.
SPEAKER_15You're gonna go crazy.
SPEAKER_14You know what for potter balls? We gotta start bringing a red mic here for potters. Yeah, yeah. Give it that. Yeah, we're gonna do that next week. That's not a lot of work. We just leave the shit right there. Light work. Yep. All right. We did that shit before all the time. All the time. That's nothing. It's light work.
SPEAKER_09It's light. It's light work.
SPEAKER_14Shut the fuck. Alright, what's the beat? You got the bee?
SPEAKER_15Oh shit.

SPEAKER_05It's a vibe.
SPEAKER_15Pre-done.
SPEAKER_05You was Ben supposed to send that shit in the track. Yep.
SPEAKER_15Lex Lex not being here kind of it kind of threw me out. That's why you gotta be ready, so that's the way you're gonna be able to narcissists. That's why. Uh-huh. I mean that was on. Am I really a narcissist?
SPEAKER_05That's what it is.
SPEAKER_14Okay, now the Bluetooth is on now, I bet it connect. Yep, there we go. We're gonna plug you up. I sent it. Too late. No, you're supposed to be on Bluetooth. So you gotta send it.

It's nighttime and Jay's still askin for wake-ups. Best leave me alone. I'm on my grizzly and I'm hungry for this. And if you hungry, then you run in, then you gunning for this. That's how I go though. You scratch my back, I scratch yours. Whatever timing that you want, then my energy match yours. I can notice that you fake, I can see you're an actor. Type of nigga that a front like he real, then back door. Gotta keep these niggas away from round me. Small circle, there's real love if you around me. We pop shit, but never be on no hot shit. Plenty things in this world to play with, but not this. The hot shit was being out on the block with a pocket full of rocks and a glock clip while the cops said. Junkies on the block, I saw they sold for a rock. That's why so many niggas stay beaten down the block. I still feel you, nigga. It's been two years, it's still tears. I still hear you, nigga. You may be gone, but ain't no way we gon' dismiss you, nigga. We all feel the same way. We just miss you, nigga. We all felt that shit was wrong. I never would have thought that in this way. I put your name up in a song. I really hate the fact you didn't gone. Best hype man in the world put you, my brother, yeah, that shit's forever known. The pain I feel, I feel that shit deep down up in my soul. I love your bru. And yeah, that shit's forever known. Long live freak, man. Greatest hype man in the motherfucking world. Long live freak.
